There's history on the walls to read, and I even spotted my aunt in one of the pictures who worked there back in the good ol' days. They do funky themed donuts everyday, along with daily specials which are posted to their social sites. The hot crossed buns are a popular menu item, as are the giant cream puffs. My personal favourite are the butterscotchy rainbow coloured marshmallow squares. You know the ones. Lastly, this place is also locally famous for being haunted, by friendly ghosts of course. Waited.......waaaaaaaiiiiiiitttteeeddddddd. we couldn't get a waitress' attention to save our lives. We debated breaking glasses, dancing on the tables, starting a riot... Anything to get another freaking glass of water. We had ordered a BLT and a Burger over an hour earlier and there was still no sign of our food. Was it ever coming? Did we even order? Maybe our invisibility potion finally worked!! That was the only logical explanation - we were invisible. After nearly 90 minutes we had no more patience left, we intercepted a waitress and asked for our order to be switched to take out. We assumed she would get the message that it was taking an unacceptable amount of time and maybe check on the kitchen .....???? Eh-NOOOOO .... I'm not convinced she heard me talking.
