Black salt cream latte was delicious and I recommend the cookies. Great places to sit and enjoy an afternoon coffee on the weekends

We stopped by after a productive morning grocery shopping, you know, advocating for the 'casual hang' ;) My friend had recommended this spot and we were surprised to see it quite empty on a Saturday lunch hour, perhaps because it was during spring break and people were out of town? Easier for us to get a seat! You order/pay at the counter and they will give you a number or a buzzer to bring to your table. Water, milk, creamer etc is self serve. You go up to the counter to pickup drink orders but they brought our food to our table for us. I had the Korean Fried Chicken bowl which was beautifully presented and love that the sauce was on the side. Very healthy and balanced plate with decent amounts of colourful veggies along with a healthy serving of rice and the fried chicken (delicious). There's also a private room for a party of 4+ but unsure if you can reserve it ahead of time or if it is FCFS - would be great for a girls brunch/working lunch. Love that there is plenty of free parking. My friend loves their matcha strawberry iced drink and came back just to order it again. They also have a wall selling various local artisans' goods and there were lots of cute gifts.

C Market in Coquitlam is a must-visit for anyone who loves brunch! It offers a fantastic variety of Korean-fusion dishes and creative drinks that are as beautiful as they are delicious. We stopped by for a weekday brunch and holiday drinks, and everything was amazing. ** Shincheon Chicken Waffle: The crispy and juicy fried chicken on crispy golden waffles was to die for! The golden waffles were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Bravo dish! ** Scandinavian Benedict: Perfectly cooked soft-poached eggs with incredible presentation and flavour -- now we know why this place is so popular. ** Holiday Drinks: We tried the Peppermint Mocha, Eggnog Latte, and Hot Chocolate. Each was stunningly presented, not overly sweet, and perfectly captured the holiday spirit. The cafe is cozy, bright, and clean, and dishes are prepared fresh to order. It's definitely worth the trip, even if you're not in Coquitlam. Great food and great vibes -- We highly recommend it! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: Eatery Kids: 4/5 Yay! Price: $20-$30 per person Presentation: 3/5 Parking: 3/5 Tips: * Bring your cup to receive $0.10 off. * Have Happy Hour 3-5 pm on weekdays (such as $1 off on wraps, sandwiches, and drinks). * Can easily enjoy brunch until 3 pm every day. Would I Return: Yes ‍

Apple Chai Latte with doppio (2 espresso shots)

A beautiful interior with a selection from breakfast, wraps, lunch, coffee, matcha and more! Worth the visit once. I prefer my drinks less sweet, so I always order half sweet. The art is always so beautiful when it comes out on the latte.

C Market Cafe offers a variety of foods and drinks, including brunch items, baked goods, sandwiches, and cakes. I've visited many times, and this time I wanted to try their Ube cake and Ube latte. Their Ube Latte was very delicious! The sweetness was just right, and the Ube flavor was strong. I decided to order the Ube Cake, which matched the purple color of the latte. The cake was also delicious. It was quite simple, with no filling--just sponge cake and cream on top. I really enjoyed the purple color combination. I always enjoy visiting this cafe because they offer a wide variety of drinks and foods. I can't wait to visit again.

I loved the layout and ambiance. There were lots of seating options available. We were impressed with the seasonal drinks, melon cloud latte and melon espresso. The strong melon flavor didn't overpower the coffee. Would highly recommend.

Good dairy-free mango slushie. Can't say that it was worth coming back for. Little uncomfortable with hard seats and the angle of sun without being able to draw the shades at 3 pm. Little crowded and noisy. Good that there's a cordoned off space for a party of 4+ but giant spiderweb on the door.

Hochija Latte; a caffine-less tea latte!

Wonderful study spot! It's a great space to study as it is ambient. I'm surprised that it wasn't busier- i'd assume because of it's location relative to any transit? But it helps to give the place a quaint vibe. There are outlets available at most of the tables at the side, and even a private spot to sit for a group of 4. I really enjoyed the Hochija Latte that I ordered, it wasn't too sweet and the presentation was beautiful! The barista was very kind as I didn't feel rushed at all! Overall, a good time!

A local favorite, this korean fusion café is always busy but the food and coffee does not disappoint. The schoolhouse benedict is flavoursome with plenty of savory goodness from their special bacon and a refreshing touch using crispy lettuce. The sides of pan fried spuds really completed the meal. Their KFC rice bowl is definitely something to try. A unique sweet, savory, and spicy kick to the humble chicken, fresh greens and kimchi slaw, made for an unforgettable dish.

hot black salt cream latte, carrot cake, caramel macchiato
    Suanne L.

This place has been on my list for a long time and I finally took the effort to drive all the way out to Coquitlam to try! The space itself was quite small but not loud in any way. Many of the customers were studying or working quietly, and I would imagine it's a great place to study. Interior is modern and staff was nice. We ordered a carrot cake, hot black salt cream latte, and iced caramel macchiato. The salt cream was both sweet and salty, which I liked. However, the coffee itself was too bitter and acidic side for my liking. It did balance out with the sweetness of the carrot cake though. Caramel Macchiato was quite standard and easy to drink. For the price you pay, the size of the drink is actually quite reasonable. If only this place was closer to where I live, I would visit more often!

Bibimbap Wrap, Black Pink Cake, Black Salt Cream Coffee
    Dana S.

I wanted to try this place because I thought the drinks looked great and the food also sounded good. My drink lived up to expectation but the food not quite. I ordered a bibimbap wrap, a black pink cake, and an iced black salt cream coffee. The wrap was mostly rice inside with the occasional larger bite of a vegetable. The black pink cake (chocolate cake with berry frosting and a little bit of raspberry jam) was very good in the flavour department but difficult to eat because it had just come out of the fridge and the frosting was hard. I think it would have been much nicer if it was served closer to room temperature so that the frosting could soften a bit, and the texture of the cake likely would have been better too. Their cake fridge was out of order so the cakes were being stored in the regular industrial fridge; maybe it's different when they have the use of the cake fridge. The black salt cream coffee was great! I was really happy that they could make it decaf. The most interesting part was the black salt cream, but the coffee itself was also nice and smooth. Service was okay. The person ordering ahead of me didn't speak English well and was pointing at the menu and using broken English to order, and the barista was patient and helpful with them. My order was ready pretty quickly. I was pleased by the presence of vegan options, even if I wasn't really impressed by my vegan wrap. But if you order online, it seems like there's no way to request non-dairy milk for your drink even though they have them in store, which would be annoying if you're using the online order. It's an upcharge in store, so I don't know if they'd honour it if you wrote it in. I didn't actually place my order online but was using the website to check out the menu. I was torn between 2 or 3 stars as I had the mixed experience with the food and drink, but the details are what make it a 2 for me. They don't have glasses for cold drinks or metal cutlery - it's plastic cups for the drinks and wooden spoons, and forks and knives don't even have the (relatively) eco-friendly wood option, just plastic. Not very classy for a brunch spot, and they have plates and hot drink mugs, so obviously they have the capacity to wash dishes. I also think it's silly when single-user washrooms are gendered. I would definitely give them another chance and order different things if I lived nearby, but I wouldn't make a special trip again.

    Cute little branded buns
    Stephanie G.

I came to c-market a couple times before and the food has always been very delicious. It has Korean inspired fusion food which reminds me a little of La Foret. There is about 7 groups of tables and a long stretch of tables in the middle. The space has tall unfinished ceilings giving it a warehouse but aesthetic vibes. Access to bathrooms via keys on the wall. It is a order at front and then get seated type. I only saw one set of outlets at the corner window seat. It seems they sell some branded merch, teas, Blume drink mixes and some frozen foods. I only took a quick glance so can't recall the exact items We stopped by for some burger - got the k chicken burger and the bulgogi cheeseburger. The bulgogi cheese burger came with cheese that looked like scrambled eggs? It was a bit messy to eat as the oils had separated from the cheese and rather than a cohesive cheese slice , it was also the texture of soft scrambled eggs. But the flavour combination was amazing! Decent amount of meat. The buns had the logo branded in them and came as black squid ink buns ( also la Foret vibes?) Okay, but the show stopper, so -good-you-have-to slap-the-table good was the k chicken burger !! Flavour was 10 out of 5 for me ! Evenly coated, crispy outer with juicy chicken meat in centre. The flavour had a good umami flavour , the perfect mix of tangy, mild spice, sweet and salty for a yangyum sauce - ohh gosh if they served just the Korean fried chicken with this sauce this would be my new go to place for immediately. Sometimes the yang yum sauces in other places are too sweet or too tangy but this one was absolutely the best one I've had. They were definitely a decent size but $16 for just the burger is just a bit steep, therefore one star down. But all in all, it's a nice place to hang and get good food !

Visited C Market for the first time last week in Coquitlam and tried a few menu items! what we tried: Bulgogi Cream Pasta $18.95 Chadol Beef Bowl $16 Blueberry Tart $7.75 Lemon Blue Butterfly $6.5 I really enjoyed the creamy pasta with generous bulgogi. The blueberry tart hands down was my favourite item here though! Beautifully executed, fresh, tart, and oh so creamy! Would love to come back to try more:) Follow @angelanomz on Instagram/TikTok for more!

The Japanese latte is made with coffee beans from Japan, and I'm not a coffee drinker usually so I can't comment much other than the fact it tasted mellow but had depth.
