I checked out the van and must say I was totally impressed by her set-up. Leslie communicated clearly with what kind of cuts we wanted and health concerns. She had a rope lead around the dog's neck, and pulled him up off the floor. The dog was gasping for breath. The son of the owner saw this in that he was there to pick up his pet after grooming. She proceeded to tell the young man that his Mother needed to train this lab (as she was choking the dog). Prior to this, I took my first puppy Toy Maltipoo there to be groomed for the second time when the business move to the complex next to Coosh's. When I picked him up and got home, he cowered when I stood over him to pick him up. He had never done that before. He was scared of me! After that when I put him in his crate he would run and cower in a corner of the crate if I was near the crate, which he had never done before. I had once witnessed the owner yelling at dogs waiting to be groomed to be quiet and banging on the kennels. I'm assuming my puppy was barking and she scared him to death with banging on the kennel. The final straw was when I took my 2 Maltipoos (I had gotten another puppy Maltipoo) to be groomed and I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted for each, she said, "I'll do what I think is best." I had wanted their hair left relatively long. I had brushed them that morning and there were no mats. When I picked them up they were both skinned. You could see their pink skin! She said they were both so matted that they shaved them! That was a lie! I can show you before and after pictures. My friends were appalled at how they looked. I'll never go back there, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone!
