Let's start by saying that 99% of everything on their website are pictures that Danielle McAdams photographed. After she had her 2nd child she no longer photographs sessions; she just edits them. Ian McAdams is her husband who she tried to teach photography to. If you notice there are no bad reviews on her site or on Wedding Wire... that is because she is able to delete them. Yes, even on Wedding Wire. We have sent an email to Wedding Wire stating our concerns about how vendors are just allowed to take whichever comments they would like down. It is very misleading and will not inform the public of the truth. A lot of these clients that they get are their friends or relatives. We found them online and I loved the website. Now we know after the fact that none of it was Ian McAdam's work. We initially set up our wedding with them, since I did not see any bad reviews nor any bad pictures. Well... that was our first mistake. After our wedding deposit was made (which was about 8 months out) we made an appointment for our engagement session. Ian was late to our session and he kept having issues with his camera lense. There was no communication on how to pose, who was doing what, serious face or smiling, etc. So every picture that we got we are making completely different faces and not in sync at all, due to the lack of communication. So we decided to give them another chance and I told my fiance that we would just communicate with eachother if we would smile, serious pose, etc. Danielle offered another "Special" on her site, so we decided we would do a "Family Session". Ian was again late for the appointment. We have a 3 year old who was in our photographs. Obviously we all know that small children have a short attention span. We went on to take the shots and he would not let my fiance and I both in the photgraphs with our son. He finally waited until 45 minutes into the session for us to do a family photo with all 3 of us. By this time our son has lost his patience with being demanded to sit and stand and pose. We did not get ONE good family photo. This was supposed to be my Mother's Day present for my mom. When we went to get the pictures developed, they had not put the form on the CD that is now REQUIRED for GA to even be able to develope another person's photographs. They would not answer the phone. We called and called and called Danielle's and Ian's phone. It was Mother's Day and I had no gift to give her. It was by far the worst holiday. My mother had been asking for photos of us for the longest time and on top of that she had no gift. After that we started to lose patience. We were supposed to meet with Ian to discuss the timeline and outline of our wedding day that was coming up very shortly. We had scheduled a date and time to meet with him. We live in Carrolton and have to drive all the way out past Cobb Hospital to meet him at a Starbucks. HE NEVER SHOWED UP! (Side note: He was the one who scheduled the time for 7:00am in the morning on a Saturday, which means we had to wake up at 5:00am to get ready and have a one hour drive there! Obviously we work all week and would like to sleep in on the weekends.) We were 30 minutes early and we waited there for him an hour past the scheduled time. I called his phone and it was disconnected. I then emailed him and told him that we were leaving the location to give me a call. He called hours later to say that he had changed phone numbers and he was sorry that he forgot to put it on his calendar. I told him that we could reschedule, but I would like to at least meet half way since we had to drive an hour there and an hour back to our house, when he did not even show up. We could not afford the time nor gas. He agreed to meet me halfway. The next day he emails me and says that he cannot meet me half way that it is too far for him and he doesn't have the time, since he has other sessions to do. We are now only weeks away from my wedding and have no time to meet, he told me to just email him my schedule. I emailed him the schedule for the wedding and he never replied back until the DAY OF MY WEDDING. (We had an evening weddig that was supposed to start at 6:00pm) He told me that he would need more time to take pictures than what I allowed on the schedule. I told him he could show up 30 minutes ealier than his scheduled time to be there, therefor meaning one hour before my wedding was to start. It was 6:00pm (Ceremony Start Time) before he even showed up to my wedding! I was hysterical! He delayed the wedding and took a few pictures of the groomsmen while all of our guest had to wait. There was not one good shot of me coming down the aisle with my father because I was so upset. The ceremony is finally over and he tells us that he will stay 30 extra minutes past his scheduled time since he was an hour late. He left an hour before he was supposed to! This post is in reply to the review based on false accusations received. I am NOT able to delete any reviews on WeddingWire and whoever wants to contact them directly to confirm this information is more than welcome to. It is also a lie to say that our clients are friends and family members. We don't even have family members living in our state. This couple mentioned before in another website that our reviews on WeddingWire were also left by our family members and/or friends which is another false accusation. We have the contract of every single client who left a review on WeddingWire to prove it. Megan mentioned Ian did not allow her and her then fiancee in the photographs with their son. I was shocked to read that since they know that isn't true. We even posted samples of their session (with them in it!) on our Blog and they said they loved them! This is my reply to the first false review left by them: Engagement and Family Photos: The photographer was never late. He arrived at the session on the agreed time but the customers were there early and I guess they expected the photographer to be there when they arrived even though they were early. The couple was aware of how much we charge for travel costs before hiring our services so if that was out of their budget they should have looked for another photographer. I am not sure why the couple hired our services again if supposedly they were disappointed with their previous session. I am surprised to read they call " overpriced " a package that gave them $100 OFF towards the CD price (which regularly it is already pretty reasonable in comparison with what others charge). WEDDING: The couple had done already 2 sessions with us and even though they had a signed contract, they could have contacted us to express their disappointment with the other sessions (which they never did - up to this point we were actually unaware of it) and we would have canceled their contract. I even have a screenshot of the "bride" commenting that she loved one sample that we posted of her session. The couple had a very, very low budget and we worked with them because we believe everyone should have a chance to have a professional photographing their special day. The couple paid us --- less than half --- of what we charge since they couldn't afford our regular prices. It is a lie to state that Ian arrived at the location when the bride was walking down the aisle. We have tons of photos to prove he arrived much before and that he photographed other things before the ceremony actually started. The bride contacted me stating her Wedding ceremony was 20 minutes late due to Ian being late which is also another false fact. We have the time that the photographs were taken and her agenda time and the bride was walking down the aisle only 4 minutes off schedule which everyone knows that for a Wedding IS MORE THAN NORMAL. The groom states on the previous post that it took 3 months for them to receive their photographs which is also a false accusation. It took them 53 days after the wedding for them to receive their photos which is less than 2 months and it is within the agreed time on the contract signed by them!!! We do take complaints very seriously but they have to be based on TRUE facts. The couple never contacted us to express their disappointment in any of the sessions neither Wedding! It is sad to see that a couple decide to post false accusations instead of contacting us directly to express their dissatisfaction and to allow us to address their concerns. Unfortunately it is hard to keep up with all the false allegations left by them, specially because they seem to change their review every week and change the content on the review as well. We do appreciate ALL reviews but we do require them to be based on truth. If we knew they were unsatisfied and they had told us their concern instead of writing lies in the internet it would have actually been a constructive review and we would be more than happy to address any of their concern/dissatisfaction. But instead they decided to write facts that aren't true on different websites and change them every single week. This will be the last time we will be addressing any of this false accusations. And I first booked a session for just the children.....and I loved what she did with the children so much that I booked another session for the entire family. Danielle and Ian photographed my Wedding back in April and I just ADORE how my photos turned out. I can't stop looking at them.. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!
