You get a prepaid card, anything from 5 euros up to 50 (may go higher, but I didn't ask), or you can leave your credit card with the staff upfront and pay at the end. They have several wine 'vending machines' that you stick the card into and get to try out the wine in various amounts. You can have a sample, half glass, or full glass. The screens will tell you how much each sample will cost. Each 'Vending Machine' is sorted into categories like bubbles, whites, reds, dessert wine, etc. It's a great way to try different wines in various regions! The pizza (tomato basil) was probably the best we had in Italy. The salad was good and fresh, very simple as we love it. This might have just been the best food we had in all of Italy. The prices were also super cheap. I think our whole meal was under 20 euro.
