Our local friend suggested this place... so we followed her lead; just a short walk from our hotel. Since we just had a complimentary breakfast at our hotel, we unfortunately did not have the pleasure of dining here. We did order a cappuccino; very strong but good if you like strong coffee. I liked it. We sat in the patio area, which was nice, but the restaurant itself is very charming. I hope we get to stop by one of these nights before we fly back home... Because our local friend raved about it. Customer service was super friendly.

This is the inside seating area.

We loved this place! It was one of few places open before 9 or 10 (at 8am) and we went for breakfast. They have a decent selection and it was the best eggs Benedict I have ever tasted! The waiter did not speak much English but he was understanding and patient. The inside seating area is beautiful and welcoming. I recommend!

I had the Iberian ham as a starter, the duck breast in orange sauce for the main course and the crepe suzette for dessert.

Maestro is probably a 3.5 for me overall. We stopped here because our planned destination had a…read morelong wait, and Maestro had good ratings. This is a great place to come with a group - the interior is large, bustling and a little noisy. They brew their own beer and it's available in several sizes or in flights. I opted for wine because I'm always bringing wine to a beer fight but the men had a pitcher of beer and were good with it. Maestro has a larger menu so most people will be able to find something they like. They also do lots of combos - liked a mixed meat and cheese board or an assortment of montaditos. That let's you try a bunch of different things for a reasonable price, and it's great for sharing as we found out. I liked our bites assortment for sure but nothing stood out as "amazing". It's a different story on their flammekuche - we opted for the traditional ham and onion and liked it so well we ordered another. Good for groups, good for casual bites, good for variety, great for flammekuche.

When I took a look inside the place was loaded with tanks. Cool looking restaurant. We tasted a beer flight and then ordered a pint of one of the beers we tasted. We had a few tapas of course including a bacala cerviche and fried calamari's. Nice place to visit on a hot day and have a few beers.

Be aware: Do NOT waste your money at this restaurant if you are Asians!!!…read more We dined at Disfrutar with high expectations given its 3 Michelin stars, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were the second party to check in yesterday. However, when several hosts came out, they escorted multiple European groups who arrived after us into the restaurant first, while leaving our party waiting. As an Asian family visiting from the United States, this made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about whether we were being treated differently. The situation became even more concerning during the meal. My daughter was holding a glass of orange juice when the glass suddenly broke in her hand and cut her left thumb. A staff member came to clean the table and clearly saw her bleeding finger, yet there was no apology, no concern, and not even a simple "Are you okay?" This lack of basic care and empathy was shocking. At a Michelin 3-star level, service should be attentive, respectful, and consistent for every guest. Unfortunately, our experience made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. At this level, service is not optional--it is a fundamental part of the experience. Being made to feel overlooked and unwelcome, combined with the lack of care in a situation involving a child's injury, made this an experience we cannot recommend. To be fair, the cuisine itself was exceptional--creativity, presentation, wine quality, and overall execution were all at a very high level (close to 10/10). The taste was strong (around 8/10). However, the customer service was extremely poor (1/10), and unfortunately, that overshadowed the entire experience. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how all guests are treated. There are many choices when it comes to fine dining, and service matters just as much as the food.

The restaurant itself is cozy, intimate and much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It's styled like a whimsical French abode, but with bonus comfortable seats! (I've been to many a restaurants where the sofas look cute but are uncomfortable af to sit in.) Codfish sticks - this is a fish stick I'd happily eat for the rest of my life. The cod is cooked and battered perfectly. I made fun of SO for ordering this but I loved it Octopus - get. it. immediately! Croquettes - yummmm so flavorful and warm on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside Carrots - great but wish there was more honey on it! Black risotto with marinated cuttlefish - a little too salty but still good (the only minus) Big plus to the service, intimate setting and for recommending a great wine to us. My only regret was that we were so full that we didn't get dessert! Highly suggest anyone in Barcelona go visit!
