The company raised the floors, and they are within reason of being level. However, I noticed a couple of months later that they crushed one of the airducts that was literally next to one of the support beams that they installed. I did send an email to my point of contact with the company and received an email back stating that since I "did not reach out to them within the 24-hour period of them installing the beams, that they were not liable for the damage." I reached out to the BBB and Crawlspace Solutions called me. The company stated that they were going to send someone out to look at the damage to determine if they caused it or not. I took off half a day of work, leaving work at 11am and waited I received a call from the company at 3pm stating that they were not sending anyone out, because they had sent several crews out to work on their other issues which they had caused. The company has been out 2 times in the past to fix other issues. They pinched wires which caused breakers to trip and the support stands that they used to level the house were not centered on the beam. If you use them, be sure to inspect everything they did shoddy poor work. Imagine had this happened to a disabled individual and they could not go under their house to inspect the work for damages. The HVAC tech that I am having repair the damage stated that it was obviously caused by their crews and is going to cost me a good portion of money to get fixed.

Re-Store's selection of flooring was limited at best, so we'd already mapped our path back to Home Depot, but decided to check out Chuck's first- Man oh man! This is the spot when you need a big project done and you need to do it quick, on a budget. It's a housing supply surplus store. They don't have a super broad selection, but *tons* of what they do have, and the prices are a steal if you can be flexible about color/style/shape etc. They're especially good for tile, flooring, vanities, sinks. In general, it's not a broad selection, but there are some solid finds. On the downside, it is way off the beaten path (possibly hard to find), and quite frankly, looks a little scary from the outside. Still, if it's what you're looking for, it's magical to find a warehouse like this! This is a raw, unpolished, construction materials store, so it is dusty, dirty, a little disorganized. You have to know what you're looking for, and how to use it. So if you go looking for it, be prepared for that :)

We were having a somewhat large 20k dollar job done which included doors, siding, and a covered porch put up. Everything started off well. The salesman came out helped us make choices and everything went according to plan...in the beginning. We were told they would come out and paint everything before the siding went up that way they would not damage the siding. This never happened. I had to go up to the office to request this to be taken care of because no one would respond to my calls questioning this. Our door that was ordered was ordered backwards, and when pointed out the contractor basically shrugged his shoulders. Now I have to open my door, then close it to turn on the lights to the outside. The trim around the door was damaged and then reinstalled leaving huge cracks around the door. I contacted the salesman and he stated he could fix it. Guess what, it never happened. We were worried about water damage before we began and the salesperson stated he budgeted extra for the damage. We were then told there was no water damage and only small fixes were required, but we were billed the total amount. The trim pieces on the house are not level and when you point it out to others, they will state "wow, that is all I can see now". The back patio cover has vast amounts of silicone on it, when I showed the salesperson, who for all intents and purposes I would consider the project manager, just shrugged his shoulders and said, "yeah, that is a lot." We ordered special lights for the house, through another company, and Windows and More said they can hang them. They put them onto too small of light mounts and they look like they are leaning. We ordered a storm door for the front of the house, and we really liked how the front door turned out. We then thought about using the door in the back of the house but it would not fit as it was the wrong size. The sales man said he could take it and sell it and we could order a different door for the back of the house. He did say it would take a while, but here we are 6 months after the fact and I've heard nothing from anyone, after all they did receive the final payment. Also, in the front they took off my doorbell and never replaced it. They left two exposed wires out there in which my nephew and son began touching them together and burnt up my doorbell. After the job has been completed, I still have two exposed wires out there that I guess I'm going to have to take care of. In the end, my house does look better than it did before we started. People do say they like it until they start looking at the fine details. People like the design and colors, which my wife and I came up with. This is a completely average company, who can do basic stuff and does not communicate well or follow through with what they say. They are one of the more expensive companies as they market themselves as being a good contractor, with a good product. They do in fact have a good product, it just looks like a DIY person put it up after watching some YouTube videos. I would have much rather paid an extra 10k for a different company who has a superior product and stands behind his craftsmanship. Windows and more will sell you a quality product with a Lowes type installation and charge you high end craftsmanship prices. Craftsmanship and "Windows and More" should not be used in the same sentence. I would highly suggest to anyone out there to not make the final payment until everything has been fixed to your satisfaction. Don't be a dope like me and trust Windows and More will keep their word and has any amount of honor to the things they say they will do. He fixed the rot issues. I have not problem with his workmanship. My issue is it took 5 weeks and them they tried to make me pay 30% more for labor. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting on them to fix the gutter they put in the wrong space. I have no faith they will call me back.
