My toilet has been clogged since Saturday and believe it or not, A+ Plumbing were the first plumbers to even want to come out and check the clog. We are new to the area so I went to the Yellow Pages for info, since there were hardly any reviewed plumbers. I started on the first page and started calling for estimates. See all those BIG fancy ads on the plumbers page? I called four of the biggest and not one came out. The first one said "Call me back and leave your info, I'll be by this afternoon." Nothing, he never came, he never called. I had one of the biggest shops give me advice on how to unclog the toilet MYSELF!! Oh Lordy!! Finally, I took a chance and called one of the plumbers with the small ad on the second page of shops. Bingo!!! I talked to Dave the owner who said his coworker Mark, would be out shortly. AND HE WAS THERE WITHIN THE HOUR. Eventually, Dave had to come out and work on the access pipe outside the house and within 3hrs of my phone call, my problem had been solved!! It was brought to my attention there were spliced wires and water was dumping on the dirt in my crawl space. I called them and told them the installation was not done correctly. They had technicians come the next morning, they repaired the spliced wires, connected the drain for the water softener. When they were done they gave me a bill for $193 which I asked the techs why I was responsible for that. I called their company, got VoiceMail telling them how dissatisfied I was in the original installation. When I went to pay, the owner said his guys didn't do the electrical but he'd research and call me back. I corrected him stating H&C had done it all. He called me and said they'd take $100 off my bill. I went back and settled up with them. I was/am a dissatisfied customer. I feel I should not have been billed for anything because this was never installed correctly. Very expensive and always sends two technicians.

He installed a new drop in sink for us back in January as well as a filtration faucet and a main kitchen faucet. Good communication throughout his process and if he needed an extra part, he would give us a heads up ahead of time. Recently, our main faucet had begun leaking and flooded our countertops and under sink. I hired in with this company 4/7/25. They did not have the I- 9, a way for me to clock in or out,…read moreno employee handbook with company rules and policies at day one of my start date. Every business is required to post state and federal rules for hourly rate employees. There are none posted anywhere. The owner Joe makes up rules in order to suite his company's unwritten rules and policies. They are very disorganized. And their communications lack professional standards. Most of the employees are from AB May Plumbing. There is little regard for OSHA work place safety standards, pulling permits, following uniform code standards. Just get the job done, collect the money and get out of there. They are really good at being fake with people and will tell you everything you want to hear just to get a customer to sign on the dotted line. I spent an entire day waiting for a ladder tall enough to reach a certain height at a customers home. What happened was placing a ladder on top of saw houses. A water line was placed next to an electric outlet. By code that outlet needed a GFCI protection. Joe played dumb when I told him. I did how ever informed that customer. If this is how they treat their employees. They certainly rip off their customers with very high labor and materials with a huge mark up of 100 to 200 % if not more. To support their other endeavors such as raising cattle and pigs. Harley Davidson motor cycles. He may say I'm a disgruntled employee. Let me tell you. I owed and operated my own plumbing company. I have many years of experience, many certifications, continue education courses. I caught him in lies and fabricated stories. He even made up some story I never said in order to flip the script or defect the attention off him and back on me. I had to get the Holden police involved to get my tools back. He told the police lies that I was threatening him and other employees. I only threatened him with the department of labor state and federal level, Code enforcement rules and regulations, and OSHA work place safety standards. All I wanted was my tools and Todd, His other employee, and him would not make arrangements to get me my tools so I could do the job I was hired for. The BNI ( Business Networking Group) was way more important than me getting my tools back so I could do my job. Joe's management skills are definitely something less than " Professional" his only goal is his wallet. I have so much experience and education. I had a job that same day he fired me. A word to the wise. Check your contractor out. Make sure they are authorized to work in your County jurisdiction with a business license in each country Pickle Plumbing operates. Make sure you inform code enforcement in your county. Code enforcement is there to protect you the customer and to make sure the job is done right.
