If you enter from the shopping centre entrance, you won't see the counter and will have to walk round the L shaped dining hall to locate it. The dining hall itself feels more like a school or college canteen and lacks the comfort of a smaller cafe and the seats are attached to the floor so you can't adjust you distance from the table. You have to purchase your food and drinks at the counter as there is no table service. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and tasty enough but I'd recommend a visit to a more intimate, cosy cafe in the town centre.

The Galley is a large cafe which has 2 sides it used to be one side for non smokers and a side for smokers. The staff are quite friendly but my main problem with The Galley is it's never clean the cutlery always seems to have pieces of food left on them. I have had previous problems with The Galley such as the Milkshakes have been off and a few years back they served us a beacon sandwich in a moldy bun though we got our money back. The breakfast is the only decent meal I think that's worth the money. Most of the stuff The Galley do use is bought from Iceland I've seen the chef buy food from there on a regular bases. Disabled access is available from the outside entrance there is a ramp you can go down which takes you directly to The Galley which it's very easy access. Overall I don't really recommend The Galley.
