I absolutely LOVED this place. Once you arrive, you are told to wait at your car. The wait is not extensive, and it's totally worth it. When we arrived there were around 6 cars ahead of us, and it didn't take forever. You are then told to go up the mountain, and were to park. Depending o. Where you park, they have a gulf cart that is waiting for you to take you to the place. Not only will you get great service, but there's a beautiful view and the food is delicious. If you're in the area, I'd say this is a muy visit.

First time on the island in over years. I was a child when I was last here and now I'm an adult that can enjoy all that the island has to offer. My sister brought me to this cafe and words cannot express how good this cafe is. The workers are all pleasant and friendly. They ask that you wash your hands before sitting at a wash station. The food is delicious. We were a party of 9 and the food came out all hot and fresh. This cafe is on a mountain and once you get in, they will assist in parking your car and cart you up to the cafe in a golf cart. The view over the mountain is beautiful. Their slogan is from farm to coffee mug. Coffee is fresh and grown in their farm.

We stopped by in our way back from Hacienda San Pedro. We were impressed about the organization, decor, view, service. It is a truly and unique boutique coffee shop. Coffee was strong and exquisite. We had the coffee "brazo gitano" and was super. Looking forward to comeback and taste the panini.

Cafe Nativo was recommended to us. It was a struggle to find but once my partner and I found it, we both decided that it was completely worth the struggle. The food was fresh and absolutely a party on our taste buds. Once we put all the food in our mouths, we were overcome with excitement. The owner Jan Pierre was such a humble, sweet, soul. The food is worth the visit and it was the highlight of our trip. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. The fresh orange juice, the coffee, the salad, the fruits with nutella and the pasta were so delicious! The cashier who checked us out was also so friendly and helpful. She allowed us to see how she made the drinks! Please try this!

Excellent service. Food was great, prompt and the place has a great vibe. Lots of choices for brunch with sweet and salty options. Vegan friendly.

    Sandra Farms - Great coffee

Our visit to Sandra Farms was one of the most enjoyable experiences we had on the island! Our…read moreguide, Carmelo, was spectacular - he was a wealth of knowledge, and long after we left, we kept talking about what we learned there, not only about the process of growing and processing coffee, but about Puerto Rico as a whole. I honestly won't look at coffee the same way again! Even my daughter and husband who don't drink coffee agreed that the samples we tasted were quite excellent - even without cream or sugar. The setting was breathtaking, and photos just won't do it justice, though I took many in an attempt to capture it accurately. Really lovely... Do not let the commentary on the roads to Sandra Farms deter you from going. We were in a sedan and it was fine, if a little bumpy in places. However, a word to the wise regarding driving there - first, download your Google maps before you leave WiFi service, because you will definitely go offline. Signage on roads is not always present (true throughout PR), and there are some forks in the road that aren't entirely clear. Second, people who live in this mountainous area (and there are many) are used to these roads, and often - as my mother used to say - take their half out of the middle. Drive slower than you think you should. The roads are narrow and feel more like 1 and 1/2 lanes, not 2 lanes. It is rare to find a line down the middle of these roads. There are often no guardrails, and sometimes not much of a shoulder. Our family had a great time squealing and laughing as my husband braved the many hairpin turns - it is definiely do-able, but just don't try to speed your way there. We got a cute t-shirt that said we survived the road to Sandra Farms, proving that it is just as noteworthy as any other attraction! Finally, these are the most gracious hosts - we were running late, because of a wrong turn, and they were so kind and patient. They made us all feel like we were friends that hadn't been able to visit in a long time. I definitely intend to return one day, and will be supporting their coffee production from home via their website. Te quiero Sandra Farms!

This coffee heaven is nestled in in the hills of Lares which sits 2 hours outside of Old SJ. This places it a well worth the experience day trip. The best part of the trip is the walk up coffee tour that's free. You get to walk up to the machinery and the employees welcoming you to show you how the coffee is made. You can see it from natural coffee to bagged coffee. Please be aware that the employees don't speak English which I could be 100% wrong, but despite that you can see the whole roasting process - FREE! I'd also invite you to check out their coffee shop where they sell homemade baked goods, they have a few merch items, and the best part is the back porch. Let. Me. Tell. You... the views alone are wonderful. Take in a fresh latte made with love. If you want a little bit more of a relaxed ambience take a tiny stroll underneath the cafe and unwind at the water mill and see the birds... btw there is another set of restrooms there. So I highly recommend taking a small trek out into the mountains to grab a pure taste of Puerto Rico's finest coffee.
