We met with Alexis for a quote on roof replacement, who was very thorough in her assessment of our current roof and her explanation of what our options were. We went with Cabrera mostly for the customer service and the warranty offered by them and their products. The initial scheduling and roof completion was quick and easy. The final cost was a bit more than quoted because the roofers found some fascia boards that needed replacement. The final roof product looked great. However a few weeks later, our house painters discovered a rotted barge board that hadn't been replaced. Removing and replacing it would affect the roof shingles underneath, so I contacted Alexis. She immediately jumped on the situation, getting in touch with the roofers and her team, and within a few days the roofers were back out to our place. They removed and replaced the barge board, as well as re-shingled the part of the roof that was affected. And they didn't charge us for the barge board, which I know was due to Alexis going to bat for us. While the initial situation was annoying, Alexis and her great customer service made up for it. This is why we paid more to go with a reputable company like Cabrera. Also, last week I received confirmation from Malarkey that they had receipt of our warranty, as well as all the steps to take in the future should we need to tap into it. All in all, a very positive experience for a product that yes, cost a lot of money, but is key to protecting our home. read more

A couple days ago I met with Tim and Drew for a roofing estimate. I was extremely impressed with how they handled the situation. First they got on top of the roof and found some issues, they were honest, said though it didn't look the best, that isn't necessarily mean it would need replaced. Now, this is what super impressed me, Tim proceeded to tell me what he would be looking for in my attic, he showed me pictures before going up and explained the causes of what he called the big 4! Right before going into the attic he goes "so if none of the big 4 are up here, we're outta here and can just sign you up for our yearly maintenance inspection", and into my attic they went. In the end the issues found definitely made me realize that I needed to do something immediately. After checking there BBB, insurance and licensing and seeing the hundreds of reviews on multiple different platforms I decuded they were the company for me!! After educating me on what would fix my problems Tim then wrote up a full project right in front of me and then assisted me with an easy monthly payment with there in-house financing!! Had new windows put in my manufactured home (in a park). They not only would work on a manufactured home, they had financing available for one in a park that had good terms. These are the specific reasons I was happy with their service. First, the guy that did the quote said the same things as the inspector had told me when I bought the house, so I felt like I was getting an honest assessment. They told me that it might be October before the windows were installed, but they were installed by the end of August. The work crew was on time and arrived ready to work. It was apparent they had a good system because they arrived at 9:00 and by 9:15 they had at least one of the windows completely out, and they finished the install part that day. The trimming was done in a few hours the next day and again, the crew arrived on time and were on the job immediately. They communicated progress all day. The crew was friendly and courteous. When they had to generate a lot of dust, they put plastic in my windows so it didn't go all over my house AND they swept the outside and vacuumed the inside (it was cleaner when they left than when they arrived). I was recommended by a family member this company. I met Johnny Sr. and Johny Jr. his son at my home for an estimate of the work to be done. The level of professionalism and attention to detail during our encounter was great but I am an old dog and was very interested in the work, pricing, time taken and overall experience. The work was schedule for January 6, 2024 after the Holidays and sure enough, the team showed up to set up the work site inside my home, using protective paper and cardboard in the areas so as to care for my belongings and the hole work was conducted like a symphony. Mr. Cabrera said this was being done on this day and time, by whom and sure enough that was what happened. The quality of work, the attention to detail, professionalism and attention to our desires and request were excellent. This company is the genuine thing, they know their craft, have the ability to get the job done and respond immediately to any request which my wife had several of them. Tim and Drew came out today see me today to give me a Free roof inspection after Darius came out and knocked on my door yesterday. All 3 of them were professional and friendly and eager to assist me with my roofing issues. The entire inspection took about 45 minutes but listening to Tim/Drew work together and tease each other made it go by so fast, ive literally never laughed so hard when being given terrible news. In the end I decided after talking with Tim (never met someone who knows more about roofing) that Cabrera Construction was my company of choice. After helping me figure out my budget, they assisted me with easy financing and then showed me how to block all the other callers who keep bothering me! Unfortunately, the prior Contractor who did our remodel left a huge mess. No one can figure out how our house passed inspection.
