Ray is the most professional, knowledgeable, polite, and punctual electrician I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many over the years. We have owned a Tesla since 2019 and when we got it we had two 14-50 outlets (to charge the car) installed in our garage for our first Tesla knowing we might purchase a second one later. We ended buying our second Tesla last month. Unbeknownst to us both outlets were installed on the same breaker and immediately overloaded and melted once we plugged in both cars. It could've caused a fire! Our previous electrician installed it incorrectly and illegally. We needed a panel upgrade from 150 to 200 amps and new car charging outlets on separate breakers. His quote beat out two others and included stucco and paint which most electricians don't do. Unfortunately, we scheduled a day and time for Ray to come by and look at the electrical work. Possibly a $5k-10k job. We scheduled a week and an a half before. I waited 30 minutes and texted him. He responded one time only as he said he was stuck at a job. Ok! Ray has come out to my place twice. The first time he installed a new 220 line down to my garage to hook up a car charger. Since my townhouse doesn't have conduit he had to saw into the drywall to pull the wires through. He did an excellent job with the installation and drywall patching. I recently had some electric trouble - i blew a 20amp breaker while pulling only 17amps. After resetting the breaker everything came back on except for four outlets. He told me the worst case scenario on the phone would be that some wires melted together inside the wall and he'd have to run new wires to the outlets, which would involve sawing into the drywall again. However, once on site he quickly diagnosed the issue and made the repair in under an hour without having to damage my walls and switched my breaker to 15 amps as a preventative measure because the knuckle heads who wired the outlets in the house used the wrong gauge wire for 20 amps Ray is the most professional contractor I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and I will be calling on him again at some point to install recessed lighting and possibly rewire the entire house.
