I was in town for work and we were on our lunch break. The cafe was pretty small but popular since this town was very small. There was street parking and even that could be hard to find if you want a spot directly in front. We came around 12:40pm or so and this place was packed! There were no empty tables and there were five of us. Their menu were all written on chalkboards behind the counter and I thought it was good that each item had an item description so you knew what you would be ordering. I ordered the Cafe Club sandwich ($7.99) and a soda ($1.55). I didn't know what to order but the description sounded good to me. My sandwich came with a choice or a bag of chips or a potato salad (I think). Our order took a long time to come out and that was because others before us had ordered and were waiting for their food as well. The Cafe Club sandwich was good in my opinion and it could be a lot to eat in one sitting. The second time I came here, I decided to order the Beefy Bacon Melt ($6.99) and chose the wrap instead of bread when they asked me. When it came to our table, it was pretty tiny. I should have ordered it with bread because I finished the two pieces pretty quick. Everything inside of the wrap was delicious, but I thought it was pretty tiny for the price. Overall, this cafe was great and definitely a go-to place for this town during lunch time. Come check it out!

Family is driving from Birmingham to Tallahassee and came upon reviews for Cafe Lele. We called to verify that they were open & a very sweet employee assured us that they were & that we would enjoy their food. The restaurant is charming. Everyone was very friendly. The owner was out front & gave us several recommendations. Two of us ordered the special which was chicken salad on lettuce with fruit & pita bread. The other in our group ordered the chick Caesar sandwich on wheat bread. All of our food was delicious. We will definitely stop here again and you should too.

The best part is that you get that vibe with the benefits of amazing coffee, breakfast, and lunch! And you will ALWAYS be greeted with a smile! They have that true southern hospitality and the best service! Their drip coffee is roasted in house and their daily options are DIVINE! Don't like drip? They have the BEST cold brew in town! Want some frozen coffee drinks?! They have that as well! They also carry delicious breakfast options like their Bainbridge Bodega sandwich (pictured) with bacon, egg, choice of cheese, and herb mayo served on a warm and toasty ciabatta bread. For lunch, they have a great sandwich menu and a variety of soups as well! If you're in Bainbridge, definitely make a pit stop to the Bean Cafe and thank me later!

She matched our order from the neighboring restaurant and delivered it to our hotel before our flight out. Her restaurant wasn't even open on Sunday but she was happy to help us and happy to have some more business! This is a true small town and everyone knows each other and it truly showed when they helped us. The pricing was more than reasonable and she never needed to offer a delivery service but knew it would help us a lot. I had the club and it was delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and the portions were large without being obnoxious. All of the passengers enjoyed their sandwiches or wraps and we have added this to our list for future visits.

Not so dire about GF tho. When you walk in you are greeted by the hostess. And the poster that shows the dish here that made it in to the "100 must try dishes in Alabama". The decor feels Bristo Comfy. About 11 wooden tables, mostly 4-tops. White metal chairs that really solidify the decor. Love the photos on the walls, especially "our adventure". I loved the coffee menu, and tried the dark elephant. Dark mocha with peanut butter--- yes pls. And adult Reese's cup in a mug! I also ordered the soup and sando combo, which sounds kinda plain... until you see the soups and sandwiches to choose from.
