So glad to have a coffee shop in Rock Spring! Was tired of driving to Chickamauga for real coffee.

We started with the Brick Oven Pretzels and then ended up getting the Country Benedicts with hashbrowns, the Chicken & Waffles with bacon bits in the side, the French Toast Platter with side of bacon. The restaurant is cool. Open space with a full bar. They also have two conference rooms for hosting large groups. There are also several tvs with sports playing. It took quite a while to get our food, but it was hot. I tried the French Toast and it was still soggy in the middle, not completely done. Wasn't bad, just not how I like them cooked. My son must have liked the Chicken n Waffles because they did not last long, lol. I didn't mind my order. I didn't read that description through for the Country Benedicts but I'm not disappointed. I also inquired about catering and was told they do cater and have a smoker, pizza oven and that they go heavy on appetizers. Very nice!

Everytime we have been the food was bland, items listed on the menu for a dish were left off and we had to send it back and the service was horrible. Waitresses each time never checked back for any refills, never checked back after the food was delivered to make sure it was okay, and it took forever to find the waitress to get our check.

First the pancakes were amazing that malted addition was perfect. Not to over powering. The breakfast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Scrambled eggs are often not good, but these were great. To the people cooking you did great. Our server was so nice and helpful. We split the dish since we weren't hungry and she brought everything on separate plates. Always checking on us and quick with everything. Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. We sat for about 20 minutes without anyone greeting us or acknowledging that we were there. Eventually, the assistant manager came over and said something like, "Oh, I didn't realize you were here," before trying to make things right. He gave us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciated, but then I watched him repeat the exact same apology and offer to at least four other tables. That tells me this wasn't a one-time mistake--it seems to be a recurring problem. It's frustrating because the kitchen is clearly doing its job, but the front-of-house operation is not. The quality of the service simply doesn't match the quality of the food. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. This restaurant has the potential to be outstanding, but if the service issues continue, it's going to drive customers away despite how good the food is.

Fairly busy but seated right away, brought water instantly and quickly took our drink order. Modelo (served with lime like it should be but is not always) and TROPICALIA IPA which was delicious. Their glasses are etched nicely but they come with drink coozies. I wanted to buy and at end of lunch waitress said we could keep if we wanted. Now the food: DELICIOUS. My husband ordered ahi tuna bowl and it was fresh, great veggies and ahi was great. I had the chicken po boy with confusion potatoes. The seasoning on potatoes was so excellent we bought a bottle of the seasoning. (And one is on every table for use in case you want more). Their glasses baguette was fresh and chunky with yummiest sauce. Chicken was juicy and seasoned perfect. But the best sort was put altogether with the cucumbers, lettuce and tomato...it was a hot sandwich that was refreshing and not too filling on a blazing hot day. The service was fantastic and fun vibe. I would definitely come again and again.

The atmosphere is always fun, the staff is welcoming, and the service has consistently been great. Our favorite dish is the ceviche. The only downside is that we've ordered it on two different visits and it tasted noticeably different each time, so the consistency could be better. Other than that, it's a fantastic place with a great vibe, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

Milk & Honey absolutely lived up to the hype. We went for breakfast, and despite the fact that they…read moredon't take reservations, we didn't have to wait at all which already felt like a small miracle. Our server Katie was fantastic. Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

We spent some time outside before being seated, but the food and service made it worth it. I stayed in my carrier throughout the meal and was able to join my humans indoors. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and never made us feel out of place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. Dogba's verdict: Excellent brunch, friendly service, comfortable carrier dining, and unexpected goat encounters. Five paws !
