After charging me 1000 dollars to rebuild a hobart mixer less than a year and a half ago my speed…read moreone stopped working. they sent a service tech out that took a look at the machine which ran in speed two and three just fine and fully operational. The tech said he couldn't fix it so he took it back to the shop where the "PRO" could look at it. I was told it would be 2300 to fix the machine. I told them to just return my machine and the equipment they took with it (that they shouldn't have taken) and I would just use the machine for other things and use my back up machine for our bread dough. The service tech then said it will cost a lot more money to get it back to working order like it was because they took it apart and went on to say it needed a bunch of work to get it back to that level of operation (even though it went in to the shop in that condition?) Well a month later and I still don't have the machine or the equipment they took with it back and never a phone call or any contact explaining why. seems because I decided not to use their service and they can't fix it they think I will just go away. Not gonna happen Midwest. I want my mixer back in the condition I gave it to you in with my equipment you took. I paid you 307 dollars to take my machine and give me an estimate.. well I turned it down as another company I have been in contact with said they would rebuild the whole thing for 1400 dollars (well under your bid) This company is a sham and will screw you too. I have also spoken to a couple other business owners that will never use their service again because of some similar type situations. Bad service Midwest and your days will be numbered if you keep up this type of practice. Good thing Grand Rapids is a big city and lots of people to screw. Word will get out soon though

Great business practice. He also asked what have we ordered in the past. After telling him we just bought the house he again said you have to go out and measure your own yard.
