The staff were all super helpful at first. But then came the subcontractors. One bailed on us, and the actual installer made a mess of the cabinets and left without finishing the installation. He has been unreachable by phone ever since. We hired a contractor independently to come look at reinstalling appliances for us and he pointed out that there were plumbing issues left unresolved that would have damaged our cabinets if we leave it as is. At no time did Cabinets to Go tell us we needed to have a plumber come to review things before installation and we would have expected a reputable general contractor to realize that these issues existed. I have now had cabinets installed for nearly two weeks without a functional sink or fridge because no one will come out to attach them. We still don't have a date on when our countertops will be installed. Cabinets to Go basically responded by saying it isn't their job to make subcontractors do their work, and we are left with an unfinished kitchen--no functional sink, dishwasher, and a refrigerator that is not reconnected to a water line. At no point did C2G tell us we would need to outsource work on our own prior to installation, and now we are stuck without a kitchen. We naturally expected a functional kitchen would be the end result of thousands of dollars that we spent with the company, but are now being told that we will have to source our own contractors to complete the installation. At this point I wish we just had our old kitchen because this isn't worth it. read more

I am somewhat knowledgeable about kitchen cabinets as I worked in a kitchen department in the 80s, where we purchased stock cabinets in 1992. Well, the hubby and I are in the middle of doing a house remodel. Again. We had a little info on what RTI cabinets were and saw the CabinetsTOGO billboard and decided to check them out. We were greeted by Emil, who was very personable and experienced. He designed a kitchen for us and we picked out the white shaker. We were very impressed by the quality! We ordered, picked them up and put them together. They were easy to assemble. They were actually kind of fun to put together. They arrive within a week at the store. Any questions, Emil was quick to respond. I don't understand the negative reviews made on here. Seriously, this is a great way to save a lot of $$$. On my first visit to the Monroeville store I was told most customer orders made by Thursday had their cabinets delivered the next Tuesday. i was also told this by another sales agent when I called four weeks later. Four weeks after ordering my cabinets I have yet to hear they were delivered. I was told could have a contractor measure for installation of my cabinets for $100.00. After paying the charge for measurement and beginning my purchase I was then told they don't provide installation for my 2 cabinets. I was quoted two different gross prices for the same cabinet even after I was informed they charged a different price for shaker style and the traditional. I received the worst customer service including deceitful information, no follow up on any of my visits and their failure to deliver my cabinets. read more

Please do not use this company. The employee did not know his product and ordered us the wrong cabinets. They were delivered late only to find a set of cabinets were not include. After paying for delivery we still had to go and pick up the missing cabinets ourselves so they would be here in time for installation. Then we find they gave us a returned sink from Omaha that had been returned. Once again we had to drive it back to the store and return when the new one came in. They promised granite installation within 3 weeks. It will be 7 instead. Very unprofessional from beginning to end. Please go elsewhere. read more

I needed a very small "kitchenette" sized cabinet grouping for an investment beach house in Florida. I called the Murrysville Cabinets to Go and relayed to the associate of my time constraints and that it was the utmost importance that if I came in to order, I needed to receive the cabinets in a reasonable and customary amount of time, due to my house being offered for rent in A few months . I was assured they were in stock. And believe me, if they were NOT in stock, I would have went elsewhere. So we went in to the Murrysville store, met with an associate And it literally took 20 minutes to order a straight line of 4 upper cabinets and 2 lower, no corners, no windows, just a simple plan. Paid in full. Was told they were in stock And that they could ship them to Florida. So forward to the approximate time for arrive to the Florida store. I call for pick up and I'm told that they all came in except one cabinet, the largest and the "main" cabinet of the 101 inches of cabinets. I was told they were out of stock (which they told me at the Murrysville store they were "in stock") and that it would be delivered sometime beginning of August on a ship from Asia. I agreed I could wait a month. BUT then I thought, hmmmm, how come the ordering store didn't call me, so I checked my email. My email, from them, stated the missing cabinet was ordered from Asia, but might take up to 6 months to get here. So yes, I did get an email... which I rarely check, but NO PHONECALL. You would think that since a main component was missing, I would have had a call. Nope. So I call them, not only could they not answer why I was sold a cabinet they didn't have but that the manager wasn't responsible for what happens in the warehouse. Oh you aren't responsible? isn't that where the cabinets that you sell people come from? Is it your policy to not sell cabinets that are not in stock? So now I have a kitchen that is missing a cabinet (for the next 6 months maybe) that (the beach unit) is currently being marketed for vacation rentals starting in September. Meanwile at the Cabinets to go store in Florida, where I had my order shipped... I ordered 2 more (exact same size of space) kitchenettes, BETTER DESIGN, competent designer, great communication and the order went through and the cabinets were delivered. Do your due diligence and make sure you take the time to read reviews before you shop at this store. I learned a hard lesson. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My husband and I live in NY and bought a home in Meadville,PA. We needed new kitchen cabinets so through an internet ad I saw Cabinets to go. The advertised cabinets, flooring and counter tops and offered a discount on bundling. I thought it was worth looking into and drove 1 hour and 45 mins to check it out. That when we met Bill ... it's clear that Cabinets to go does not want my business. Everything was negative ... floors - no we probably can't find an installer ... cabinets ok but we probably can't find an installer ... counter tops - no you have to have a minimum of 25 feet. During a time where businesses are struggling Cabinets to Go clearly only want $20,000 jobs. I'd run if I were you. read more

These cabinets are always on sale for a reason. Their quality is horrific. Many cabinet doors arrived cracked, broken, or chipped. Once installed, all it takes is an accidental soft tap with a plate as you are emptying the dishwasher to leave a dent in your new cabinets. We (2 careful adults who paid for these cabinets) have had our cabinets for almost a year now and there is paint chipping off more than half of the cabinets and dents in all of the uppers. It is incredibly disappointing that our new kitchen cabinets have suffered this much already. The staff is incredibly hard to reach about any issues and replacement doors took many weeks to arrive. If you are looking to have a farm sink, be aware that the farm sink base cabinet is not sized appropriately and comes with no supports and you will have to buy, build, or find your own. You will also have to cut this cabinet down to size, which causes chips in the weak "wood." Our kitchen is a small, galley kitchen 10 x 12 and we spent 20,000 for our remodel with Cabinets to Go. We wish we would have chosen Ikea cabinets for our kitchen and hired a contractor to install. We are very disappointed customers. read more

Four months ago, I paid for two accent panels which still have not delivered. All my emails requesting an update went unanswered. When I call, still cannot get any kind of answer on delivery. Took forever to get a quote. after that cabinets came in and i had the wrong color for two cabinets , they kept pushing me off saying they didnt know when they were going to be available . Just worst Customer Service i ever dealt with. Measuring guy messed up measuring. Designer messed up the design and didn't order stuff, and half the stuff she did order was wrong. Placed order of new stuff and a "computer glitch" delayed it another week. And all they can say is "sorry" that's it. Not how can we make it better or anything. If I could give zero stars I would...we called in advance and made an appointment. We walked in at the scheduled time and the two sales people closest to the door were with customers. Neither one acknowledged our presence. A third sales person appeared from the back with customers. He at least said hello to us. We stood in the middle of the showroom between these three sales people for about 10 minutes. No one asked our name or even a statement such as 'we will be with you as soon as we can...' In the meantime, another couple walks in the door, at the same time, one salesperson is finishing with his customer. He starts talking with the couple who had just walked in the door and totally ignored us. Mind you, we called in advance and had an appointment. ZERO for customer service, go elsewhere!! read more

At first the team at the Monroeville, PA store seemed great but once my order had issues they apparently washed their hands of my order. A piece was all of the sudden out of stock and delayed the order by one week. After finally receiving the cabinets one was out of square and the channels had to be hand chiseled out because nothing lined up. The locking mechanism would not lock and would need to be manually fixed to make it remotely stable. I called customer service and they assured me a new cabinet would be shipped immediately. After waiting a week to receive the replacement I called again and it was delayed another week. At this point, over a month into the process I still don't have a replacement. Customer service kept reiterating damage and quality issues are in the terms and conditions and they are not liable for delays or problems nor will they accept a return after the product is removed out of the box. My countertop installer will arrive tomorrow and I am going to have to pay a contractor additional money to make what I have work so I'm not another week or two behind. read more

My fiancé and I walked into Cabinets To Go with the intention of getting a kitchen quote on white shaker cabinets and seeking out more information. Bill, the sales associate, was very rude and condescending. When we discussed that we had a layout already decided, he laughed, became very defensive, and "highly recommended" we used his expertise with designing cabinets instead. Emil at the store made several recommendations during the plan review that were incorporated into the final plan. He calculated the order and made suggestions for financing and made the process very simple. He profusely apologized for a recent computer system upgrade that would make the delivery of the cabinets take an extra week. When the cabinets arrived he made sure to contact us and arranging for their delivery. The cabinets themselves were very easy to assemble with the exception of a corner base "Lazy Susan". If you order this cabinet make sure you go to 'YouTube' and watch the video or expect to take several hours to accomplish this simple task. During installation, I made several changes to the plan to accommodate a unique design. The staff, Emil , Alex, and crew were there to answer questions and get needed pieces ordered rapidly. Again they called as soon as they arrived. A kitchen remodel can be very frustrating and stressful. They people at 'Cabinets To Go' know their stuff and make the planning, ordering, and delivery very stress free. read more

My husband and I have been looking to totally remodel our kitchen for a few years now. We have struggled with the design process on our own so we decided to ask for a little help. The two of us stopped in at cabinets to go in Monroeville, we met Alex who helped us tremendously!he walked us through the different styles, colors, and quality of his product. After our initial visit he told us to take our design home and tape off the floor to check the design, thankfully we did. After making dimension changes ,Alex did a new design listening to all of our thoughts and requests. Its amazing. i ordered cabinets in October of 2020. No Pun intended (2020). i picked them up in January 2021 and began to install them the following week. After assembly i discovered a door was missing. i called the store and Dave suggested making sure there were no other missing items. This is a renovation so there was no rush to complete the kitchen. The following week after finishing assembly i called the store to order another door. They were very helpful and said it would be in the end of the month. When i began the install the Layout they designed was out of alignment with the window. I called they said i was correct. I could bring the cabinets back but there is a restock fee and i needed the original boxing. Since i disposed of the boxes i shifted cabinets to a different arrangement to center the window and now had 2 extra cabinets to put into the garage. I called in Feb they said its still on back order. I called in March they said it was still not in. I called in April and spoke to the manager Kennedy Hause. Politely explained to me their policy is to wait on a shipment from the vendor who happens to be in china. i felt a single door was an impossible order from the distributor so i asked them if they had any complete cabinets. She replied yes they are in stock in the warehouse. After threatening to write this review she decided to obtain one. As she whined you know this is coming out of our pay checks. WTH its not free to me. It came in Dave checked it it had a damaged door. I asked if he could reorder and he did. The third cabined arrived in May again with a damaged door. No i had to again wait on the distributor for a door in August. Feeling this was a clandestine situation i called today 6/21/21 and just ordered another cabinets with Kennedy and my paycheck. Our contractors liked working with the product saying they were easy to assemble & we are happy with the color and look.... BUT... we have been waiting for more than 2 months for missing pieces from our order which has proven costly for our renovation. For many weeks the only answer we have been given is "we don't know where they are & corporate won't give us the tracking number for us to look it up!" Seriously? So in summary; good product when/if you are not on a timeline & you don't need all the cabinets you ordered & paid for. Maybe order more than you need & pray you get enough to complete your project? If the cabinets weren't actually good I would've given 1 star. Almost half of my order was wrong size, color or damaged. Some of it didn't come in at all yet. The salesman I worked with was unbelievably arrogant and at times downright rude. I went here on a recommendation that the cabinets are nice and a good price. That much was true, but now I wish I had waited and spent a little more money to make the project go a little more smoothly and not ruin it with shotty customer service. read more

We found cabinets we really liked and provided them with the specs our contractor gave us, but they didn't order the correct sizes and number of pieces we needed. They didn't charge a restocking fee for the wrong cabinets, but we had to pay more once they ordered what we actually needed. I would have preferred to know the total cost at the time we made our decision and the delay in the project is inconvenient for us and has disrupted our contractor's schedule. read more

We had an issue with our countertops going into backorder and causing a delay in installation, and they upgraded our countertops at no additional charge and expedited delivery and installment to be sure they were done before the holidays. Josh at the store helped us with our design and it turned out great. We bought the victorian ivory cabinets. Everyone that comes to our home says our kitchen is gorgeous and looks like it came out of a magazine. I've had the cabinets for about 2 years now and no issues. Do not let these other reviews deter you.The other people that wrote reviews for this location didn't have the cabinets installed, only one person did. All these cabinets are made overseas and sometimes they will not have what you need in stock or at the warehouse in California. If you are looking to save a buck, you should look into Cabinets To Go. The quality is very good and comes with a warranty. It took us about 4-6 weeks to get our cabinets in once we ordered them. Prior to starting our project, we put all the cabinets together ourselves because it was simple to do and saved us money with our contractor. This was a very good thing because we did find some minor damages and we were able to get them corrected before we demolished our kitchen. It takes time to order cabinets and have them delivered without damages. I work in the logistics industry and it is extremely common for cabinets to be damaged in transit on a truck. The cabinets are usually handled multiple times which increases the probability of damages. This is not the store's fault, it is the nature of how they are shipped. My advice is make sure you take your cabinets out of the box and review for damages at least 2 weeks before starting your project. We had a fridge panel arrive damaged by Fedex 3 times. The folks at Cabinets to Go were very friendly and easy to work with in getting a replacement sent. The quality is good. If you plan well, you should not have any issues. The other quotes we received were double and the quality was about the same. I would not go with the countertop partner, Vangura. Way too expensive. I would definitely consider getting other products here again. The value was great and the end result was stunning! read more

The cabinets are beautiful and well made except that all the parts were not with the order. Not delivered in time as promised. The parts needed seem to be proprietary and cannot be bought anywhere else. Good luck trying to get them delivered to you. Customer service in the Monroeville store is just about non existent. They tell you they will call you back when you call with a problem and never do. I don't think they really care about customer service or satisfaction. This was my first and last experience with Cabinets to Go. I ordered a butcher block countertop back in November. I was told it would be in on Dec. 5th. A few days later I never heard from them. I called and was told that it wasn't delivered but is now scheduled to come in on January 5th. That day came and went and I never heard anything. I called them a few days later and I was told that possibly Feb. 5th however, they couldn't guarantee it would ever come in. At that point I asked to have my money refunded. It is now the middle of February and I got my credit card statement. They never refunded the money. I called them and spoke with Alex. He looked into my account and said, and I quote, "It was scheduled to be refunded. I'll call our Accounting Department to see why they haven't refunded this. I'll call you back by tomorrow at noon." So here it is tomorrow at 1:30pm and I never heard from Alex. I called the store 3 times, selected the option to speak with a salesman and NOBODY PICKED UP. On my 3rd attempt I chose the option to reach the National Customer Care. I spoke with a lady by the name of Dee. She looked into my account and said there was NEVER a refund processed. She asked me to hold while she called the store. When she got back on the line she said that she had spoke to ALEX! She told me that Alex was now going to put in for my refund. YES, that's right, the refund he told me yesterday that he had already placed 1 1/2 months ago. Dee was to send me the confirmation email that Alex would receive once he placed the refund. A few minutes later my phone is ringing...it's Alex. He wants to know what my charge card numbers are so that he can now refund me. But wait, if he had refunded me back when he said he did 1 1/2 months ago, and was calling their accounting department to see why they didn't refund me, why is it he has to call me to get my card numbers again. Because Alex doesn't do his job! I still have not received my email confirmation. I will be calling my charge card company to see if he even submitted. STAY AWAY from this company. read more
