Came in this evening for dinner and saw that the place was decently packed with a wonderful menu. We were quickly seated and had very attentive service. The waiters were kind and let us try to order in French and tried to converse in French. We highly appreciated their hospitality. Ordered the French pepper steak, escargot, beef tartare, wine, blonde beer, espresso, and creams brûlée. Amazing last dinner in Paris!!

Very solid visit for a quick breakfast! We got a nice warm greeting and were seated very promptly. Took a few mins to have our orders taken, but it was still quicker than other places we've been to in Paris thus far. Our waiter didn't seem to speak much English, and likewise, our French is quite limited, but he was very patient with us and made sure that everyone was clear on what we wanted. It was much appreciated! Unfortunately, there weren't a ton of options for breakfast (although that seems to be a theme in Paris, so can't dock them for that). However, getting the food was pretty quick! Café was solid, as was the cappuccino. The croissant was fantastic. Wonderfully buttery and fresh; my favorite so far on this trip. The eggs were quite good as well - even though well done on the outside, still soft and moist on the inside. Not an extravagant meal, but all very tasty. Sometimes less is more! It is interesting though that you technically have to "pay" for the restroom. However, the waiter should give you a fake coin to use if you're a paying customer, so this wasn't an actual issue. Overall, I thought the environment, service, and food were just fine! Great way to start the day :)

Pretty darn tasty hot chocolate done like no other.

Open late. We were here around 12am. The highlight for me was the hot chocolate. It's must try. That's all I'll say about it. I liked the French onion soup even though it was more brothy then I'm used to. I had steak and fries. Nothing special. The steak was lacking in flavor, however a little salt, and the grilled onions they serve with the steak did give it some zest! We tried several deserts and they were all Good. I avoided sandwiches based on other people's recommendations.

Quality was fine but as others have mentioned service was surly and overall, we felt it was overpriced.

So, where to start. Nice, convenient setting. Wait staff are a little rude (maybe over worked), Food is just ok, as is the coffee.

There's very little pomp or show here, and you could easily pass it by if no one has brought seating outside. It houses a dozen little tables with rickety chairs and the walls are covered in old posters and dark, faded mirrors. Settle in and order a pitcher of sangria from the gruff french gentleman behind the bar. I always end up getting a size that is far too large and end up leaving the bar much more wobbly than I arrived. It is a delicious mix though, filled with deeply stained fruit that has probably seen the inside of the barrel longer than you've been in Paris. As you sit and enjoy the stronger-than-you-think sangria, enjoy the ambiance of this place. Mostly locals (very few tourists here most of the times I've gone) enjoying their evening while sipping on the same delicious concoction that you've ordered. The jukebox is always playing different genres of music and will change from night to night depending on the clientele. If you are lucky enough to grab a table outside, enjoy the sunset on a quiet side street in the center of Paris. Each seating arrangement offers its own enjoyment and I strongly recommend coming a few times to really experience the place. Or at the very least, come order a large pitcher and wobble out to the next bar a happier person.

This is from our visit in March 2018…read more We didn't have reservations so we got in line early for a dinner table. We were the first two in line so when the doors opened at 8 - we were able to get a small table. The restaurant is located behind the bar and is very small - it seats only 20-30 people. However, if you're craving steak in Paris - it's probably one of the best Argentine steakhouses around. The theme is very Heavy Metal and the menu has a lot of sexual innuendos so if you're rather conservative then you might have a problem but then again you probably won't be staying on this side of the city. The service was excellent - we had one waitress for the entire room but she was on top of everything! Best service we had for our entire Paris trip! The food was decent - not the best steak but not the worst. The portions on the steak were small but the portion size for the potatoes was huge. Make sure to get the extra sauce assortment and try them all with both the steak and potatoes. I ordered a chicken salad which came a little too drenched in dressing - not sure if that was normal or they thought I'd like it that way being from the states. Creme brûlée was decent. We also ordered empanadas as an appetizer - they resembled a pair of testicles - we got a kick out of that! In summary, decent food (maybe a little $$ for the quality) but the service was excellent and the theme was entertaining - heavy metal and sex. We bought a t-shirt to remember our night.

Way cool place - and let me tell you why: First, this is an after hours club so you can't even get in until midnight at the earliest. That means you need staying power to party into the wee hours of the morning. The upstairs lounge is well lit, decorated with a few TV monitors and some seats that line the walls. When I arrived it was fun to converse with the bartender - really cool for Americans who like to booze it up. The BEST part is the downstairs catacombs. Not only are the walls dark brick and cold but they are totally old school with arched doorways! Then you throw in some colored lights, smoke machine and loud music and it's a party! I don't usually like gay bars that are too dark and loud but this one has great personality so I highly recommend it! There is a lot of space to move around and there are multiple bars and tables set up in the basement. It's easy to get lost in this crypt-like place but that's what makes it exciting! Lots of nooks to hide in and make out ;-) Also, I found the drinks to be decent but nothing great. C'mon - if it's already late you don't need the most delicious drink known to man, just something that will keep the buzz going and the beer goggles on. While a bit pricey this still is Paris so be prepared with lots of cash. I would for sure stop by this place again and enjoy the new people, fun basement and cool bartenders. Not to be missed! After all - two Richards can't be wrong.
