There is no child that doesn't delight in being able to wander the aisles and find one or two things they want to enjoy down by the water. The only thing that you need to be aware of is prices. If you're not here for the "experience" then you need to be aware that some things are cheaper than you'd find elsewhere, due to rarity, but some local candies are more expensive. Consider it like going to a pub. You can have the same drink at home for 2 dollars, but you choose to pay 14 and then tax and tip, because you want the experience of doing it somewhere else. This is the candy version of that. And it's a delight every time!

They use Cacao Berry brand which tastes delicious. Their claim to fame are their ice-wine chocolates and their caramel, both of which you should definitely get. Other than that, I was extremely impressed by the number of moulds they carry. Makes for lots of playful chocolate ideas. If you need a custom made party favours, or wedding treats, etc, this is where you want to go. So, we picked up a couple of chocolate covered tarts. They have a variety of tarts and coverings. I had a plain tart with a salted caramel chocolate covering, and Lee had a plain chocolate and butter tart. One minus is the checkout is a little chaotic. There were a group of kids waiting, and it was a little confusing who was serving who, but we got it all sorted out. Later, we had these for dessert. Chocolate covered was a little bit of a misnomer. They're more chocolate topped, and the chocolate, while tasty, was a thick disc covering the top, which made it a little awkward to eat. I ended up just eating the disc separately. However, it was delicious, and that awkwardness shouldn't dissuade you from giving this place a try.
