Yay for the $25 unlimited week membership! It's been a minute since I've done hot yoga & by "minute," I mean YEARS. The first class nearly did me in & I kept hopping in & out of the room, for a breather. B/c it's 105-106 degrees. Bonus: teacher hands out ice cold towels throughout class. How generous! My second class felt so much better, like I could tolerate that intensity of heat better. & the teacher was so sweet to notice my empty water bottle & filled it up for me. The ONLY thing that's a little challenging is that, b/c there are so many restaurants in that little plaza, the parking is seriously bananas around dinner time - like from 5:30-7:30 so I recommend getting there early! Overall, this place is clean, friendly, & a fantastic hot yoga workout. read more

I Googled hottest yoga studio in Phoenix five years ago and discovered Radi8. Was away for a year and a half, was back within 24 hours of being back in town. It's meant to be a mental challenge, as a mix of balancing, vinyasa, and stretching-- you're reminded you don't have to do it all and to take breaks when needed. Much different than Bikrim, killer playlists, cold towels, VERY VERY hot, which keeps people who love HOT yoga coming back for years. This flow+heat might not be for everyone, I see people complaining that it's too hot in reviews, which is a reason why looking at reviews before attending new studios are helpful. If you like the heat, need the humidity, enjoy a set sequence, appreciate killer playlists, looking for a 7:30 pm class during the week, check this place out! They occasionally offer inversion workshops and kiddo yoga with Jacob and Alex Daffner who own Spiritually Fit Recovery up north. I have been going to hot yoga 4-5 days a week for the past 3 years, and I have literally never experienced a place like this. It was borderline dangerous the amount of heat that was in that room. Multiple people were leaving from pure exhaustion, the yoga instructor would randomly slap a cold towel on your back when you aren't expecting it, the bathrooms were gross, and overall the place did not feel sanitary/vented. I am also not the only one who felt this way - I rushed to grab a smoothie from a nutrition store down the street after feeling so dizzy after class, and they confirmed that so many people come to them after class desperately needing electrolytes or post workout recovery. PLEASE lower the heat - this cannot be safe. read more

I love Radi8 deeply. I am a yoga instructor and fitness instructor and I am so deeply attached to this practice. This is the only way I, personally, can meditate, check out, and feel challenged - it's a moving meditation and the physical challenge of it shuts off the anxious part of my brain (personally) - it is straight up euphoria to experience a Radi8 class for me. Every class can be different. I've struggled immensely, and a day later I've crushed it effortlessly; yet the flows are exactly the same every time. Best thing I've ever utilized for my anxiety. In 20 years of practice, I have never left a class early, until today. This place is so bizarre. The format is not yoga. Mindfulness / body-mind connection and spirituality totally was totally absent. It was a steamy hot mess of fast-paced poses without any intention brought into the form by the instructor. Holding a pose for five seconds is ridiculous. Half the time the cues made no sense, but then you were on to the next terrible set. read more

Seeing that my last review for Radi8 was over four years ago, I think it's time for an update... My feelings for This locally owned business have not changed... this five star yoga studio has kept me sane these past few years and I am super grateful. While I typically go to early morning classes (5:30am on weekdays or 7am on weekends), I appreciate that there are classes all day long! Admittedly I do hit the snooze button some days and if I can make up for it with a mid-day or afternoon class, those are always fabulous too. No matter the instructor, or if you go to a Radi8 hot class or flow, you are guaranteed a welcoming and warm atmosphere to practice. I always walk out of class feeling so much better than when I walked in. It really is like moving meditation, music and sweat therapy all in one, and it is a great way to reset and clear your mind / open your heart. The front retail area has super cute and useful items and they also have hydration tablets which I recommend. As an Arizona native, I can hands down say that Radi8 is the ABSOLUTE BEST Hot Yoga studio in Town!!! After doing hot yoga on and off for almost 20 years, I found this wonderful studio and quickly became a regular member. The practice has been life changing to say the least. I have found many physical benefits with the practice, but the mental ones greatly outweigh everything (clarity, focus, calmness, inner peace). Radi8 is exceptionally clean and the men's locker room is nicely outfitted with showers. They have classes all day to accommodate even the busiest schedule. Radi8 has some of the BEST yoga instructors in town ; they all lead with their own music and style, which makes the set sequence engaging each and every time. The staff is just as friendly and always has a great attitude. Whether you are a beginner, or seasoned yogi, there is something for everyone at Radi8. Christina, the owner, has not only created an amazing space to practice yoga, but has created a a real community. We all come from different walks of life, but we all share the space together during yoga and let it all out on the mat. It does not go unnoticed the amount of time, effort, and hard work it takes to consistently bring this level of excellence to Radi8 and for the community. I've been practicing yoga for over 20+ years now and what I can say is that this place is just OK in my book. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but it was just not working for me after 2 visits. Let me explain to you my reasons. I got the new student special, which is $20 to practice all you want for 8 days. I do like that they have this special so you can get to see if this place is a good fit. My yoga practice started with Bikram so hot yoga has a special place in my heart. The issue here is that it is so hot outside already (around 100F) and cranking the heat higher inside just makes the practice so miserable for me. Maybe it works for others, but I know my limit and this was sheer torture. Don't get me wrong, I like to work hard in yoga, but this was over the limit for me. The other thing that I didn't particular like was the attitude when I checked in. Their policy is to not let students in until 10 minutes before class and they are super strict about this and not that nice about it. When I walked in a bit earlier, the person at the front, wanted to me to wait outside. I asked to buy some water, but still felt like I was not supposed to be there. What's the big deal in having some students wander around before class starts? Last thing that I really didn't like about this place is when they were handing out cold towels in class, both times I was here, they just kept passing me and did not give me towels. I basically had to assert myself twice to get towels. That just annoyed me that they kept overlooking me. Overall just an OK experience. I def got in a workout, but it isn't the way I like to get things done. I doubt I will be back here, but never say never... read more

It's extremely hot. They play loud music. It's a set sequence. Usually starts about 5 mins late and gets done about 5 mins early. If that's not your style don't come and complain. Just go somewhere else. read more

Beautiful one room studio filled with the hot variety for the yogi searching for heat. Came through the week and found the studio offering an incredible rate for 8 days of yoga for $18! The staff and studio manager everyday were warm and bright. The safety procedures that I appreciated without delay were daily tempt checks, registration required for all classes, designated spaces for practice, masks at all times except when on the mat, thorough cleaning after every class and a pause on entrance when the transition of exiting and entering class ends. Loved the vibe and energy, the variation of class offerings and the instructors were all incredible. Creative corner to have a studio, between a brunch and drink restaurant and a coffee shop that always was full with clients. I felt safe when I visited each time and so refreshed after each class, truly what any hot yogi needs to find! read more

I've only been practicing yoga for about one year, but I am very glad I started my journey at Radi8. From the moment I walked in the staff was very friendly and informative, it felt like home immediately. Yes, the flow is basically the same every time, but as a beginner, it was perfect for me to learn all the different poses and what they were called very quickly. There's some thing about practicing in that level of heat that really just works for my body and mental connection. Plus I've made so many friends and love the workshops they put on! I wish I could give them all 5. But for about the 10th time in a row class is starting late. The door is locked until about 10 minutes before class. So even if you're about 20 minutes early, you're either waiting in your car and or waiting in the cold. Thankfully the other businesses will let you use the restroom even though you're a customer of Radi8. Of course it takes more than 10 minutes for everyone to get checked into class and settled in so.. class always starts late. Otherwise the flow is great. I love hot yoga, have been practicing for about 8 years and have tried ~6 hot yoga studios around the valley. Overall, I find it hard to get that beloved zen/centered feeling from radi8 classes for a few reasons: - the sequence moves SO fast. If I'm truly using my breath to guide my poses, I fall way behind the rest of the class and the prompts of the teacher. It feels pretty rushed. - students often get up off their mats, leave the room, come back in, etc. during class which can be really distracting - the music is so loud it's really hard to hear the teacher even when they are shouting across the studio - they don't let students in the building until 10 min before class, so it's a bit of a rush to claim a spot in the studio as soon as they open the doors - the room is almost always packed. you're usually less than a foot from the person next to you - it's not uncommon for students to bring their phones into the studio and be texting during class (it's happened every time I'm there) Also, since they don't open the studio doors until right min before class, by the time everyone gets settled and the teacher is ready to start, it's like 5-10 min past. So the classes sometimes end up being 50 min instead of 60. I will say the staff have always been very nice. Also, I love the online scheduling and the fact that I can text them with questions. I also love the variety of times they offer! If you're a hot yoga fanatic, it's still worth giving them a try to see if it fits your vibe. read more

You'd think you would feel so wiped after a super hot yoga class but I always feel so good after! The good: great workout and lots of classes at convenient times. The bad: teachers don't perform poses so a new student would be lost, some of the teachers drop the cold towels on your face, they make you wait outside until 10 min before class which is super hot in the summer and causes class to start late. I never thought I would be giving this place a review but I guess I should after practicing here for around 6 months more than a year ago. I have only been back twice since I left and both times were clear reminders as to why I changed studios and why I have not been back. Things to consider about this place are the unwelcomeness from some of the staff, don't get me wrong, there's some kind souls working here, but not many. The heat is intolerable, really... it is, my face feels like it's being hit by a hairdryer all the time and the humidity is disgustingly high, some areas of the studio have literal rust from the high humidity. The heat has to be unsafe, and I didn't know that until I found the true purpose of yoga is not to try to survive a class and finishing a class should not feel like an accomplish. Products offered in the restrooms are very generic and cheap, they definitely are full of chemicals and unhealthy. Speed in class if fast, I mean... FAST, there's no philosophy behind getting in funny shapes on a plastic rug. I thought Bikram yoga was too much but it wasn't until I tried it that I realized I could do bikram's sequence any day and feel better doing it than doing the Radi8 flow. Lastly like other reviews say, staff is not very nice. Specifically Tiffany who not only I found rude in the few encounters we had but in one of the few classes I took from her she mention she had permission to call people out if they smelled bad which I get it, but there's ways to approach things and that's not one of them. Pros: Incredible workout, you sweat out literally every single thing you've put in your body in the past month, good music, cold towels, nice people Cons: It is like doing hot yoga in a sardine can. TOO CROWDED! You can't even practice your flow and stretch your body without worrying about touching someone. The instructors are too quiet and there is no room to correct you or help you improve. Same flow every single class. They do have technical workshops on the weekends, which I have yet to try. Overall: I'll be back, great workout, but don't enjoy doing super hot sweaty yoga six inches away from people. read more

I tried a month and found that the flow was almost exactly the same every time I went. This is the first negative, one flow style... The room is hot which is nice, but if you don't have an extreme heat tolerance it's overwhelming. Facilities are often gross with people wearing outside shoes into the studio and dirt and debris is on the floors. For these reasons I wanted to end my membership, so I contacted the front desk to do so. The worker was new and she didn't know how to cancel it so she assured me she would ask. Come to find out it never actually was cancelled. That's fine I think. I never came back after my month so logically the managers would recognize this and refund me. No, the exchange was accusatory and ultimately boiled down to just ignoring my request for a refund and my request to cancel my account. Hopefully, this will get through to her... ironically, their email for such matters entails the word "karma." read more

I'm genuinely concerned for the health and safety of the practitioners at this studio. As a trained Bikram teacher, a style of yoga known for its high heat and intensity, I'm well taught in what is TOO HOT for the human body. The humidity of the class was absolutely too high and resulted in the whole class on the floor, sitting out of the postures. There was no temperature control of the room, and instead they throw you cold wet towels which only shocks the body more. As a yogi it is hard for me to write such a negative review within this community but I sincerely hope something is done about this. read more

It was extremely hot and the yoga sequence was not traditional. I don't want to listen to rap during my yoga practice. The music is off putting. I would not recommend for traditional practice. I love hot yoga in general. This is the worst hot yoga studio I've been to. Its a hot room, but not much yoga going on. Teacher was on her phone most of class, gave zero instruction, threw the cool towel, offered no modifications, and I could not hear half of what she was saying. They do not wait for the room or bathroom to clear before mopping, so you're walking through strong chemicals after class. Gave me headache. read more

This place is my new favorite studio!! I am so happy yoga is back and that I found this place! It's very cute, very clean! It's great! They have a REALLY cute selection of yoga/lounge clothes, accessories, jewelry, hydro flasks, mats, etc! Everything! It's all very cute stuff, amazing selection and they run deals/sales! The covid rules are very simple. Don't walk up until the door is Open. That's how you know it's time to geIt's always 10 min before class. With covid, they have to clean and make sure it's ready so you cannot linger in the front. They'll get in trouble and have to close down, I've seen cops check up here myself, please don't wait in the front!:( Just wait in your car:) Wear your mask the entire time, unless you are on your mat. They take your temp and it only takes two seconds. Very easy check ins! I started off with the $18 for 8 days and it's a great deal!! They'll advise what package is the best deal for you based on how often you plan on going :) The teachers here are ALL incredible!! There won't be anyone you don't love and you will LOVE every practice! It is very consistent! While it's hard to choose, my absolute favorite is Cristina!! My other favorite is Willo too, but EVERYONE has been fantastic and perfect! They are all very welcoming, encouraging, sweet, & kind. I know most studios have kind, sweet teachers, but here they're more personal. It's a good mix of beginners to experts! Which is so nice, so encouraging and the practice is still kept consistent. Initially intimidating but don't let your imagination get the best of you, it's 100% worth the try! And once you do you'll be hooked! Music is fun and current, instructors are caring, descriptive and motivating, studio is clean and has all you need to freshen up after your without. The classes are the same flows each time so you know exactly what to expect. What you'll learn, is how your attitude, diet and mindset effect you in each class and that's the most rewarding aspect of working out here. Radi8 is a culture. I've NEVER experienced something like this anywhere! 1.There was no parking so I had to call to be told to park around the neighborhood and walk there 2. I got there 10:09 and the kind woman at the front let me know they usually start late and class had just started so I had time.... Class ended at 10:53 meaning it was less than an hour long, as advertised. 3. I was enjoying my practice until I head the instructor (Tiffany) say with frustration, loudly, and kind of catty say something along the lines of "if you're leaving my class don't complain about it being hot and the music being too loud I know that tell me something I don't know" took me completely off guard and made me think "why is she being mean to someone who's probably having their first experience here" like me. I had the same thoughts when I came into the class thank god I didn't give feedback. After the class came with super aggressive energy and raising her voice to not come to her class to write a review and email to the girl who gave feedback who I spoke to after because I wanted to let her know I understood how she felt and agreed that was rude. My yoga practices end so peaceful and happy and I still feel so unsettled and probably going elsewhere today to make me feel better. I hope Tiffany has a better day. Disappointed in class today. I've had some good experiences here with other instructors but not today. I tried to explain to Tiffany/manager but she didn't want to hear it. I've taken several yoga classes and I'm all for loud music and sweating it out but we have to hear the cues for the poses to be able to do that. As I looked around the packed class it seemed like no one could follow so they were doing there own thing and looking around also. Sadly I didn't get much zen out of this class for a $20 drop in. I will go to one of the many other yoga studios out there that actually care that you've had a good experience. Just a suggestion...if your voice is not clear and strong maybe use a microphone or turn down the music and use better management skills. Namaste read more

After I posted that I had come here, my friend said she'd heard a lot about it - that it gets packed and it's very hot. I read the description and yes, it's very hot (100+ degrees). I've done it before, but I was surprised that when I entered, the floor was completely wet from being mopped. The flow itself was guided for a couple of rounds then we did a few rounds on our own. I personally didn't prefer this format and didn't feel like I did much movement. Everyone was in excellent shape here, so there's something to it. read more
