I ordered fried grouper fingers with french fries. My dining companion ordered the calamari appetizer and a side of white macaroni and cheese. The first plate to arrive was the grouper fingers and french fries with the side of macaroni and cheese. We were nearly done with that plate when the calamari arrived. Our intention was to have all of it arrive at the same time. The Calamari is nicely fried with a crisp coating and served with a chili sauce. This would make a shareable appetizer or definitely a meal for one person. The fried grouper fingers and french fries were both crispy, hot and delicious. The entrée was supposed to be served with tartar sauce, but it did not arrive on our plate. The macaroni and cheese was the disappointment. It was very creamy, but had little flavor. I added salt and pepper. I use the generous amount of cheesiness as a dip for the grouper fingers. The outdoor seating was very pleasant as there was a nice breeze, sunny weather, and the patio overlooks the Flint River. Such a great spot for lunch! Again, only disappointment was the lack of flavor in the macaroni and cheese and the uneven entrée delivery time. Having said that I still want to return. The menu is full of options.
