I've used Bergholz's twice within the last 9 months after first getting 3 other qoutes from other companies first. Bergholz's always came in as the cheapest, and the best. They can do anything anything tree related, they bring in the right equipment, the right people and get jobs that I would have thought would take hours done in a quarter of the time. He came right out on one of the coldest days of the year to get me an estimate. I had other trees that also concerned me, but his honest assessment of the trees in my back yard spared me a lot of worry and money. He helped to coordinate approvals with my community association and worked around my schedule to find the best day for the work to get done. When his fleet of trucks and equipment rolled down my street, it was quite impressive. Beyond the usual equipment, the crew came prepared with a special spider lift that fit through the narrow entry to my yard without leaving a trace. The crew worked very safely and efficiently and left my yard cleaner than it was found (minus the two hazardous trees and a new pile of fire wood that I asked them to leave behind). They did 5 trees for us. Some were removals and some were trims. I watched the whole process and it was damn impressive. The Truxton's move with the confidence and precision of years of experience. Their fees were very reasonable. I'm not joking when I say that although they weren't the cheapest, they were about $1,500 cheaper than the highest quote I got. So it's definitely worth it to get multiple quotes so you can make an informed decision. We were VERY happy with the job they did.
