Fantastic food! My friends and I had breakfast here and they did not disappoint. I will also say service was very fast. I had my usual brunch favorites which are eggs Benedict (savory) and french toast (sweet). The eggs Benedict were some of the best I've had in Spain so far. Absolutely amazing breakfast. If you're looking for a bit more American traditional, this place will take care of that, but still has traditional Spanish breakfast items. A good spot for brunch and even got a mimosa with a nice bottle of champagne and fresh juice. I got French toast, but it didn't make the snapshots because I was so hungry and it looked so good. It's safe to say it was as good as it looked. This was a great brunch before our train ride to Barcelona. Highly recommend!! read more

Cute coffee shop. Lots of coffee, tea and eat options. Plenty of seating, if a bit loud. Service is nice though a bit slow, as one or two servers seem to be looking after the entire place. They have fresh fruit smoothies based on seasonal fruits that you can order. The pancakes and waffles also look very tasty. I also appreciate that they have 5 kinds of milk alternatives available to fit different peoples wants. read more

Great spot for breakfast! Lots of seating indoors and outdoors, friendly staff, and great food for a great price! We ordered the chocolate crepes, pancake(small but comes in stacks of 4), toast w/butter and their homemade strawberry jam (we got a full but half would have sufficed), scrambled eggs and a club sandwich. We went here two days in a row. The first day everything was great. No problems. The second day on the other hand, not so much... So I know there's a language barrier but if you don't understand the person then ask until you know you have an understanding. My friend ordered waffles with 2 syrups. I ordered pancakes with black chocolate and syrup. The man seemed to understand us very well but when he brought us our food he brought us both crepes with black chocolate, no syrup. So we sent it back. He then brought her, her waffles but with one syrup and he gave me pancakes with almost raw bacon on top!!! No chocolate, no syrup... soooo. I sent it back a 2nd time... He then gave me pancakes with syrup and chocolate ICE CREAM. Not the black chocolate. At this point I was hungry and I don't like to send food back once, let along 3 times. After we paid and left we later looked over the bill and they had over charged us... If I'm ever in Granada again I know I will not be going back to this place... read more

Overall, I found the breakfast very cheap for the amount of food that we had. 13€ for half a ham and tomato toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs and toast, two coffees and a hot chocolate. I came to Café Baraka with a friend for brunch. There is a sign indicating wait to be seated, but there were only two or three waiters for the many occupies tables. We were finally seated and ordered our food, which came out pretty quickly. The food was good, and decently priced as well. However, apparently the waitress accidentally messed up my friend's order and did not hear what she has asked for. The waitress did not respond in a nice nor understanding manner, and was quite rude to my friend. Pros: the Irish coffee was great Cons: everything else Waited 20 minutes for coffee. 30 for a croissant (not buttered or toasted mind you). Ordered one order of spicy sausage and cheese and got something else completely. When I asked our server he insisted it was what we ordered. It sat on the table untouched. Breakfast took over a hour, no exaggeration. Eggs Benedict. All that was cooked was the egg! I honestly considered leaving after 45 minutes (I am a waitress, and have never even thought of doing that). Basically had the pleasure of paying 30 euro for some banging coffee and to be ignored by some rude waiter. The server was just so unbothered by all of this, it was really bad. I would literally give this place 0 stars if I could. My advice: go for a coffee. Forget about it if you're even the slightest bit hungry. read more

We went to Baraka Cafe in a group of 5 friends. Got seated and ordered. First we got a warning that it will take some time, however the food arrived pretty quickly in the end for 3 people. We couldn't enjoy our meals all together, but also the eggs benedict were undercooked. One of our friend didn't receive his order because the waiter overheard it, yet did not provide a single apology and was rude when we reminded him about the mistake. I am so happy to have found Cafe Baraka through Yelp. This cafe is absolutely amazing for breakfast. The only wish I could make is for them to open earlier haha, but I cannot ask them to go against the hours of Spain. This place opens at 8:30 AM on weekdays and 9 AM during weekends. The menu is so colorful (I took photos for my favorite Yelpers) that I ordered probably too much for us. We did finish everything we ordered though. I highly recommend the smoked salmon with cream cheese on toast. It is a great value at only $5.80 Euro. The toasts are big with large pieces of salmons. The fresh orange juice is also delicious, and in terms of coffee, we like the cafe con leche americano (cafe latte American) the most. The waiters do speak perfect English, and I adore the decor. Not only is the food tasty, the service is also great. On top of the beautiful store, I cannot ask for more other than an earlier opening hour perhaps ;). read more

Outside is really cute, but people can smoke :( so, not very pleasant... we just seated there because inside they have few tables that are not high - and I was with a kid. Try the American pancakes with red fruits. Also good fresh juices and cakes. They also have different milks and bread (gluten free, almonds, etc), but I didn't try. Love this place! The space is beautiful and the service is friendly. Our server was very patient with us trying to navigate our order in English, and even accommodated a substitution. The menu selection is good, more than just pastries and crepes. We had hearty avocado and cheese sandwiches for only 3,20 euro each.
