It's a quaint neighborhood family-owned and operated pastry shop and café. The first thing you notice entering this establishment is the owner/operator/pastry chef who is very friendly and nice. You can pick of your pastry choice in the showcase and fridge and order your drinks (or just drink or pastry depending on your mood). The chef will bring your orders to your table (which you can simply choose yourself since it wasn't too busy when we went). There was another table occupied by what appeared to be a couple of neighborhood ladies enjoying their afternoon tea/coffee chatting away though very quietly just like us. Apfelstrudel and cappuccino were excellent. We carried out a short conversation with the chef. We really enjoyed our early evening outing in this very pastoral and quiet neighborhood in Schönau am Königssee just a few steps from our B&B. read more
