Was told there would be an additional fee to be seen because of over booking The vet was told about all the symptoms and assured me she didn't have a resp. infection. Her situation worsened through the weekend. Saw North Florida Vet., a X-ray was taken, she had a severe case of resp. inf. We lost her an hour later after 4 days of needless suffering. Our dog was dropped off for surgery at 7:30 a.m., but the procedure was not performed until around 4 p.m. -- an hour before closing time. After surgery, the doctor mentioned she wasn't responding normally. When she was brought out to me, her eyes were not open, her gums were still pale, and she was not responsive to my voice as she usually would be. Despite this, I was told she would be "back to normal by tomorrow." Trusting the doctor's professional judgment, I took her home as advised. The doctor placed her limp body in the backseat of my car. Less than an hour later, she passed away. We were left to grieve our beloved girl and care for her 11 puppies without their mother. We fully understand that complications can happen during surgery, but what we experienced feels like neglect -- particularly because there was no proper post-operative monitoring or follow-up care provided before she was released. We expected professionalism and compassion; instead, we got a generic response. This was simply neglect to provide proper post-surgery care, and, sadly, this particular doctor does not want to accept accountability for his actions. God sees all! We are simply heartbroken.

North Florida Animal Hospital has all this and more in abundance. Our cats have been using their services for over 10 years. And each time we have been back for a scheduled checkup we feel like family who have come back for a visit. The reception and technical team are friendly and efficient. And the vets are knowledge, caring and personable. Dr Steele had cared for our cats for years, and it is clear that she not only loves her job, but that she also loves her patients. When one of our cats died a few years ago, her sadness and compassion were evident. Now that our second cat is having issues, at the age of 17, we have again turned to her for advice and assistance. She treats our cat like he was her own and has made sure that we know exactly what is happening. In fact, she is the one who has called to tell us lab results and she's taken the time to meet with us when we brought him in for overnight treatment. We trust her, the other vets, and the team with the most vulnerable members of our family. And they could not be in better hands. I'm so glad that they are the team who takes care of, and is now caring for, our pets.

The veterinarian pushed repeatedly for neutering and elective surgery despite our refusal. After a brief exam, which included a physical exam, we were told to collect urine and stool ourselves, even though lab work was already included in our $800+ bill. The vet personally called the next day to report normal lab results--which were later proven completely inaccurate. Less than a week later, our dog was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma by a specialist, who confirmed Timberland's labs could not have been correct. When we reported this, the vet was cold, defensive, and showed no empathy. She offered no acknowledgment of our distress or responsibility for the apparent errors. Would our dog's diagnosis be any different if Timberlane had done their job and provided the veterinary service they were supposed to provide - the answer is no, but I can tell you this is a very difficult time for us and all Timberland Animal Hospital did was make things that much worse. This was a gut-wrenching experience. Timberland failed to provide accurate testing, thorough care, or compassion. For anyone who cares about their pet's health--look elsewhere

BAH issues on his records that they surgeries had to be done by a specialist, that came with a $3000.00 price tag. I'm retired and don't have $3000.00 dollars so IO went to Animal Aid Society, they connected BAH for Vyny's records, and they also spoke to someone that was the daughter of one of the employees of the Animal Aid Society, so after all that, Animal Aid Society refused to do any procedures, so my is under life danger and I can't get services for by an means other than BAH.
