They charged anyway Get your propane else where ....everyone seems very nice except they can't keep there promises on filling your tank and empty tank fee is pure BS! Associated propane sold-out to big corp. Thompson Gas, which was the beginning of the end for us and many of our neighbors. Around March 2024 Thompson Gas un-enrolled all credit card auto-pay accounts to force those customers to re-enroll and signature accept their new "policy" that included charging customers a 1.99% fee for those using a credit card for payment. In the State of California it's to charge customers any sort of processing fee for customers who use a credit card for payment. Of course, Thompson gas phrases the fee as a "convenience" fee to shift around State laws. However, what they are doing under the guise of "convenience fee" is still illegal, using certain words doesn't mitigate the harm they are doing to customers. A "convenience fee" Is a fee that merchants are allowed to charge if credit cards were not their primary method of payment and they are making an exception for their customer, a "convenience" allowing/accepting a credit card as a non-standard payment. Associated propane required credit cards as a primary payment method for years, when Thompson Gas took over they incorporated the same payment processing method. Credit card payments have been their primary method they are not making any new "convenience" for their customers, hence they are not entitled to receive "convenience fee" for credit card payments. Further, they don't itemize that fee on your invoice! They just add it to the total when charging your credit card and send you an invoice that omits the "convenience fee". Besides harming customers with the illegal fee, they continue their libelous behavior by failing to comply with transparency merchant laws Truly a wolf in sheep's clothing operation now that a big corporation has gotten a hold of the company. If you point out the above facts, their corp rep will eventually ghost you, Kimberly in the office will get lippy and snarky with you as she tries to defend her employers egregious new billing practice. What they are subjecting Sonoma County residences too is abhorrent, any company using verbiage as a work State laws to pocket additional financial gain is not a company that is for the community!

Life Turf Landscaping - Artificial turf

Life Turf Landscaping replaced my grass with artificial turf a few years ago. At the time, they…read moretold me I should turn off the irrigation on that side of the yard, but they never clearly explained why. A few years later, I started noticing sunken areas in the turf that have now become a safety hazard because of how deep the holes are. Based on what has happened, it appears that irrigation pipes may have been punctured during the turf installation. Every time the irrigation was turned on, water seemed to wash out part of the base underneath the turf, creating large holes and unstable areas. They came out once and repaired the issue, but a few months later the holes came back. Unfortunately, no one clearly explained why this was happening or offered a permanent solution. I have tried multiple times to get them to come back and address the problem, especially since I believe this should fall under the warranty. I reached out by phone, email, and text, and they have not responded. I even offered to pay them to fix it, but still received no response. Very disappointing experience. The original installation has led to ongoing issues, and the lack of communication and follow-up has been extremely frustrating.

From the diligent follow-through by Luis, to Eric (Eric is so pleasant, and knowledgeable!) showing up (twice) to give us assessments on how/what can be done with the yard, most competitive pricing, to the hard working team of workers that worked tirelessly in the heat, showing up early, and cleaning up everyday, to delivering the final result that made our heart so happy. We are so impressed by the work ethics, professionalism, efficiency, attention to details, and great attitude of the whole team. They have wow'ed us! Our family is so happy and thankful for our beautiful yard! It has only been about a week since the work is done, and our family has been out in the yard enjoying watching our kids play ball everyday. I wish we had done this sooner! Thank you Life Turf Landscaping. We highly recommend this business and have already recommended them to our family and friends. We'd love to work with them again on our next project(s). I will try to update the review again in a year or so, to see how the turf holds up. So far, we are very pleased. Stop looking anywhere else. Give these guys a call. They're the real deal.

Very sad to have left because I have yet to find another property that is as well kept, clean and friendly. Jacqueline might be the nicest person I have ever met and it's no wonder the community is so great with her managing it. The whole team is friendly and attentive. I HIGHLY recommend compared to anywhere else in the area..trust me I looked all over.

We went and toured The Artisan on July 8th, 2021…read more The tour itself went pretty much without a hitch and the property was, for the most part, what we expected from the photos and DD prior to driving there. What happened afterwards, however, is what warrants a review and a caveat emptor for all prospective residents and tenants. The leasing manager, Jacqueline, initially confirmed--both verbally and in a hand-written notation on the marketing collateral paperwork she left me with--that a move in date for a specifically *set* and agreed-upon date was good to go and that, should I apply, those would be the terms. One day later, on Friday, July 9th, I called and spoke with Steven, a colleague of the aforementioned leasing manager. After a series of calls that day about other things related to the property and to the application, I also confirmed with Steven that the prior move-in date would be good to go and locked in at the same aforementioned rate. Cool, no issues, that sounds good. Let me officially finish my online application to lock it in. I do so that same day (Friday), only to have the previous manager, Jacqueline, email me claiming that I had misunderstood *or* that there was a glitch in the system that prevented me from moving my move-in date to that far in advance even though she had confirmed it the day before (Thursday) both in person and in-writing. Naturally, I push back, right? She still claims I misunderstood. I copy her and Greystar management with emails from her colleague, Steven, indicating that I should go ahead and apply as those very same lease terms (date of move-in and monthly rental rate) appeared to have passed the system requirements and that I was good to apply with the same confirmation. At the end of it, *my* recollection of events is put into question even though I have a non-applicant witness saying the same thing, a handwritten note from Jacqueline confirming the move-in date for August 29th, rent at 2975.10 as well as email confirmations from her colleague, Steven, all saying the same thing. The idea that a resident leasing manager couldn't or wouldn't simply cop to her mistake or own up to the fact that she made a call that was a blunder due to a system "glitch" as she finally indicates in her email but, instead, does a CYA move to imply that I am lying or that I have misunderstood is highly suspect, not to mention pretty transparent, manipulative and juvenile. TL, DR: All in all, the leasing terms (move-in date) was duly misrepresented to me, either due to user (leasing office) error, technical glitch (this is their claim) and, after I had officially submitted my application, I was informed that it was not possible to apply under those terms anymore (glitch, misunderstanding, etc.) due to being greater that 14+ days out, notwithstanding the fact that she and the "system" allowed her to do so. What's more? Greystar and the leasing office took more than 48 hours to respond to two (2) emails from me requesting a full refund of my application fee as I was promised and, as of the time of this writing, I have still not received a refund. Buyer/applicant beware: the on-site leasing team as well as Greystar "corporate" will not own up to simple (but important) clerical mistakes but will, instead, misrepresent, obfuscate, and resort to calling you a liar if you push back with evidence. And, lest you, the reader, think this is coming from some random person holding a grudge against Greystar--think again. I was the exemplar resident/tenant at one of their sister Greystar properties in the Peninsula for over two years. What a difference from property to property!
