My son had 3 photographers: 1 for his cap and gown picture, 1 for his senior yearbook picture, and 1 for the extra runway pose. All three photographers were great, but the photographer who stood out the most with my son was Peyton. Please don't have your kids take their senior portraits here! The setup: the initial package fee only covers the photography itself. If you want to get ANY digital copies, only one comes in the package 3 at $399 after the photography. Plus tax. Plus shipping. Plus some other random fee. By their own admission during the presentation, they mishandled my son's photography sessions letting a trainee take my son's photos. They came out very amateurish. These are his senior portraits! Only one photo that the trainee did NOT take came out well. The only remedy they offered me was to take even more crappy pics of my son. Tech issues during the photo presentation. Dirty robes falling apart day of taking the photos for the cap and gown pic. I asked them to fix it with safety pins so the damage wouldn't show in the pics. They couldn't figure out it. A manager came and put huge, ugly blobs of tape on the front of their gown where they would show in the photos, making the problem even worse! I had to ultimately fix it as best I could myself. Only to be told that the cap and gown pics aren't even part of the $600+ total package fee! They have to be purchased separately in March of next year, which no one told me at check in the day the photos were taken, again, like they admitted they failed at and were supposed to. Training fails, communication fails, and lack of professionalism, not to mention lack of cleanliness all the way around! So frustrating and disappointing. We should've just taken the yearbook pics and booked at an actual professional studio for some real senior portraits for my only child. Also, the $50 deposit is a trap. If you're unhappy with the pics and don't use the deposit for ordering at the presentation, they'll keep your money! read more

They are a scam. Way overpriced and they sell you on getting the Digitals for $900 for ALL pictures. Then you get home and realize you don't get them all. I called and complained and they did nothing to help and told me I could purchase the other pictures seperate. So now we won't be able to get the other photos bc after spending $900, we can't get the rest. read more

Liked the one of the three photographers a lot. The others were okay. Wasn't going to purchase the upgraded package since we are doing a separate Senior package later but were told we could purchase the digital session. We did this and were surprised that we only got five photos per scene. So disappointing. We didn't even get to choose the photos. We had a very good experience with Cady Studios for my daughter's senior pictures. Although we were there for a little over two hours, it didn't seem like it. She had a really great photographer by the name of Tony, who did the majority of her scenes. Tony was patient and he really worked with her on poses and her smile. I really only have two complaints with Cady. When we arrived and checked in, no one explained how the process really works and that you go get in line for your pictures at any station. Also, Cady needs to be more realistic on their prices. They are way too expensive with some of the packages that they offer! They treated my daughter like a princess. Every single photographer we worked with had a people person type of personality and we're more than helpful in making g her feel comfortable in her poses. We were lucky to find Brian (sp?) who I felt did a great job bringing the best out of her. He allowed her to be creative and comfortable to express herself. This is my 3rd senior going through the process at this location. My experience -there are no reasonable pricing options for the quality and photography in the packages offered. And to boot my senior disliked all the photos. Lots of waiting to get through the photo options, dealing with the $800? portfolio they ship you is a pain. Unnecessary Be prepared to wait and really review the photos being taken while they are in progress. If your kid isn't comfortable being photographed in a crowd do the year book shot and bolt. He ignored me as the parent and tried to encourage teen to override me. The checkout staff member, demanded I do my review at checkout even though we had more locations and I refused . She then proceeded to TELL me that, that's how other customer do it. Told us to be there 15 min early but they made us stand out side the 15 min and opened it exactly at 9 am. Manager says they do that so people won't be late and make us stand outside ... how unprofessional. And the ELITE entrance was never opened and the counter not servicing. I waited in standard, then got cut in line and eventually walked over to the ELITE area after being there first Waste of money Fast forward to today, image review. Was forced to make me come in for an appointment to view their corny manipulative video of your kid to tug at your heart strings to buy these photos. Only liked 30 out of 80, cue the presenter hitting the panic button on his computer.. in comes another man, no knock. Hard sales pitch, fake admiration of my kid...now we have 3 men in the room with us.. trying to manipulate and intimidate us to buy. After presentation I say I will talk with my hubby to decide what package we want.. but he wants us to buy the almost 2k package and NOW. Maam if you don't get it now you can't get it later. You can't buy it online. You lose digital photos (2 extras), you lose $200 off. says He will step out the room so I can call my husband. if I do decide to buy it I have to come make another appointment , for a new presentation BEFORE I can buy the photos I already picked out. Now here come the attitudes, and the sass. The aggressive sell the demands. TERRIBLE behavior , poor company practices, terrible strong arm practices, passive aggressive front desk staff. $2k, they made my kid look like a tomato.. over corrected her to red Puffy face. Yeah COBB County schools should be ashamed for steering parents there, I'd like to see who is getting paid behind this .... Hire a freelancer who will send you the pics you pay to take without scamming you into paying $200 for a photo session then tell you you have to pay another $1000 for any good photos. Then go to Shutterfly and pay $5 for 100+ printed photos that are actually sized well. I got the $1000 package that had maybe 12 images on a USB that I did not get to choose which ones I wanted they randomly picked them. Then the prints were supposed to be 8x5 and I guess they had a child cut them because they couldn't even fit a 8x5 frame. Ordered my prints off of Shutterfly and guess what they were actually sized properly and I got to keep loads of extras for cards and frames. The photos I got from Cady were not sized right at all so now they sit in the folder they came in or the "art piece" we ordered bc that's the only thing it fits. read more

RUN RUN RUN!! If I could give a zero rating I would. We have to use them through our school, so I decided to get all her photos done. The photographer was a recent high school graduate, I could have taken better pictures. When I received the pictures, they were blurry, dark, doubled exposed and out of focus. I ask for my money back, they said they don't do refunds for anyone for any reason. Don't think about asking for a supervisor or district manager, they don't speak to customers!! They tried to fix the pictures, the just brighten the face to hide the dark picture, awful. Their business practice is to take peoples money and not look back. SO disappointing!! Not sure what I was expecting but it was a madhouse. Certain sessions come with a photographer and if you don't select this you stand in line for each photo shoot you pay for. My daughter and I spent 6 hours there. Mostly because of waiting in line for each backdrop I chose. Some photographers are new and they can completely ruin your experience when they get frustrated because they can't get 5 good shots, which in turn can change your child's perception of the whole event. Also there are some amazing photographers that know the soft skills of building up confidence to get great photos. This place is a ripoff PERIOD and we should all complain to our schools for using these people. It shouldn't cost anything to have a yearbook picture taken. I shouldn't need an appointment with a sales rep just to see the pictures. It shouldn't cost hundreds of dollars to get one 8x10 print (because they won't sell just one, you have to buy a package of 4). This senior portrait session was for my second senior daughter. Both schools use this studio for yearbook photos and senior photos. They were efficient, and most sets had 2 people. The photographers didn't "pose" my daughter as well as I thought they would. The last session was in 2019. However, they didn't give me any lip service when I requested a few ideas for poses. Most likely, I will end up buying the poses I recommended. I'm open minded. I've got a wait and see attitude. I enjoyed my afternoon with my daughter, but no one staff member played a crucial role in making our experience stand out when it came to the photos. There was one exception, and I wish this front desk greeter was a photographer. Her name was Rukhsar. Not only did she asked how we were doing, but she offered alot of helpful advice when she found us. She went out of her way, keep up the great work Rukhsar! read more

All I want is one 5x7 Senior picture for my "School Days" wall collage photo. We did not do the "photo shoot" because my child is not a model, so I don't want to pay for all that nonsense. Cady came to the High School to take his picture. They don't sell just one 5x7 so the best option is the package that has (1) 8x10 - that I don't need and (2) 5x7. With shipping and tax, that comes to $98.88!!! Then they want to upcharge you for retouching. All that tells me is that Cady doesn't even invest in good lighting. Such a scam! We were force by a contract with Cherokee County Schools to use the photography company for my son's senior and football pictures. They are the worst quality photos I have ever seen. he looks pixilated! I took better photos the same day with my iPhone! I had to use them for senior portraits for my son to be included in the yearbook. Before I saw the quality of the football pictures, I had advanced purchased a large package for senior pictures and "outdoor" scenes (which are all indoors with fake backdrops). I asked for a refund of the casual photos and just keep the required senior picture and they refused a refund! The pictures hadn't even been taken yet! DO NOT use this company. They are not professionals. Cady update I reached out to their customer service email customerservice@cadystudios.com Megan called me within 30 minutes. She offered to send uncropped digital image of both poses, decreased my original 3 scene senior package to the 1 required scene (as required by the school). She refunded me $45 for the lower package. She will reach out to see if they will talk to the coach/school to set up retakes. She will also talk to someone about the banner photos to see about redoing those as well. read more

When I tried to call, I spoke to someone that was EXTREMELY rude, told me she would have a manager "deal with me". The customer services is just as bad as the product, which is extremely overpriced. UNREAL PRICES!!!! $50 for a single digital download, what the hell. If you want a single 8x10 you need to fork over $100 dollars, plus processing fees. They do not even provide options, they give you a single picture, so no choosing there. What a racket!!!!! Why do ATL schools even consider this company? Parents should request their schools provide better options for this, both on service and pricing. And forget about going to their location! These are the most business centered people in the world. We just received my sons portfolio and it is awful. The editing is very elementary and the poses are just awful. When we went for my sons sessions, I could tell the "photographers " were literally just taking.pictures. No professionalism no advice on poses and they took 4 backgrounds in about 30 mins !!!! We have received the package costs and they are just Waaaay overpriced for the quality ....the poses aren't centered , the editing is nonexistent and the photographers are mediocre. I am highly upset because this is a big thing in my sons life and you guys have made it a joke ....!!!!! read more

Our school uses this company, so we continue to have to deal with them. For Senior portraits, their photo session set-up is efficient but the photos weren't great (my son's face looked orange), and the cost is ridiculous. When grandparents can't afford to buy photos, you've lost the entire purpose of your product! Also they send a portfolio to you without your consent, and then force you to have to deal with it, or they charge your credit card a stupid amount. It seems greed has taken over for this company, and I wish our school would choose another provider. read more

Not worth it! Many schools force you to use CADY for yearbook photos... it is a trap! Expect to wait around for hours to get your photos made by unqualified photographers. If you plan on purchasing multiple photos, it will be upwards of $1,000. Also, they will spam you with calls, texts, and emails for at least a year after your photos are made. You can easily get professional quality photos and one on one attention for about a quarter of the cost through another studio or freelancer. read more

Senior pictures with a teenage girl are stressful...but Cady Studios took away much of the anxiety once we walked through the door. The setup allowed you to visit each station when you were ready. Most of the photographers were helpful, patient, and pleasant to work with. We did have a problem of being rushed at one station by one photog. I feared that my daughter's frustration would show in her cap and gown pictures. However, I went to the front desk to ask to preview them with the possibility of retaking them if they were horrible. The staff at the desk were quite helpful and upon review of the pics, my daughter had been able to do a great fake smile, so we moved on from that situation. We really enjoyed our photo session! It was much different and lots more fun than we imagined. Al helped us with our cap and gown pic. He was very patient as we wanted one of our graduate throwing his hat. Dymus helped us with the yearbook picture. He adjusted the bow tie 4 times so it would be perfect. Graham jumped in off a break to help us I. Our Exposure pic and kept throwing out ideas until our graduate liked one. During the whole time, Sami helped us make sure we had the right outfit and tweaked each "costume" so it looked just right. She was so helpful and calm. Everyone was so professional and nice. Be aware when purchasing photos from this company! I paid over $1000 for my son's Senior photos; I received the first shipment, and the image wasn't aligned on the photo cube. I call to complain, and the customer service is horrible! The guy placed an order for the new photo cube, and hopefully, that one will be ok. Next, I received my son's 8x10 photos in the mail last night (after they told me I would have express delivery to my door), and the mailman BENT the images when placing them in my mailbox! My daughter took her senior pictures a couple of weeks ago and honestly it was a good experience. Definitely liked the experience better than taking photos in a school auditorium or JCP photo studio. We were greeted and were able to get started quickly. Some photographers were better than others, but our photos came out beautifully. Now Cady photos are VERY expensive. So beware. Felix helped us make our selections. Offering his expertise, we felt confident with our choices. It's hard to leave those photos on the table, so if you don't have a lot to spend, take your yearbook photo and leave. read more
