I love this cafe so much I visited it twice in one week! It feels like you're in Europe while you sit outside in their sidewalk dining area. First visit we got some mid afternoon coffee and enjoyed people watching. I got a decafe latte and it tasted exactly like a regular coffee (I got worried I was drinking an actual coffee). Second visit we got the Mortadella Sandwich and it was the best thing i've ever had. The bread on the sandwich was light and everything was very fresh. Service was quick and polite. To be honest? we waited quite a while bf coming here...as I wasn't expecting the execution of the food to be as good as it was here... I thought oh it's going to be one of those foxtrot or starbucks type places that serve airline type food.. you know, bland sammies etc. NOT even close!!! This is a true European style cafe.. We had the burger and the mortadella sand which was SOO good & w a couple drinks.. both all really good and made well. Service was attentive and friendly. They really hit all the points I look for in a restuarant. Casual yes, but done really well. My only real complaint? The cocktail was served very warm. I had to ask for ice. Food and coffee are good and they have a patio which is nice. I find it a bit strange that it is a laptop free environment...especially during the day on a weekday. I noticed a lot of the one star reviews on here mention they don't allow laptops on the weekend. basically pulled off the street by the vibes at Korzo - absolutely savoring these last couple days of outdoor seating. this is such a cute spot to relish in the warmth, people watch, and have a drink - the cocktail menu is lengthy and they have several wines. definitely a great spot for an Aperol spritz or a French 75. good happy hour too. - people around us were splitting the pizzas which looked thin and crispy and were large pies. the savory crêpes looked crunchy and warm, definitely a unique menu item! - the Mediterranean burger is $21 which was a bit off-putting but the serving is HUGE. it's a pound of moist delectable seasoned smashed sausage sitting in an oily thin pita-like bread. - the thick cheese spread side was so rich and creamy with a very slight tang that went perfectly with the peppery jam sauce - the cevapi is five stubby sausages inside the same pita bread. it comes with the same awesome sauces and is a smaller serving size. the sausages were succulent and each bite oozed flavor. - overall the menu is perfect for lunch or a happy hour. a sandwich or a split pizza with drinks. I think it's a dangerous place to go to for dinner as a simple Caesar salad with chicken is about $23. if they drop the prices of their salads, maybe I wouldn't have been so surprised by the menu. read more

Great little cafe in the neighborhood. The patio was full and very clean. Excellent service l. The server was a tall pretty woman who was super friendly and pleasant and hustling her butt off successfully covering the entire place on her own. The offerings were excellent and they had some very original crepes I've never seen before. Really good. Good sized portions and quality ingredients. Wonderful egg sandwich on croissant with a beautiful side salad. The avocado toast was outstanding. Presentation excellent. The crepes truly unique and wonderful. Kudos to the chef! I'll definitely stop in again this week. It may be one my new go to in the hood. read more

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It was busy and the cafe is small and cozy, so it may be difficult to find a seat. It's a very casual vibe. The service was good and fast. I came here for brunch a few times. I love how cozy and relaxing this place is. I've been here with a small group and a bigger group and they've both been the same experience. They don't rush you out of here and let you enjoy your time. I've had the chicken and rice soup, cevapi sandwich, and the chicken sandwich. The bread they use for the sandwiches is excellent and tastes freshly baked. My friends have ordered the avocado toast, breaded prosciutto crepe, and ham and cheese crepe. The service was rather slow and the waitress never came to our table to check on us or refill our water or even bother to ask about us needing a box or the check. Cute little cafe! With outdoor and indoor seating. The chicken and rice soup was delicious. It came in a regular sized bowl and was very filling! I was expecting a small soup bowl, but it actually suffices as an entire meal. I got avocado toast on the side because I thought the soup was going to be like a side dish, and I could barely finish the avo toast. The avo toast was actually pretty subpar, it was pretty basic, just bread, avocado, egg and sesame seeds I believe. I wouldn't suggest ordering it because it's something you can easily make at home but I guess if you're looking for a simple healthy meal, then it's perfect! Just nothing special. They have savory crepes on the menu which come out looking like fried egg rolls or taquitos. We got the breaded prosciutto and mozzarella crepes and they were absolutely amazing!! Definitely far from what I expected it to be but they were delicious. It was like fried cheesy goodness. the service here is abysmal, and i say that as someone who works in the service industry lol. i came here to meet a friend for lunch at 12:30 on a sunday and they didn't have a lot of seating, so i asked whether we could get a table for two. the girl at the bar said "we're really busy right now". i waited until my friend came and she asked what the protocol for getting a seat was. the girl said that we could wait for a seat and so we eventually found one outside. they brought us menus and when they asked what we wanted to eat, i said i was just going to get a drink and she said that the kitchen was rlly busy so if i was going to get food i should put an order in right then. i declined because i just wasn't that hungry in the moment and she hurriedly snatched out menus away. then my friends order came out literally less than 5 minutes later so im not sure what she meant by the kitchen being too busy... i don't know it was honestly such a weird experience, it almost felt like she didn't want us to eat there for whatever reason?? in terms of food my friend got the walnut & honey crepe and it was yummy! it tasted kind of like baclava in crepe form. i definitely won't come back though because the food wasn't worth the fight or flight response my body went into after interacting with their staff. read more

Found this cute coffee shop to work out of. It was just before 11 am and they offered cocktails as well, which my friend went with. I went with the chai latte, which wasn't my favorite and over priced. It was decent. It was a beautiful day and the windows were opened. The booths are comfortable but there aren't any outlets around the area. It was fine to check out but I don't think I'd go back before trying out new places. read more

I love having a Balkan place so close to home. The cevapi are great, not sure what brand of kajmak they use but it's by far the best I've had in any Balkan restaurant in the US. And the crepes... don't get me started on the crepes. Get a jam one and get immediately transported to your grandmas kitchen eating a home made palacinka. I recently visited here during a bike ride thought Lakeview. I was in the middle of my ride, it was about mid morning, and I had not yet have my morning coffee. I decided to stop here because I had not been here before, and I wanted to try a new place in this neighborhood. I believe this is old location a gluten green breakfast place called Wheat's End (not 100% about this). The inside seemed a bit a cramped, but it was a nice day so I decided to grab a seat outside. This was one of positives. Although the outdoor space was small, and I was a little closer to a couple on an awkward first date next to me, the outdoors space was ver much appreciated. The service was a ok, but nothing special. Initially, I just went in for coffee, but when I saw a pizza in the glass case I asked about the size of the slice, and the cashier made a gesture that really didn't answer my question. I still ordered a slice of pizza anyway. To be fair, the food and coffee came out quickly. The food and coffee I had were, again, just ok. I ordered a cold brew, but I felt like I just got iced coffee. I felt it was more watery that cold brew and didn't really have a rich coffee taste. The pizza was ok. It felt warm, like they tried to heat it up, but it wasn't as hot as would have liked, and the crust wasn't crispy. The value was ok. After tax, for my glass of coffee and pizza slice tot total cost was close to $13.00 (the pizza slice was $7.00). That means the coffee was around $4.00 or $4.25. Not a bad price on the coffee in the context if this area at a small cafe, but I felt the pizza slice was a bit overpriced for the quality. In sum, Cafe Korzo is good, not great. I feel that there are better places in the area. read more
