There is a therapy pool that contains an operating underwater treadmill that can be raised or lowered, allowing a person to move a sore or injured limb without the usual amount of pain. It is usually around 94 degrees, a perfect temperature to work out in and not be too cold either. There are jets that provide massage therapy as well. The treadmill has different speeds also, allowing the therapists to accommodate to any specific need of a patient, which enhances their healing time. The fitness center features air compressors that can add or subtract weight to the machines, eliminating the strenuous task of getting up from the machine and moving a pin and weights manually. AquaWorx Exercise Specialists provide an initial assessment of what you would like to accomplish and how well you will be able to accomplish it. In addition, setting up workout plans and giving you the means to follow through with those plans. There are many volunteers, interns, and employees who walk around assisting each person individually. Providing reinforcement and re-evaluation. There are also groups and classes you can attend weekly, some of which include balance and yoga. And again, the physical therapists are great at what they do. They always give their client enough of their time to fully understand the problem and figure out a solution. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you are thinking about joining and getting a gym membership, but still want to look into it, schedule a tour! You can meet and talk with the employees as well as current residents. The staff were friendly and kind they listened to my wife and cared about her as a person. We got there when there was no emergency line, and they took us right back. The staff were attentive and did the how they could to make my wife comfortable. This is an exemplary facility. Dr. Tormond was wonderful, and Gill the ER Director even stopped by to make sure that everything went well and we were treated well. I cannot recommend this place any higher.

Had one of the best experiences here yesterday. We were on a trip at Yellowstone. And on our last…read moreday, when we had to drive to Salt Lake City for our flight, my daughter woke up with nausea and vomiting. We decided to drive and see how her sickness progresses. We had to stop few times on the way and finally went to the ER. Luckily, they weren't very busy. We got checked in and taken to the room in 10 min. The nurse and MD were both very nice. Once they found out that we had a flight home in just a few hrs and still had a way to go to SLC they took care of us pretty fast. Basic labs were done in 10 min and I was given copy. I…read morehave some dental anxiety due to some dental work I had a few years ago, and he has always been so good to work with me and to make sure that while I am in the chair that I am doing ok. His assistants are always so sweet and the ladies at reception are so efficient as well. I love that after just a couple visits, they knew who I was when I got there and they would just verify the info with me, let them know I was there, and within a few minutes someone would come out to get me. Dr. Schvaneveldt is so fun and such a jokester and I enjoy that I feel like I can joke around with him and that he doesn't feel that he has to be so buttoned up all the time. I believe that bedside manner is so important when you are picking someone for your care team and I am so glad that I picked Ridgeview when I was looking for someone that would take my insurance because Dr. Schvaneveldt is one of the most fun and caring dentists I have been to. ***As a side note...I read through all the previous reviews and I can't imagine Dr. Schvaneveldt EVER being the way some of the people that left 1-star reviews say he was. I would HIGHLY recommend instead of taking their word (or mine for that matter) you give him a try for yourself. I would never ever recommend this dentist to anyone. Went for a full extraction. He never said…read morehello. He started my shots with no numbing prior. From the first shot my entire body was in distress. Of course I knew I would experience pain but this was outrageous. He was aggressive and I was showing extreme distress pulling my legs up off the chair and turning my face. He continued and did not stop even though I was bawling my eyes out. I went into fight or flight, freeze . I froze and was scared to death. I'm not one to not speak my mind but my mind and body went into trama mode. He never once showed any concern or asked if I was ok! Any dr. I've ever seen has stopped or showed comfort when in the slightest pain! I feel like he could care less about me as a human. After slamming the forth shot into me I finally found the courage to say I need a break! I told him whatever it took to get out of there! I felt I was not safe. He was irritated and short with me. I said I would reschedule knowing I would not. I left there shaking and could not see through tears and make up. I pulled out of the parking lot and parked across the street and called my daughter while shaking. My body trembled for four hours after and I was tramatized for weeks. Being rude and dismissive of patients pain and concerns is against his code of ethics and I'm sure he learned this in school but seems to not give a shit!!!!I my opinion only but I believe this guy is very mentally disturbed I finally found a loving caring dentist that started my process with the upmost care and professionalism. P.s. I feel this guy is an arrogant sadist. Go see Dr. Peery instead! The best guy ever! Thanks for saving me!
