The kitchen looks nice with how they expanded our work space but the cabinets they installed are junk particle board n with water prone areas, they have blistered, cracked, faded and drawers fell apart. Getting them to come back or help fix the cabinets has been unsuccessful after several calls and texts!

This post is for anyone that is looking for a contractor that they want to trust!…read more I think I figured it out. I want to tell you about our journey. So, just finishing up two bathrooms: our master bathroom and a second-floor hall bathroom, that share a wall. The hall bathroom is approximately 8x10 and the master bath is 10x10, 100-year-old Mt. Lebanon home. The Hall bath is original mud set. So, started the process two years ago and my wife and I struggled to find a contractor. Our primary goal was "peace of mind." We wanted to find someone that had vision, did quality work, and would give us options that would fit within a reasonable budget. And, honesty, after a while, all the contractors start to sound the same...."tell us what you want." And the prices were sometimes hard to fathom and while our initial goal was $60K for both bathrooms, we actually had bids in the $90-100K range. Crazy. After almost losing hope, I was introduced to Jeff through a friend that I could consider "exceptionally meticulous," lol, or picky! And the fact that this friend had nothing but positive things to say about Jeff meant a lot. Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. What you need to know is that Jeff is onsite and a hands-on contractor. He also has a really great team. He is SUPER meticulous and thinks through obstacles as they arise. When you are opening 100-year-old walls, you sometimes come across surprises and obstacles. I was so impressed by Jeff's vision and how he would thing through these challenges. Further, he has a very strong "design" sense, as the project moved forward, he would bring up ideas to improve the beginning vision and they were always great. As an example, our walk-in closet shared a wall with our master bathroom and now we have a new second floor laundry room/walk in closet. It has changed our life! Jeff's estimate did not change aside from add-ons that made sense as the project progressed. His labor costs were mid-point to our bids and while we went over budget, it was our choice because of the materials we chose to use. And why am I posting all this, you might ask? I've been in sales my entire career, and it's my fundamental belief that when you identify true, trusted professionals, you help them. The last thing I will say about Jeff is that you can trust him. He cares about his reputation and wants to see his customers thrilled. He is responsible and will diligently work on your project until it is done. He gave us our "peace of mind." Please feel free to contact me at 412-849-5156 to discuss.

Friends of ours had highly recommended them after a similarly great experience, but I wasn't sure if they could help with a basement since their specialty is kitchen and bath. WOW, did they knock the basement out of the park. You wouldn't even believe that it is the same space. From Heather's design ideas to the crew's quick and quality work (Dane and Ryan/Junior), everything was seamless. Dave King, the owner, was on site many of the days offering suggestions to improve the space. He personally went out of his way to make things perfect for us. Usually, making changes on the fly would add $$$ and time, but we stayed on budget while finishing the whole project in two weeks. I'm still in awe of the plumber Mike's effort to move pipes around and truly maximize our small space. Run, don't walk, to Kingswood for your next project! You won't regret it!

Having used Molyneaux years ago for my ceramic tile in my kitchen I decided to go with them to re…read morecarpet major areas in my house. I liked the fact that they sent a sales representative to my home instead of me having to drive over there. Shannon Davin came to visit me and brought an array of samples. She let me keep one of the sample boards for a few days until I was certain of the color and texture I needed. It is very hard to tell the difference in color between the small swatches and the large one on the cover board. Some of them are very close in color that it is hard to differentiate. Nevertheless my husband and I finally chose a good neutral color that would blend with my existing carpeting. After a few hiccups along the way prior to the install, Frank and Dominic came to my home early on the date scheduled to start the install. I was impressed with the fact that each of them were able to tackle different rooms to get the job completed quickly and efficiently. They use what is called a "power stretcher" to help insure the new carpeting does not "bunch up". I was told if that should happen within a certain time frame then they would come out and restretch the carpet for free. They honored my request to not allow threads to fall within my air ducts which I had recently had cleaned and they did vacuum them as well as the whole house to insure everything was picked up. I observed how they used a special glue underneath and tool to make each part of the new carpet install appear seamless. What did concern me was the fact that one of them was "pattern" cutting a few pieces of my new carpet using the shape of the pulled up carpet out on the street. They were do this to make the carpet a bit larger so they could adequately cut away the excess. After the install was complete I was thoroughly pleased with the hard work they did however after they left I noticed that one of my basement doors could not shut properly due to excess carpet. Having called the company, they were quick to send out another installer who went out of his way to make sure that problem was remedied and even took the time to make sure the door to my garage was also not blocked. I am completely pleased with my carpeting, however, after I went outside I saw carpet threads all over my property and all over the street where they had done the pattern cutting. A neighbor even called me to complain about this mishap because she was afraid to take her dog out for fear of her swallowing the small pieces. I really wish they would have done this pattern cutting in my garage instead. I would have gladly given them permission. Now I'm forced to have to use a street brush to try to get some of those pieces out of the way. I also noticed in addition that some of those threads ended up in other people's yards as well. My contract states "clean after install." To me that means they should clean up wherever they worked whether inside or out. Final rating 3.5 stars.
