If it's (I think) the owner/manager, I won't even order. I'll just sit down until she's done doing whatever. Surly, unhappy, argumentative, confusing, and absent minded... Off the top of my head. I felt bad for whomever she was "training", and I had to ask twice for the food I'd ordered. The staff had to check with her, because she didn't tell anyone there was good up... And it was just me ordering. No one else. Anyway. You'll know who I mean by sight/feel alone. Just go to one of the many other cafes nearby if you see this person on till. Otherwise? Enjoy the free Wi-Fi (code written to the left of the toll, on the food case), the clean bathrooms, the lovely local tea, the unusual music. Oh, and if you want to practice your French? Come here. I made a very long journey for what some Yelpers claimed to be the best cannoli but it was the smallest thing I've ever seen! I guess that's a thing in MTL. Small or large. There was no option here, but another MTL bakery had that option. As opposed America where one size fits all --- XL always. Anyway, quite disappointing but tasted alright. I suppose it's hard to beat a cannoli from Boston's North End. The coffee was well made but wasn't worth the journey. Perhaps I just had such high hopes. All drinks were very good except that the coffee was lukewarm. I had said I only wanted a coffee if it was piping hot and we told it would be. Other than that, it was a fun experience as they offer games to play at the tables. It was clean and the barista was nice.
