On 8/3/26 my 95 year old mother paid $499 to replace a circuit breaker which took 15 minutes. . She requested service for a washing machine outlet that had no power. She had just got out of the hospital 3 days earlier, so she asked me to come over to supervise the service tech. Upon arrival of the tech, I showed him the outlet and the circuit breaker box (which was 10 feet away). He used his circuit breaker tester and determined which breaker needed to be replaced, unscrewed 4 bolts, removed the panel, went to his truck, brought 4 dusty used looking used breakers back and replaced the defective one. Service complete in under 15 min. GoPro charged my mother $499. She did not want to dispute the charges and paid the bill immediately. I called GoPro under my name and requested a quote for replacing a defective circuit breaker. GoPro said $149 was the cost of replacing the breaker. No additional chargers (I have the quote recorded). GoPro took advantage of an elderly woman on a fixed income. I confronted GoPro about the exorbitant bill and they were rude and condescending to me. $499 for 15 min of work is an untrustworthy business. Be ware of this company for your electrical needs. read more

We hired Go Pro Electric for a significant project to update our 1930 garage, requiring new electrical plugs, ceiling lights, moving some switches, a smaller electrical panel, as well as fixing a non-working  light switch in our house. We were clear that  all work should be done up to code. Unfortunately, our experience with Go Pro was disappointing. While Go Pro's owner, Omer, responded quickly to our inquiry and provided an estimate the next day, most of the actual work was performed by another team member. We had requested the new electrical panel be smaller but was the same size as the old one. To make matters worse, it was fitted with mismatched, seemingly used fuses instead of the new ones we were charged for. New plugs were installed in the garage, but they were not GFI outlets, which are, we've learned, a safety requirement for garages. The broken interior light switch was replaced but, inexplicably, the workman also swapped out existing flush ceiling lights that matched the room--they didn't consult us before doing so. The replacements don't match and seem to have been thrown in as an afterthought. To add insult to injury, one of the old fixtures was accidentally left behind, the rest were thrown away, and it worked just fine when we tested it. After the workman was "finished," we smelled smoke, which warranted an urgent follow-up. Omer was quick to respond to that issue and assist. A few days later,  it got very cold and our heating wasn't working. According to the HVAC technician we had come out, the cause was the electrical work performed by Go Pro Electric. When the technician walked through the garage, we were told not only was the work below standard but it posed a potential safety hazard. We were also informed that the $2,500 we paid for the new panel was unnecessary since the original panel was high quality and fully functional. When we reached out to Omer regarding these concerns, he was not as responsive. While he did eventually address certain issues, such as replacing the fuses, putting in the GFI plugs, and resolving the HVAC problem, he refused to correct the mismatched light fixtures or refund the $500 we spent on them. This, despite our having spent close to $10,000 on this project. Although Omer is very nice and was initially responsive and helpful during the estimate phase, our overall experience with the quality and professionalism of the service was disappointing. I cannot recommend Go Pro Electric for projects requiring attention to detail and adherence to promised standards. read more
