The people are nice and the work was ok, (I do think the crown they put it was too tight, which cause the tooth next to it to break - but I cannot confirm that). They 'cannot' tell you before how much your insurance will cover for the procedure, but then after the procedure it over they know exactly, how little your insurance covers and that is what you get charges with. Then a couple of weeks later, they send you a bill for even more, saying that it was not in the original bill or covered by insurance. That coupled with their prices for a standard root canal are $1950. One tooth, One Root Canal, One Crown - $2,000. And they only work 4 days a week. Cannot, will not recommend this place.

She responded with the following message that suggests this MA does not have patience and she needs to fix her attitude (see attached screenshot). Also, it is very hard to reach this clinic. Sometimes I call several times throughout the day and it goes straight to voicemail (very frustrating). There is no menu where you can select the option to speak to appointment desk, MA, medical records, billing, etc. The problem is the receptionists handle all the incoming calls and they definitely need a phone menu to direct calls properly. If you need to speak to the MA about a medical issue, you have to speak to reception first to transfer and you can't always get a hold of someone in reception. UPDATE: I received a certified letter from the clinic (Dr Emily Rhodes) stating that I am fired as a patient (see attached letter). As a lgbtq patient, I am disheartened to be treated this way. This is retaliatory for speaking up and providing feedback for an obviously inappropriate response from a medical assistant. The certified letter inaccurately accused me of being disrespectful, while it is the medical assistant herself who is acting unprofessional. This clinic is overly aggressive and has dealt with my complaint by firing me. It is a shame for this clinic to be called lgbtq affirming and I encourage any patient especially LGBTQ and BIPOC to avoid this clinic like the plague.

His assistants are always so sweet and the ladies at reception are so efficient as well. I love that after just a couple visits, they knew who I was when I got there and they would just verify the info with me, let them know I was there, and within a few minutes someone would come out to get me. Dr. Schvaneveldt is so fun and such a jokester and I enjoy that I feel like I can joke around with him and that he doesn't feel that he has to be so buttoned up all the time. I believe that bedside manner is so important when you are picking someone for your care team and I am so glad that I picked Ridgeview when I was looking for someone that would take my insurance because Dr. Schvaneveldt is one of the most fun and caring dentists I have been to. ***As a side note...I read through all the previous reviews and I can't imagine Dr. Schvaneveldt EVER being the way some of the people that left 1-star reviews say he was. I've been through the VA system, I've also been to clinics and had multiple primary care doctors. I've never been treated so amazingly well. 90% of the doctors now days just put bandaids and shove pills down Your throat to "fix" the problems. DR. Morgan finds the root causes of the medical issues and finds alternative means to fix the problem. believe me I've been through the wringer with horrible medical professionals, and thank heavens I found DR.
