However, it contains a water soluble glue which makes this impossible as the stone falls off the mesh backing when it gets wet. I was NOT made aware of this when I purchased it and Prosource denied knowing the issue even existed until 2 months in on a phone call with Ed the showroom manager, who was dumb enough to admit they knew it was an issue. I spent countless hours calling and emailing both the manufacturer, Topcu, and ProSource attempting to learn a way to be able to install the product as my wife and I both really like it. I even purchased 3 additional new diamond blades in a vain attempt to cut it, because "this has never happened before". Then what I was told, and I still cannot believe they were stupid enough to suggest this, was to remove each individual stone from the backing, cut it wet, then glue it back on. After a ridiculous amount of back and forth the final answer the manufacturer said to do would cost more than the product itself did, take countless hours of work, be nearly impossible to do correctly and completely make the product un returnable. For an alleged high end product that cost over $300 per box. ProSource refused to take back the product except under unreasonable circumstances, only taking back non cut and non broken sheets, a 25% restocking fee AND my paying the freight back to the manufacturer in Georgia. The manufacturers rep admitted to me on multiple occasions that the situation was ridiculous but still I could not get an acceptable resolution from them either. I guess they expected me to lay down and take the abuse. Not this guy. I fought and I won...just like I told them I would. Now I get to warn you. Who is dumb enough to use a water soluble glue on a product that must be cut wet? Topcu. Who is both dumb enough to sell that product to consumers without telling them? Dave at ProSource Monroeville. Who is dumb enough to insist this has never happened before? Todd at ProSource Monroeville and Brian at Topcu. Who is dumb enough to admit this does happen and I was lied to repeatedly for over 2 months? Ed at Prosource Monroeville. Who was smart enough to give me my money back? PNC. You would be better off buying your supplies at a flea market. But if you want to buy this crap they sold me check the usual spots where people sell stuff, I will be listing it for sale there until someone buys it, which I expect will be a very long time.

I liked the fact that they sent a sales representative to my home instead of me having to drive over there. Shannon Davin came to visit me and brought an array of samples. She let me keep one of the sample boards for a few days until I was certain of the color and texture I needed. It is very hard to tell the difference in color between the small swatches and the large one on the cover board. Some of them are very close in color that it is hard to differentiate. Nevertheless my husband and I finally chose a good neutral color that would blend with my existing carpeting. After a few hiccups along the way prior to the install, Frank and Dominic came to my home early on the date scheduled to start the install. I was impressed with the fact that each of them were able to tackle different rooms to get the job completed quickly and efficiently. They use what is called a "power stretcher" to help insure the new carpeting does not "bunch up". I was told if that should happen within a certain time frame then they would come out and restretch the carpet for free. They honored my request to not allow threads to fall within my air ducts which I had recently had cleaned and they did vacuum them as well as the whole house to insure everything was picked up. I observed how they used a special glue underneath and tool to make each part of the new carpet install appear seamless. What did concern me was the fact that one of them was "pattern" cutting a few pieces of my new carpet using the shape of the pulled up carpet out on the street. They were do this to make the carpet a bit larger so they could adequately cut away the excess. After the install was complete I was thoroughly pleased with the hard work they did however after they left I noticed that one of my basement doors could not shut properly due to excess carpet. Having called the company, they were quick to send out another installer who went out of his way to make sure that problem was remedied and even took the time to make sure the door to my garage was also not blocked. I am completely pleased with my carpeting, however, after I went outside I saw carpet threads all over my property and all over the street where they had done the pattern cutting. A neighbor even called me to complain about this mishap because she was afraid to take her dog out for fear of her swallowing the small pieces. I really wish they would have done this pattern cutting in my garage instead. I would have gladly given them permission. Now I'm forced to have to use a street brush to try to get some of those pieces out of the way. I also noticed in addition that some of those threads ended up in other people's yards as well. My contract states "clean after install." To me that means they should clean up wherever they worked whether inside or out. Final rating 3.5 stars.

We where lucky if we got 15 (if lucky) a 20 hour work week (with all the cigarette breaks and phone calls) and be done between 12:00 to 1:00. One day we got an hour of work because our tiles where frozen together since we left everything out in the elements and not even covered. Was told, "it don't matter." that all the material sits out in the elements. We would show up between 8:00 to 10 and sit out in our truck for 1/2 hour, before coming in to work and just walk into your house. Disrespected our property!, threw garbage (breakfast wrappers), cigarette butts etc. in the driveway. Threw water on our house from mixing grout which now we have splashes of "white" water all over our brick. The worker and owner (Chris) is very arrogant and Chris tries to intimidate you showing up that he's MR. BIG and if you ask questions or stick up for yourself the workers have to call Chris and he shows up and walks right into your house like he owns it. Caught the worker going into my refrigerator because his cooler wasn't keeping his Red Bulls cold. Have more damage to my house that we have to fix and repair after they left. The shower head I ordered, I did not get and it was put up that it hits the wall to where you can not use it. Had to wait a couple of days for a new light fixture because it "didn.t" work, i guess so if it sat for weeks in monsoon and you pick up the box and crumbles and tilt it as a water fall comes out of it. Ruined a dresser that was in our hallway when you come out of the bathroom because we used it for our "work" table. This was the only bathroom we have and was told to get a gym membership so we could bathe and then when they where done we could cancel the membership. WHAT! Also mixed grout in my kitchen because (was told) it was to cold outside to mix it? WHAT. So have grout splattered over some cabinets. They Didn't like it when my husband was home, but totally blew smoke up you know where with me...I think to funny. If you have a pet, you better put them in daycare or another part of your house because the one worker acts like he doesn't like (dogs) and is mean, so I guess we can leave work even earlier. I would no recommend.

I'll start with the medicine cabinet, the plan was to install it in the wall, that wasn't possible so it was wall mounted. Since the cabinet is wall mounted the light now shines down on the top of it. The cabinet above the toilet is much to big for the room, it's design included a crown molding, however it's so high that didn't work out. The service tech had to come and remove a screw that was used to install the cabinet. The sink and vanity when installed left a 3/8 inch gap between the sink top and wall. The tile work in the shower and floor are really second to none, they both look amazing. The shower door however had to be readjusted twice, the shower base arrived with some scratch's that had to be repaired. Once all the work was completed, I payed the balance and opened the bath for daily use. I really wish this review ended there. While shaving one early morning the medicine cabinet fell from the wall hitting me in the head and landing on the sink top requiring it to be replaced. It has since been rehung sink replaced the correct way.

Jason and his team renovated the whole basement by installing drywall, replacing the drop ceiling with a conventional ceiling and new lighting, and covering the entire floor with functional but attractive laminate. In addition, they replaced our kitchen floor, which had some water damage, with beautiful ceramic tile to complement the existing quartz counters. We are very happy with all the work that was done and would highly recommend Building Buddies.

We started the relationship with our plumber who provided Family Floors as a recommendation when I mentioned that we needed to do a bathroom remodel. I called Family Floors and Chuck came out and talked to me and took a lot of measurements saying he would provide an estimate the next day. The work was for removal of the current tub and tub wall, installation of ceramic tile, new tub, and vinyl flooring. I didn't receive Chuck's estimate the next day, I got it via email that night! Wow! I got a follow-up copy of the estimate in the mail a couple days later. We hired Chuck and I went to their store to pick out the tile and flooring. I worked with Kelly and we managed to pick out a lot. I came back to the store after doing some thinking and to view some additional samples after trying out the ones Kelly and I picked in my bathroom. This time I met with Chuck and he was terrific too. He listened carefully to what I explained, the kind of look I was after, and he made some suggestions himself. We honestly had fun with it all. He and Kelly are both very personable, and you can tell they have years of experience doing this because they stay very professional as well. The job is complete now. And it is absolutely beautiful. To attempt to do a quick summary: Chuck was ALWAYS on time, did the job in the amount of time he told me he had scheduled, he worked steadily from the time he arrived at our house until he was done for the day, he was very, very neat and cleaned up very well at the end of each day. I don't think he realized I saw him, but on the first day, I was planting flowers next to our sidewalk and hadn't swept up all the dirt. The next day, he pulled out his brush and swept off that little corner so that he wouldn't track the dirt into the house during his trips in from his van. His prices are very good and there's no having to wheel and deal. He gives you a good price, the right price, from the get go, no games. I loved that too. Thank you Chuck and Kelly!!
