Cabo brides: I would use a different vendor for glam. I used Alma and her team for my wedding in January. I want to start off by saying Alma and her team did my glam for my rehearsal dinner, and I was very happy with it. For the wedding day, I asked to do the EXACT same makeup as the rehearsal dinner- and it was not even close to the same. For the rehearsal dinner I had a very full coverage look with a bronzed/blush look, shimmery eye shadow and nicely done lashes. What I ended up getting for the wedding day was a look with very little to no blush, two Eyelashes that were not applied evenly (one hanging off), and to make matters worse, the whole look was not symmetrical (one side of my face was a lot more contoured/appeared heavier and looked like it had more makeup than the other). I was incredibly washed out by the look and so unhappy with it. I also had a streak/line going down my cheek that I had asked to be covered up, and it did not get fixed. When it came time for touch ups, I voiced my concerns and I had asked for my eye lash to be re glued down, but this was not fixed and very visible in photos. In the moment I should've stopped the process and fixed everything myself because I was really disappointed and quite shocked by how it looked, but we did not have time to fix everything (my hair and makeup took much longer than it was supposed to due to a struggle that happened applying my eyelashes). We were also adjusting my bun at the same time as these touch ups and as I started to get stressed and overwhelmed by this, the hair stylist was not very kind to me and seemed to be getting very irritated with me requesting changes. The overall demeanor of the stylists working on me was not relaxing, and I didn't feel like they wanted to make me happy - they just wanted to do the look they wanted. Throughout the whole process from trial to wedding day, I was always very vocal about how I wanted my makeup to look, so I find it really odd that the look executed was so far off of what I had always discussed and showed pictures of. Looking back, my hair ended up looking great, but I hated my makeup. I am so disappointed that I had requested a few changes and they were not made. My makeup was way too natural, and I almost look like I'm not wearing any, when I wanted a very glam look. I'd expect professional MUA's that charge this much to be able to apply lashes, recreate looks, and be able to execute in a timely manner. It is really frustrating because now whenever I look at my wedding photos I'm not happy with my appearance but really do love everything else about the day. Overall, my experience with Cabo makeup was OK, but I would definitely use another team if I were to do it again. read more

Worst makeup and hair stylists ever. DO NOT BOOK THEM AS THEY ARE THE WORST. They ruined my wedding by sending the most unprofessional team which no one was happy with. I was late to my wedding for 2 hours due to the unprofessional team that they sent. They couldn't even do a normal hair. I had to call someone else to coma and fix my hair and my bridal party. The worst experience of my life. I booked them through my planner but the only thing that I would change if I could back is not booking them. There are so many better hair and make up artists in Cabo for example Blanc Bridal. Cabo make up is the worst!! Not only they ruined me and my bridal party hair and make up and due to unprofessionally of their team we were late for two hours but they also have the worst customer service. They did not take care of all the damages they've done to my wedding. In other world they stole my money because they did not do their job right. If I can give zero star I would. Alma and her team were fantastic! They did my bridesmaid's hair (blow out + waves) and applied all of our eyelashes. Her team did a great job on my girls' hair--everyone looked exactly as they requested; no surprises, which is great! She also did a great job on all of our lashes. Alma and her team were amazing on the day of my wedding! She was highly recommended by my wedding planner and I can not say how pleased I am that we used her services for our big day. Her services were affordable and easy to pay through Paypal. She was so gracious about adding in an additional hair and m/u for my brother's girlfriend within a week of the wedding. She and her hair specialist came to the Cape hotel 2 days before the wedding for a trial before our rehearsal dinner and with a few small touches they changed the look to avoid an early reveal. I was so nervous to have my make up professionally done for my wedding. I knew that I was very picky about what I liked and knew that I wanted to look like a princess for my very special day. I set up a trial appointment for a few months before the wedding when I would be in Cabo finalizing details. Alma and her team came to the hotel and did my hair and make up, it looked amazing and Alma was so nice!!! As we got closer to the wedding date, I changed my mind on how I wanted my make up!! I was nervous that Alma wouldn't be able to squeeze me in for another trial. I was wrong - she did no problem!! Alma and her team were so wonderful for my wedding. They were very communicative and listened to what I wanted, and then they were talented and creative enough to make it more beautiful than I had imagined! They are very professional and their products are all very high end. I thought my hair might be a problem because it involved a low bun and some clip in extensions and I was worried it wouldn't look natural and might not stay up the whole evening. But it was amazing, looked completely natural and just as the picture I showed her, and stayed perfect the whole time,even with all the dancing!
