This place is the Goldie Locks of co-ops. Just right. OK. This is the only place I really go anymore. It doesn't have EVERYTHING, but it also doesn't overwhelm you with so many choices that you feel indecisive. Everything that is here is amazing. They carry only products that have been lab tested. They can give you the numbers on every strain and edible. They carry some of the best edibles I've ever had. Ever. The bud-tenders are so damn nice! They have a sense of humor, and they will explain anything you need. They know my favorite products and suggest new things if they are out of the item for which I was looking. The prices are competitive. They don't have a lot of promotions, but when you find consistently great service, why go anywhere else? It's a hidden gem. This place is refreshing compared to past experiences. Been here twice so far and both people that helped me were extremely knowledgable, honest & nice. The woman's name was Sarah and I didn't catch the guy's name. They were both extremely patient and answered all of my questions. The place was clean and had no seedy vibes at all..... which I didn't even think was possible. The second time I came here I had recently had surgery and my mom had to take me and I asked her if she wanted to wait in the waiting room. She declined because her knee was bothering her but regardless/ It's a place you could bring your mom too! The selection is good and their prices are fair. They don't seem to carry some of my favorite edible brands but next time I'm going to make a request. Nice vape selection that the staff actually knows about! Never had a problem with anything leaking, breaking, ext. I've never received a "free gift" of a joint or crappy pipe or something of that nature but they do give out free, normal, fun sized candy out in bowls on the counter. For me, I'd rather have a couple packs of hot tamales than a crappy joint! I've worked in the service industry for over 15 years and I hardly ever feel the need or urge to write a good review, but this place was exceptional. very disappointed, went to CAC last week on Tuesday, bought medication, was charged the price shown $25. Great! went back few days later, same medication purchased from same guy Jim. Was handed my change & the medication & I left. When I got home, my change was a couple dollars off. Looking at the receipt, wow, again, Im charged more the second time? I was charged tax the second visit. Why isn't the pricing here consistent? I have no problem paying the price, just charge the same thing each time for each person. When I called to ask why the difference in pricing, I was told "Oh, we gave you a break the first time"....sigh.....anyone else have the same issues with being charged different prices? read more

Over the course of the past 18 months, I have visited over 100 dispensaries from the San Fernando Valley to San Diego County. This is the best dispensary of them all, in my opinion. Three reasons why: 1) The emphasis here is on the word medical. The vast majority of product is labeled with THC and CBD content, including the flower. 2) They grow their own plants, so the same strains and approximate equivalent strengths and ratios are consistently available. That is a huge advantage for the patient that prefers flower and needs consistent dosing. 3) The staff really know their stuff. They are adults. Most other dispensaries skew toward the youth lifestyle cannabis user. A commitment to medicine is reflected in their knowledge, kindness and compassion. read more

I've been going to CAC for 13 years. I'm a bread and butter client. I'm there almost every week. I'm sad to have to give them a bad review. I purchased some edibles today and got the wrong kind. They are a Xmas gift so I needed that particular type (kind for sleep). It was my fault for not looking at the product before purchase. I came home, saw the mistake and returned within 30 minutes. I was willing to buy a more expensive product to exchange. They said no edible exchanges at this time. They've lost a good client. I'm gonna miss them. Nice people. read more

EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO MEDMEN ON LINCOLN!!! I was a long time patient at VBC (more than ten years) just south of this dispensary. Unfortunately, they sold out to a corporate chain (MedMen) and their excellent genetics disappeared overnight, replaced by a weird, $tepford vibe. So I gave VAC a shot and have found my new home for affordable, TOP SHELF GENETICS. This is a group taking pride in their strains and it shows - I've enjoyed solid versions of gorilla glue, private reserve, Alaska blue ice and more...all excellent. Be clear, this is a very non-corporate, accessible business not trying to dazzle you by copying an Apple Store's design. It's "Venice" as opposed to "Si-lincoln Beach". I learned a lesson going there . Don't trust any of their bud tenders they told me I was getting a OG Kush discounted because it was the smaller buds . I then asked about the Quality she once again said it's the smaller buds . It's packed and sealed allready once I got in the home and looked at it . They completely gave me some of the worst smoke I have ever had . And to think All of the shops Venice are shut down because of the new laws . Everyone was so helpful! I wish weed was legal in Chicago (where I live). The staff member was so friendly and informative. She helped me pick out 2 awesome strains which smelled delicious. One was the sativa strain Purple Haze and the other was a sativa dominant hybrid called Critical Jack. I also bought some delicious edibles- vegan chocolate covered fruit gummies, chocolate covered banana bits and white chocolate stars. Lastly, I purchased this very rad vape pen and a Pineapple Express cartridge. I'm very satisfied with all the products I bought. I didn't know how to work the vape pen so I came back the next day and they were very helpful in explaining how to use it! I hope to move to California soon so I can shop here regularly! read more

This place is horable never waste your money where you are not treated as a valued customer. Yesterday I purchased some Larry og was told by bud tender it was some of their best flowers. When I went to go break it down in my grinder to my surprise I found lots of seeds in the flower now all smokers know that seeds is not something you want to see when buying the suppose to be top shelf in the shop. So the next day I return to this place to voice my disappointment with my purchase only to be told by Sarah that it happens sometime WTF really no it doesn't maybe here it does she offered no solution to accommodate a customer who was not happy with his purchase. Bottom line this shop is straight steeling money and could give two you know what about how the person spending his or her money feels. I was registered with this Collective and very happy with their compassionate care. On Christmas Eve Day, I went in with two problems that had me very upset. I needed one more contribution of mercy medicine so I could make it to city to do banking and my phone was dead and no one could reach me and pick me up. They gave me medicine and told me I could charge phone.Their outlets were trashed so I couldn't plug in my charger. They offered to let me make a call to check my voicemail. A foreign man in the lobby I had never met offered this help. At the same time,he was treating me as if I was creating a disturbance and deliberately took every calm answer I gave that just checking my VM would be fine until I could find a place to charge my phone. The guy doesn't give me a phone. He gave me more aggravated attitude so that he threw me out, out of the collective,onto the street and acted as if was calling the police on me.
