And when I went to Collingwood last month, I really wanted to try this place out. It was actually quite hard to find for us. We typed into our GPS and circled around the big roads but didn't realize that it was a food truck outside of a Hardware store. It was a weekend afternoon, at around lunch time and when we got there there were 2-3 people enjoying their desserts in the side bench tables. Since we just wanted a snack, we ordered 'The Works' for $10.75 - which is a funnel cake with strawberries and syrup and a big dollop of soft serve ice cream. For an extra buck, you get an extra helping of that soft serve ice cream. The meal was delicious as expected! The funnel cake was warm and soft, and complimented very well with the soft serve. I love that Kiki's also has other things on their menu. They have hamburger, hotdogs, poutine, French fries, etc.. basically anything that you can get at a carnival. I was really intrigued by the deep fried pickle, so maybe I'll try that next time....with some delicious soft serve, of course!

They are very generous with the strawberries and ice cream. The only downside was some of the strawberries were still frozen. My teeth would get so sensitive biting into an ice cold strawberry. There was only one girl working at the time we went and it was super busy. She was still so friendly and positive even though there was order after order. Props to that girl! Would defs return when I feel like a super cheat day.

Fresh, small batch donuts, really fun ice cream flavors, and all sorts of other baked goodies. I wish we lived closer cause I would be here all the time! The chocolate dip donut was really delicious. The donut itself is fantastic!! Fluffy, sweet, and made of dreams. I had the cinnamon sugar donut and I already miss it so much. It was a lovely texture and tasted so good! I cannot wait to be back in the area just to come here and try whatever fun flavors they have next!!

The place is small and clean with a great little donut vibe! We were greeted with a smile and left with a big thank you! We ordered donuts here, first time in Canada, and loved them so much that if we come back to Canada 1,000 more times, we will be getting donuts here 1,000 more times. The donuts were so soft and spongy, the fillings so flavorful and the Homer Simpson donut is awesome! The FERRERO ROCHER donut is a chocolate lover's dream! I swear the thing was more filling than donut! Sooo good!!!! These are the types of places to support and not the chains!

It is a lovely place to go for fine dining. Three had steak, all of which were declared tender and cooked just right. One had OssoBuco which fell off the bone it was so tender. The rest had fish, which was not overcooked and delicious. Our server was helpful but not intrusive . It was a good choice for a small group. Having said all that, there was a very large party on the other side of the restaurant , so they can handle a crowd. And I have eaten at the bar before and that was more casual but also very good.

They also had a few paintings on their walls to sell that were made by local artists which was really nice. Our server was polite and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the oysters, the soup of the day, filet mignon with herb roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables and the new york striploin with chive mashed potato and garlic mushrooms. We were quite pleased with the oysters (5/5) and the soup which was Chipotle Tomato (5/5). The soup had a nice smokey flavour and a kick from the chipotle which paired well with the sweetness and tanginess of the tomato soup. Filet Mignon with Herb Roasted Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables (3.5/5). The steak was cooked to my liking (medium rare). The char to it heightened the flavour of the steak. The steak also had bacon wrapped around which I couldn't really taste. The herb roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The kitchen staff unfortunately forgot to add my seasonal vegetables on the plate which we let our server know. The vegetables were underwhelming as they were overcooked. We hope for the staff to be more attentive in future orders. The New York Striploin with Chive Mashed Potato and Garlic Mushrooms (4/5) was also cooked medium rare however, we did find some parts of the steak to be slightly overcooked. The char also heightened the flavours of the steak. The chive mashed potato had a smooth texture. Butter on the side would've been a good idea. The garlic mushrooms were deliciously cooked. It was bouncy and juicy, coated in the garlic flavour we were looking for. They also gave out bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar for starters.

The patio was unfortunately in the shade and it was a bit windy and cold, but our hot beverages helped keep us warm. Get there early if you want pastries as they do sell out. If you plan to dine in, you pick a seat and then order at the cafe and settle up then they bring you your food. There's a place outside for you to place your used dishes after you're done. The lunch menu (after 11am) is limited. The croque monsieur ($19) was the size of a regular slice of bread and came with a salad. The roast beef sandwich on baguette was the tiniest sandwich I've seen at a cafe. For almost $15 we thought it would be a much bigger sandwich. The sizing of it would have been more appropriately advertised as a kids meal. We thought the meal was very much overpriced for the portion sizes we got.
