His team was supposed to get started at noon and they didn't show up until after 4pm. The job was only half finished but my husband paid them in full ($900). They promised to return the next afternoon (Thursday). They didn't show. Ed said they'd be there on Friday at 9am. By 11am, they still didn't arrive, so we left the fence unlatched since we had to go away for the weekend. When we returned home a few days later, the job was still incomplete (backyard was not mowed) and a giant planter on the patio was broken. Ed came back to mow the lawn on Monday and reimbursed us for the broken planter. The completed work was beautifully done, it just took too much time/energy to schedule/reschedule, and was frustrating to not be able to count on him arriving when he said he would. Ed is a nice guy when we are actually able to reach him, but the lack of reliability has made it a needlessly stressful experience.

We had a horrible experience. We hired them for a full yard cleanup before -- mow, mulch, weeding…read more-- before a graduation party. At roughly $2,000, this was not a small job. The crew did terrible work. Instead of pulling weeds, they simply buried them under mulch. They complained about picking up hedge clippings -- which is part of the actual job, you know, clean up!!! They mowed the grass so low it was scalped, and despite my repeatedly asking them to cut higher, they didn't care. We even brought out waters and popsicles for the crew, and they still couldn't be bothered to do the job right. What a joke. When I called Jamie, his response was: "Too bad, I'll pull my guys and you can finish the job." That's how the owner treats a paying customer. The icing on the cake: last year they installed a row of boxwoods that cost us thousands. One year later, as the shrubs matured, three of them turned out not to be boxwoods at all. When I called Jamie, he blamed us. I even offered to buy the replacements myself if they would just replant them. He refused and blamed us again. What a joke of a company and a joke of a man. We also paid them $1,000 to level a section of dirt and seed it with Kentucky bluegrass. We have no grass -- just dirt and weeds -- and yes, we have a sprinkler system. Photos included. To top it off, their equipment leaked oil all over our driveway and the street. They don't care. Horrible service. Shitty work. An owner who will strong-arm you, threaten to abandon the job, and blame you for his own mistakes. What a disgusting way to run a business. Do not hire this company. We are filing a formal BBB complaint and an ICE complaint.
