My husband and I were visiting from NYC and came across CA Yoga Barre and we are SO thankful we did!! We took Courtney's hot yoga class on Friday AM and it was one of our favorite classes, ever! We practice yoga in NYC and love checking out local studios when we travel and I can't recommend Courtney's studio enough!! The space is a real vibe - it's airy and open, gets great natural light, is incredibly clean and Courtney has a killer playlist. Her class was challenging but approachable and her flows were unique and fun. The room was comfortably hot - enough to sweat and "feel" the workout but not overwhelmingly hot. The cool lavender towels and head massage during shavasanna was a luxurious bonus. We left class feeling taller, lighter and overall happier. Highly, highly recommend checking our this studio and taking one of Courtney's classes! We can't wait to come back during our next trip!

The studio is cozy yet well-equipped, featuring one spacious classroom, a small child's play area, a hostess stand, lockers, and complimentary mats and free weights. The class was full, but it never felt crowded. Nicole gave me a warm welcome with a handshake and a personal tour of the space, which immediately made me feel at home. She's a phenomenal instructor--clearly passionate about what she does and deeply invested in her clients' progress. What set this class apart was the strength-training component. Using heavier weights, we focused on core engagement while still getting that signature barre stretch. I definitely felt the burn! The intensity was just right, and I can absolutely see how this class delivers real results over time. Highly recommend!

I normally don't enjoy taking morning classes, but I will for Barre3 Old Town Scottsdale! They make it a point to know each member by name and encourage you to meet your goals (for me, it's to get stronger -- slowly -- but I'll get there!) I work up such a good sweat being there. I feel like my body is just detoxing all the bad stuff :) I normally avoid activities where I sweat/smell bad, but I really want to give it my all! :) It's a mix of cardio, pilates/yoga, and strengthening. I love the breath work portion too! Thank you, Barre3 Old Town Scottsdale, for being a safe space to get healthier!

I…read morecanceled my membership March 2025 based off experiences with other members, not the staff. I rejoined last month, May 2025. I had my first class back, Align, at a different time of day from what I would normally attend. Staff was still great & they greeted me by name when I walked into the studio. The, I don't want to use names, manager is the one that got me to sign back up. She called since they were running a special, and she wanted to see if I might want to re-join. She apologized for the experiences that ultimately made me quit. We discussed the discount options, and what kind of schedule I thought I could have if I joined back up again. I let her know that the four pack class option is best for me, as I work two jobs and do strength training elsewhere. The class was pretty full when I arrived, but I walked in and grabbed a spot in the middle of the room. My favorite spot is the back bar, it is the first location I took a class at back when I became a member and it is the spot I prefer. Class was great, although I let them know Align was a little tougher than I remembered back in March 2025. I checked in on Yelp after class, or before, and I saw some awful reviews. They are what led me to update my review. The owner is great and has been able to expand locations. She really worked with me in the past, like when I originally enrolled and was going to quit due to cost and class times. When I quit back in March they asked why, they tried to get me to come back, they offered different class options. While I was quitting, I kept thinking they were just contacting me so they would not lose a member/money. I realized they actually wanted feedback, to know why I did not feel comfortable in class and what happened to make me want to quit. I should add, when I quit there was a lot going on- someone had driven through the front entrance, so we had to enter through the back of class. I like routine and that threw everything off. Honestly, I should have paused my membership and then just restarted once everything was back to status quo. Back to why I quit- I had placed my water bottle at my spot at the bar- someone completely disregarded my spot and took it over. I felt slighted, things were already off and that was the last straw. As you can see, it was not because of staff, it was because I am particular and routine oriented. Give this place a try. If I remember correctly, the owner of this location has three other locations. That allows you to take classes at any of them, rather than just this one.

We were welcomed promptly by the front desk staff to check in. My friend received several phone calls leading up to the class to ensure she came prepared with grip socks. I however did not receive a call so was not prepared. I ended up having to buy a pair at the studio (no biggie-- I have a cute pair of socks now). I found it a little odd that socks were even needed as the studio was carpeted. I have not done many barre classes so I'm not sure if this is standard. There were several classes offered that morning, my friend and I took the 9am. There was not any sort of introduction by the instructor or overview of what the class would entail, we just jumped right into the class. It's one thing if it's a regular class, but when you're hosting an open house and looking to attract new members I would have appreciated a little bit more of an overview and a chance to connect with the instructor/studio. The music good and I definitely left feeling like I got a good workout (especially my core!) The owner was very positive and welcoming and even gifted the attendees with little mementos from their travels-- which I appreciated and thought was a nice touch :)

I like a nice sweaty hot vinyasa to get me out of my head and came for a class today and really enjoyed it. This studio is in Arcadia where a lot of things are but the studio itself is one room, a changing room outside the studio and a bathroom tucked in the back. Lockers available to store your items. No shower available. Yoga Box offers 3 free classes so I decided to take them up on the deal. I've been practicing yoga for about 25 years and have often tried different studios in this way. The first class was so so, but the teacher was nice and even gave me a new student welcome gift. She was a bit too eager to talk to me and I just wanted to practice and flow. The other issue was that I couldn't understand the instructions clearly as our teacher had an accent where I couldn't quite make out the instructions. But, she had a very nice playlist. What makes this place a bit annoying is that once they get your phone number, they have someone by the name of Emma that won't stop bugging you about signing up for a monthly membership. I don't mind actually buying some classes here and occasionally taking a class here and there but I was firm about not wanting a monthly membership (i already belong to 2 gyms) and this person couldn't take a hint, so that was a turn off. The thing that saves this place is I took a very good class with Debbie today. She gave excellent instruction, got us all sweaty and loved her Hawaii playlist. Ukulele is the way to my heart. Overall, it was an ok studio, give a try as they do give you 3 free classes and decide for yourself if you want to keep coming here.
