Our server was lovely. They allowed us to sit at a 4-top inside because it was away from the smokers outside the cafe. I had a glass of wine and a beer and for my meal I had fish and chips. It was light and delicious. I could've used more tartar but it was cooked well. My friend ordered the salmon, which looked good to me (though I don't liked cooked salmon) and she wasn't a fan because she thought maybe it would be a like a salmon she had before but it wasn't done enough for her. She got some fries as well. A very large party ended up coming in after us and took half the cafe, but our server handled them gracefully and also made sure we were taken care of. We actually tried to go back a second time because it was good and near where we stayed, but it was too late for the kitchen service.

Friendly, busy, place as is common in most Paris thoroughfares. It's right off the M10 , Charles Michels metro stop. I was quickly seated on a rainy mid-afternoon. Good vibes, I didn't notice any non-French, so it didn't seem like a tourist trap. It was busy but not loud. Decent menu for both food & drink with common French dishes and international fare. I ordered Fish & Chips having just jumped from London the day before. Big mistake. The fish was over-fried, the breading difficult to cut through. However, the fish inside somehow maintained its moisture. So it wasn't horrible, but after having that delicious Fish & in Chips in London, I barely ate half of this. While the fish arrived super-hot, the chips (fries) were cold. I was disappointed, but have only myself to blame. I should have stuck with some of the French dishes on the menu. Overall, lively, super friendly place. Waiters are engaging and funny. Excellent service as only the French can deliver ( when they feel like it). Good for families w/kids, larger groups. Easy Metro access. My dish wasn't great, but that is only one visit. I rate it a 4 just because the ambiance is nice, friendly service, English is spoken, credit cards, easy to come and just eat without obstacles and drama. Nice, full bar, traditional French, dark wood interior. It can be a fun place to just drink and hang out. Good for dates.

We just had breakfast here, the food is magnificent!!! The croissant is soooooo good! Well, you can't go wrong with French croissant! The eggs with ham and cheese is satisfying and the flavor is great! Highly recommended!

We arrived in Paris looking forward to great French food. Well we were somewhat disappointed. We stopped at this place because it was packed and the food looked pretty good. They came to the table and gave us bread. I ordered a glass of red wine , salmon tartare with fries and salad. My husband ordered the chicken breast. I loved my dish! The fries were golden and hot. The salmon was fresh and the wine was tasty. My husband on the other had stated that his chicken was dry and not flavorful. He actually got sick after eating it. We did order the French onion soup which was pretty average. Just way too much cheese.

Cozy and delicious spot to enjoy a meal in Paris! Ambiance: This restaurant has the look of an upscale European bar with plenty of outdoor seating facing the bustling intersection. While there's not a ton of foot traffic here, it's a lovely spot to spend the afternoon watching the cars and families zoom by. Tourists should note that in France it is perfectly acceptable to smoke in the outdoor section of restaurants - so let that serve as a bonus or deterrent given your inclination. Food: The food was delicious but nothing out of this world. We enjoyed the four cheese pasta and the chicken and mashed potatoes. Menus were available in both English and French. While we were pleased with the dishes we were bummed not to have received the famous French bread-basket as they had run out for the evening (we ate at about 11PM). Drink: Cocktails are expensive here however bottles of wine could be purchased starting at 20EUR and up - a great deal by American standards. Our 20.20EUR bottle of Chardonnay was a light and refreshing treat for a warm summer night. Service: As we experienced everywhere in Paris, our waiter was on-point. He was nice, attentive, and spoke English well. It was incredible to see how fast he was able to uncork a bottle of wine and he elevated our experience to the next level. Value: Hard to judge as I do not have much of a feel for the going-rates of Parisian restaurants, much less in this neighborhood. We spent 47 EUR for two entrees and a bottle of wine which seemed worth it to me. I would go back!

The service was really good, they were able to modify the croque monsieur to make it vegetarian. The croque monsieur was very good and it came with fries and a salad. The spritz was good I love that they put a dried orange in it. They brought out bread with the drinks and when we finished it they brought out more free of charge. I would return here in a heart beat!

After a day running around Paris, my colleges and I had dinner at Cafe Beaugrenelle. I usually don't eat with my coworkers since I'm on a strict diet. I decided to join them since I didn't want to be a spoilsport. Since I can't read French and the easiest items to order were salads. I ordered the shrimp ceviche with salmon. It wasn't bad, but not cheap either. My coworker recommended this place, but it's not a good choice if you are a picky eater like me. I'm giving them a 4 star rating because it's in a good location, great service and a nice salad presentation.

A good spot to watch the world go by of an evening. The staff are friendly and chatty - even with our limited French. Once they realised we were struggling, they switch to English to help out. The food looked good and our fellow customers who were eating looked quite satisfied. We didn't stay beyond one drink - which was pretty over-priced - clearly aimed at the tourist marker, but it's our first night so we ended it here with a relaxed beer.

I was walking around town when I saw this place and decided to eat here with the kids. It's our first time here in Paris and we wanted to eat Parisian food which is why we walked around looking for places. When we got there they had staff speaking to us in English. They even had menus in English which was great because that French menu I had no clue what it meant! Food came fast, server was very nice and informative about the foods on the menu. I ordered the white meat chicken with mashed potatoes and husband ordered the Sirloin beef. Both tasted great and the mashed potatoes were melting in our mouths. I also ordered a board of cheese which had different types of cheese with pieces of bread. The cheese was very fresh and tasted great! They even packed up the rest of the cheese for me to take home. I don't know if people leave tips here but I did. It was a very nice experience. They also had outside seating but we chose to be seated inside. Overall great experience and would come back again!

The cheese soufflé and French onion soup combo was a great appetizer to our meal. It also came with a couple bites of salad. I didn't have French onion soup until this meal, so I was really looking forward to it and it did not disappoint! The beef bourguignon soufflé was absolutely delicious as well and packed with flavor. The soufflé Grand Marnier was a perfect end to our meal, the liqueur added a nice alcoholic taste to the soufflé and is a great addition if you're looking for just a bit of alcohol in your system. The soufflés are the perfect size for sharing, so I would recommend doing that and trying a variety of dishes. Le Soufflé was a unique French dining and I would absolutely recommend them!

We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged.
