First, when they moved our washing machine, they knocked the sink off of the wall and spilt the blue liquid detergent all over the carpet, so my husband had to rent a carpet machine to clean up the mess and make repairs. Second, I had to ask multiple times for them to wrap the computer screen on my peloton. It was loaded into the truck still unwrapped, but they finally did it as I stood there and watched. But the biggest mess up was them failing to wrap a new expensive leather chair that I told them when we walked through the house to wrap and that it was expensive...to please be careful. Well, they didn't wrap it, and I didn't monitor every move. (And my husband was occupied with renting a carpet cleaner and fixing the sink being knocked off the wall!) I was devastated to find my chair with BLACK SHARPIE on it that transferred over from a box sitting on it!!! Of course no ownership was taken. The response from Cornelius was that they had pads, but they couldn't leave them with us. What?!? We had plastic wrap leftover that wasn't used! Nor did he ask me if I had other blankets!!! Closets with signs on doors to pack all contents. They failed to load 25% of boxes and totally ignored closets. Used truck driver as scapegoat to sign off on loading so they can escape their contractual commitments. I hired My Family's Hauling to move me from Knoxville to Nashville. The owner Josh and one…read moreadditional worker showed up and took over 6 hours to load my 2-bedroom apartment. It got to the point that my two friends and I had to help them just to move the process along. Upon arriving in Nasville I found that 6 pieces furniture incurred damages, which totaled over $6,000 in damages. By the time they were wrapping things up it was 10:30pm (they started at 8:30am). The owner Josh went to his truck for once last sweep, and I waited and waited for him to come back to wrap things up and give me his insurance information. I finally called him, and he had dashed the seen! He rudely left, leaving my keys in the door, without giving me his insurance information. I have reached out to Josh a number of times to get this resolved with no response. I had also hired them for junk removal, and I later discovered that they had left my headboard at my old apartment complex. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
