Wanted to make a healthier choice today so I popped in to this hidden gem kinda tucked away. My son Brandon suggested I try them out and I'm really glad he did. For starters this place is really inviting, clean spacious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It seems to have started from the top, the owner James was just as pleasant, he suggested some tasty healthy options. Açaí Paradise, Strawberry and Banana Smoothie with a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was very good. Bren Appe'tit

What a beautiful place, I walked inside because I was running out of battery and Cici handled it like a pro. Told me to relax, passed the charger and suggested I make changes to their selling smoothie because she loves to add coconut water and a bit of lemon. PHENOMENAL.

I went in to get a smoothie for my mother who is in the hospital. The ladies made one especially for what I needed. They were kind and attentive to my needs. I got an açaí bowl for myself and it was delish! I highly recommend stopping by and saying hi to these ladies, grab a snack and support their small business.

Cypress Wellness Retreat is a Sober Living Home that treats Military, Veterans and Emergency…read moreResponse Workers. I spent over two months at this Sober Living Home, Sadly I can't recommend it for several reasons. First, the cost. They will tell you it is $500 a WEEK for room and board, $375 for your room and $125 for your food. Once I got there I was informed that food meant Water, Coffee and tea and paper products. If you really wanted to eat you'll be paying for it. Has often happens, most residents don't have a lot of money so it was up to two or three of us to provide most of the food. I spent about $2500 additional dollars for food for everyone on the house and another resident paid twice as much. Basically the two of us took care of the house. Secondly, treatment. They have a House Manager and a Behavioral Health Technician. There is no real face time with a clinical director or therapist, the House Manager does your intake and outtake. He just basically ask questions and completed the process online. There is some treatment. You meat with a therapist once a week for a process group.. the therapist and a local Pastor who conducts a weekly group on Spirituality were IMO the only thing I looked forward to. They also have a VA Chaplain that conducts a Mindfulness group and another facilitator that conduct a writing group. They call it OIP but it's nothing like any OIP I've done. Lastly, I feel this facility is just crossing the I's and dotting the T's as a "Treatment Facility". Recovery is a business in South Florida. It's a cycle of Rehab, Sober living and relapse. Then back to rehab and the cycle starts over. I relapsed my final week there and they tried to say I left against medical advice? Whose medical advice? I never met with a doctor or clinician when I left and the owner, house manager and BHT are not licensed. The day I left was the day I was scheduled to leave, and I have maintained my sobriety since. I do not credit Cypress, the stress of living in that facility led to my relapse. Having to pay twice for food, allowing other residents to break the rules over and over and how the house was managed led me to my relapse. I credit the treatment I got in Rehab and the Fellowship of AA for getting me over low point and today I feel great. If your a Veteran or Emergency Responder go somewhere else if your looking for sober living in the West Palm Beach area.

This was my profoundly disappointing lived experience. 1. There was no wheatgrass! 2. There were no broccoli sprouts! 3. There was no E3Live 4. Don't drink the water!!! It's dispensed full of visible sediment - only explanation provided is that the dispensers are new and staff didn't clean them properly 5. The administration and staff is comprised of FEAR-MONGERS, EMOTIONAL ABUSERS and PRETENDERS parading as healers and PROFITEERS, preying on a vulnerable population of severely ill people, dangling health in front of them like a coveted carrot. 6. During week 3 of 4 they completely flipped the highly restrictive life-saving diet protocol, citing new research on late-stage cancer from their Harvard-trained medical director (this sort of lack of consistency between staff members plagued my entire experience). The place has no leadership. But here's the most concerning part: 1.Following a 25 minute therapy session (part of the program curriculum) As he rushed me out of the office for his next appointment Mr. Andy Toman advised me to divorce my husband (also the devoted caretaker of myself and our two young children). When I expressed resistance he shot back, "Well, do you want to die?" 2. At my exit interview, Director Anna Maria Clement informed me (based upon bloodwork and the results of a 5 minute Heart Rate Variability test) that my energy reserves had been totally depleted during my time at Hippocrates and my body no longer held the capacity to heal! This of course, was due to the conventional cancer treatments I had opted into prior to my time at Hippocrates. It was a disgusting way of discarding me. Upon leaving Hippocrates and after strictly following their protocol for two months I was rushed to the hospital for the extraction of an emergent tumor and declared malnourished. I would not entrust anyone's health to these people who are "healthier than thou" and therefore, according to themselves, will never experience illness.

They maybe had last issue of people spilling or burning but you don't throw away the common sense experience of drinking out of a mug vs coffee fist in a wax lined / plastic cup. The whole experience is lost and the name means Pure Life.. this is like in nyc where all the cvs shelves are locked up because of a few criminals. Instead of dealing with the problem the problem is passed down to everyone. I went to Maman for my second cup because Puta Vida would not refill my glass cup without first putting it into another throwaway cup. The waste. Such a beautiful place and yet this one simple thing to me is away from core values of a business. My two cents .
