Both of my daughters attended/attend C Care, and I could not be happier. They provide a crazy amount of activities for the girls including art, science, cooking, and imaginative play. Each week, they bring home a folder of their creations. The teachers share videos of the kids doing yoga and dancing. They celebrate birthdays for each child as if they were the most important child in the world. When my older daughter started C Care, she didn't even know how to hold a pencil. She graduated into kindergarten this year, and she's at a first grade level. She can write short sentences, read, do addition and subtraction and even a little multiplication. My daughters even come home from school and start to pretend to be their teachers and play school. They always want to go to school in the morning. Our son was enrolled for a little over a year from 14 months to 28ish. We left due to relocating to outside the beltway and the commute was not convenient. I always felt I was dropping him off in a safe environment where Ms Inoka kept an eye on everything. They focused on child development and learning and my son was learning things ahead of my friends' children. read more

My wife and I enrolled our first child here when he was just over 3 months old. Like all new parents, we were a bit uncomfortable entrusting our son to daycare. (I think the adjustment was as taxing on us as it was our child in a way.) However, Ms. Inoka and made my son's transition successful. They went above and beyond to calm him down when he was crying, got him to consistently feed from the bottle and gave him the attention he needed to feel comfortable. When we drop our son off he always smiles at Ms. Inoka and Mr. Manjula and starts kicking his feet. When we pick him up he is clean and happily content. Their care doesn't end there though. They helped us as first time parents by communicating reassurance, addressing our care concerns, offering suggestions and sharing our values. They also keep us informed when our son needs more of the basics, like diapers, cream, wipes and also about things like changing the nipple size on the bottles. Truly they care for both child and parent. We are very grateful, really blessed, that our child can grow up in their care and we look forward to the years to come--we wouldn't want our son anywhere else. read more

An update in response to C Care. At no time did I ever demand masks to be removed. I even said I would understand if there were times they would need to be put back on. All I asked for was your metrics for removing masking (while the rest of the country had dropped masks) which you would not provide and continued to change and got defensive about - also using the flu as a reason to keep them and metrics and recommendations that were out of date to support your decision... which you didn't like that I pointed out. I always said to you that it was your decision and I just wanted to know what you were using to make that decision so we could understand if we wanted to continue to send our kids there. I never yelled but as you made false accusations, which you have again (threatened you in email? with my questions about your policies?), I tried to reiterate my statements above which you didn't like and got defensive over bc you had no solid reasoning. Parents told me they agreed with me when I left bc they were just as confused as you all don't communicate anything - from who is leading classrooms to what you do on a daily basis. This is all about my kids. From having them be required to wear masks for no given reason to very quickly dropping us from daycare all impacts MY KIDS. My decision and ask for more information, which you call bullying, was all about how I could be more informed to make a decision for my kids. It is clearly your ego that led to your decision to quickly and without notice drop us... and your response to this review reinforces that. As a parent and in my work in education, all my interest and decisions are based around what's best for kids. You on the other hand do what's best for you. A review of your business is not defamation but a statement of facts about my experience there. Just as you are entitled to run your business as you see fit, I'm entitled to share my experience at your business. Nothing I said was false (happy to put my documentation on the table to dispute your claims) and people are allowed to share their experiences. You attacking me personally on the other hand could be looked at as defamation, but I'm not here to intimidate you as you have tried to do to us. I'm here to share my experience. I don't want another family to be caught off guard when you all get defensive and drop them bc you don't like the questions they ask. I also want them to be aware of how you manage kids behaviors that don't meet your expectations. We are happy at our new establishment and are actually grateful this happened. You clearly were never interested in hearing us or providing clarity around decisions you were making that were impacting kids. So you can try to protect yourself from reviews by attacking me all you want... speaks volumes to your character. Quick update. Our 15-month-old baby loves C Care! When we drop her off in the mornings she is so excited, kicking her legs and smiling. In the afternoons when we pick her up, she is also in a cheerful mood, happily babbling. C Care is careful with illness protocols and great with sending out important communications through the app they use. They also send updates during the day about when the baby eats and naps. We were nervous for our baby to start daycare, but have had a wonderful experience with C Care. read more

My 2 yo daughter loves Inoka and Manju who run C Care Preschool like family. She attended the in-home C Care daycare before the preschool opened and transitioned to the new school seamlessly and loves all of her new teachers too. She pulls me to the door in the morning to go to school and doesn't want to leave at the end of the day. She is loved and cared for, and learns new things every day. The staff instills a great love of learning, self-care, courtesy, and respect. The new facility is thoughtfully designed with the children in mind and it's beautiful, bright, and clean with plenty of outdoor space. I highly recommend it. At first I thought this was going to be a good decision to have my son enrolled here - they were responsive enough, had great reviews, seemed pretty clean, and still require kids to wear masks. This ideological state lasted 1.5 days and I have never been more disappointed with an establishment ever in my life. My son, like many these days, has a food allergy to dairy. After asking all the right questions about cross contamination and snack time protocols and providing necessary documents of his allergy and giving them an epipen etc. we trusted C Care to take care of my child - which was a mistake. The second day of school he had a pretty bad reaction to I don't know what as of this day. Now I know this stuff happens and they can't watch every kid at every second but it's the way Inoka handled the situation after it occurred that really is unacceptable. First, she only texted me when it happened and said he had a reaction after eating the banana I brought him from home (he eats these everyday). I then had to ask to see the rest of his face since she only texted me a pic of the corner of his right eye so I couldn't assess the severity. She told me he was fine and I had to press for a pic of his whole face and when she sent it his whole face was swollen including eyes and eyelids and he was crying and visibly upset. She never asked me to come get him and could not even pinpoint what he touched or what happened. She said she didn't know and then was SUPER offended when I asked if he was being watched at snack time to which she was like of course we watch the kids. Seems ironic then that she doesn't know what he touched or what happened then right? I then said I was going to come get him. Since this was his second day there she should've told me to come get him and make sure the allergy doesn't get worse. She had no idea what he ate or touched so instead of acting like it wasn't a big deal she should've taken it seriously. When I got there he was already sitting outside the classrooms by himself and she said it was better that he find another place since they can't deal with cross contamination. That's hilarious since they also said they have strict cross contamination protocols in place. Throughout this whole exchange she was cold, lackadaisical, and completely unapologetic. She never once said sorry this happened and hope he feels better or asked if he was ok. I then tried to have a convo with her (terrible mistake) to understand what happened and to make sure it doesn't happen to other kids and this is when she turned rude and acted like she was 2. If I didn't know she was the owner of C Care I would've thought she was there for daycare herself. She mocked me, never answered my questions, and literally mimicked everything I said like a child. I even had to ask her if she was a child since I've never had a grown adult act like this before. She was defensive and never took any responsibility for what happened to my son. Thankfully they canceled our contract because honestly after this encounter, I could never trust them again with the care of my son and after seeing how they handled this situation. Not only that, Inoka would literally grab my son out of my arms both mornings and told me to run as the best way for him to attend preschool for the first time ever after being home with us for 3 years. That may work with others but that's not the way I would like my son to go to school as he's crying and grabbing me and she's yanking him away. It broke my heart. After the first day, when we went to pick him up he said he wanted to go to target and she said no! He doesn't get any toys or presents until he stops crying when he comes to school. I didn't know him attending there meant she could tell us what to do after school and what to do with our money as well. She's wasn't warm at all and that style might work for others but not for us. And literally this was after his first day of preschool ever and being away from his parents. The school is also not cheap and requires a 3 month cancellation notice with your one year contract which is way more then other schools I researched. I am so glad we found out early how they handle children and glad we could get out of the contract asap although they still kept our registration fee of course. Really disappointed in this place and so glad that we never have to go back. My son still talks about it and says he doesn't want to go back to school and that she was mean. All my friends and family are appalled by what happened and assure me other schools aren't like this to which I've already found a much safer and better school more aligned to how I want my son or myself treated. read more

We started our daughter at C Care just as she had turned 1, which is a hard age for a baby to start daycare. Owner Inoka and the teachers at C Care did such a good job helping her transition; nurturing her and sitting with her as she was getting used to the new environment. She quickly started loving her new school and gets excited to go every day now. Facilities are very clean and organized and they change the babies/toddlers clothes midday to make sure they stay nice and clean. Highly recommend C Care! read more

Our son has been enrolled at C Care since he was about 3 months old (now 7 months) and we couldn't be happier. Ms. Inoka and Mr. Manju are exceptionally warm and thoughtful, and the teachers are all great (our son comes home to us in a happy mood every day). Drop off and pick up are convenient and flexible, and Ms. Inoka and Mr. Manju make just about everything pretty easy. For parents who opt in, you can see photos of your children (and others who opt in) posted to the school's social media so you can get a glimpse of what they got up to that day, and the Procare system they use communicates helpful things like feedings, naps, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. read more

Excellent preschool. They have created a safe, healthy, fun and stimulating learning environment. The staff are very dedicated and care about the kids. Our toddler is thriving after two bad experiences at other local daycares. We have seen a marked improvement in communication, problem solving, social interaction and motor skills. My son has gone to C Care since before it was a center and we have nothing but rave reviews for the owners, staff, and the quality of their facilities and care. The owners of this family business have done a great job of bringing the hands on feel of the original in-home to a larger center where they can serve more families. They strive to get the kids outside every day on the playground and continue to develop age appropriate curriculum. Our son has enjoyed this daycare since it was a cozy in home. They have transitioned beautifully to a full daycare center, and there is always something interesting happening, whether it is gardening, or art, or hanging out on the private outdoor playground. Our child is now old enough that he has transitioned to the after care program, and we really cannot say enough about the level of tutoring and private instruction that he receives. read more

My two daughters (3.5 and 5 months) attend this pre-school, and they/we really love it. The three and a half year old has been with the Center Director and her husband since she was 4 months old because prior to the center opening, they ran an in-home preschool for 15+ years. My wife and I could not trust them more with our girls. There is structure and the kids learn a lot, but the teachers here also know how to let kids be silly and have fun too :) I would definitely recommend C-Care for any family with a newborn or older. read more
