Nice place for a couple of drinks. Didn't try the food but it looked good. Good idea having a separate smoking area that is closed off from the rest of the place.

Great place for romantic evening, meeting best bodies for drinks, or spending family time with kids and a dog - everyone will be able to find best table and warmly welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. They speak German, English, and sometimes Russian. The place offers selection of Ukrainian, Russian, and Caucasian dishes as well as full bar. Drinks are decent, but don't forget that's it's not a bar. Breakfast is amazing! Try some blini (Russian pancakes). My vegan personal fav is Borsch without cream.

Curd pankakes (sirniki) and Black Sea breakfast.

Same menu as Datscha in Friedrichshain, apparently it's the same just with a different name. Good traditional food, good service, Russian music, but the waiters don't speak Russian. We had curd pancakes along with the Black Sea. Good stuff. Was better than at Datscha

Had a fantastic breakfast at Gorki Park!

Had the best breakfast here! I think it was the Russian or full breakfast, including a variety of dishes in small portions. Quite simple actually, but really tasty and nicely presented. The staff were also really nice and so was the price!

Vegetarian blini rolls breakfast option tasted good.

Food was pretty good and the service was very friendly. The pelmeni was great! The ambience on the porch was nice.

Had the blini for two for lunch. Very delicious! Also loved the old fashioned mirrors on the walls.

Best Vodka in town, all flavors imaginable! I particularly liked the pepper vodka. A bit overpriced though.

Great dumplings! Food is good and reasonably priced; drinks are a little pricey.

We had a Russian beer, Moskwa, and it came in a bad-ass glass.

The fact that clean, delicious (and often vegan!) food can exist in a modern, aesthetically pleasing restaurant and that people who don't abide by certain dietary restrictions can enjoy and crave. I have an enormous soft spot for baked beans over toast. An English breakfast, if you may. (This is the one mainstay of all of the weeks I've spent in London.) And most of the time, I have a hard time getting this baked beans-over-toast fix because I don't eat red meat, so a proper English breakfast would be out of the question. Not in Berlin. Not at Chipps. I came in on a rainy fall morning on the hunt for the Perfect Gentlemen: scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans over toast, and my choice of a vegetarian sausage. And while utterly veg-friendly and endearingly hip (the baked beans came to my table in a little jar), I couldn't help but notice that the meal, such a British staple, fell flat because of what I was comparing it to. The two pieces of vegetarian sausage were cold and the baked beans were just a tad too sweet. But still, maybe Chipps could be your Berlin. Try one of the many other options they have on their menu and I have a feeling you won't be disappointed.
