Visiting Sedona, we stopped by this shop for coffee and a snack. Upon entering the entry way it was crowded with people waiting. The cookie stands/displays are cute. The person working behind the counter seemed rushed and very transactional. I ordered a coffee not shown and it was okay. The cookie was a sugar cookie with the artwork on the frosting. The artwork is some form of edible paper that's laid on top of the frosting. You could peel it off and just have this sheet of pretty edible paper. The cupcake itself tasted okay. As you can see from my photo it basically broke down into crumbles and became hard to eat. I'm not sure if it was old. It was not worth the price and we did not finish the cookie or cupcake. I wouldn't recommend and would say you're paying for aesthetics and not flavor. read more

This was such a gem in one of the most gorgeous village shops! It was smaller with no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating. The desserts were out of this world- the lemon blueberry cheesecake was unbelievable and tasted like natural ingredients. I loved the Halloween cookies as they had such a realistic photo on each. I really wanted to love this place because the display case is gorgeous, but save your money. The macarons were a massive disappointment. $18 for what tasted like pure artificial syrup and chemicals. There was nothing authentic about the flavor or texture. The German chocolate cupcake was even worse; honestly, it wasn't even edible. It's a shame because the location is primo, but the quality is atrocious. They would literally be better off serving macarons from Costco or Sam's Club....at least those taste like actual food. The cupcakes are pretty, but upwards of $15 per cupcake. And the cookies are $10 for two and they are hard as rocks. We were still willing to try the coffee, so with optimistic smiles we approached the counter to a guy who either was having a horrible day or just horrible work ethic. No hello, no nothing. When I saw they had Mexican hot chocolate, I asked if he could make it an iced latte. He said no. I asked what the "Mexican" flavor was made with and he told me cayenne and cinnamon. Great! Easy, as a barista (and I said this) I asked him if I could tell him what I wanted as I didn't want him to complicate it. He said okay, I began to tell me and as he continued to interrupt me, he finally said, "no, I don't do that." And I said, "okay, never mind." Oy. That could sum up my feelings on this place. I was so excited to see all the gorgeous cupcake offerings but so disappointed when I ate my cupcake. I'm grateful I only purchased one! My husband and I stopped in here on my birthday and I bought a coffee (which was good, hence the 2 star rating) and a carrot cake cupcake. We took the cupcake to go and when we ate it, it tasted like cleaning chemicals. I had a bite and my husband had two and the rest was not eaten. I love carrot cake and was really disappointed by this cupcake. It truly wasn't edible. Hopefully, this was a one off but I don't think I'll take another chance when I visit Sedona next time. The salted caramel latte had chunks of caramel throughout it that I couldn't mix in. Typically, sauces and syrups should be mixed with the hot espresso to melt but the barista rushed through out drinks. The drinks were just okay, nothing special to drive out of the way for. The pastries were expensive and not good. The cupcake was extremely dry and lacked any flavor. The Mango Passionfruit cheesecake had an extremely overpowering syrup/jelly on top that was difficult to finish. It was extremely sweet, thick, and artificial tasting. Delicious but very expensive! Located in the Tlaquepaque Village, this tiny but mighty bakery serves baked goods, coffee, tea, and more. It looks like the specialize in cupcakes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hubs and I stopped in for a sweet treat and were hoping to get a latte. However, they didn't offer a milk substitute at the time of our visit, so we passed on the drink. We got a gem salted caramel cupcake and a bag of cookies. Though the cupcake was absolutely divine, it was very expensive. They charge $7 for this standard sized cupcake. Their beautiful cupcakes can go upwards of $12 (the succulent cupcakes). The cookies were good, but not exceptional. Although I wanted to try more cupcakes, I couldn't justify the prices so we stuck with our two pastries. read more

Desserts here are pricey but will definitely appease any sweet/cheesecake lovers in the group. We got two mini cheesecakes - a dulce de leche and a mango/passion fruit cheesecake - and it cost us over $20. Luckily, they were rich and decadent and delectibly balanced. The dulce de leche may be my favorite bite of cheesecake ever it was so delicious, but the mango/passion fruit was a bit too tart for my taste. We were traveling in the area and had to choose from a few last open coffee places in the area and we chose this one. They were supposed to close at 6p and when we arrived at 5:55, the place had already closed down without any employees even inside - which means they had been closed way before their advertised store hours. In light of this, we missed a few other coffee places who also closed at 6p. Don't know if management is aware that this is taking place, or if management is behind it but what a lousy way to run a business. read more

The interior was warm and cozy on a chilly winter day, and the cheesecake we ordered was rich and delicious. I don't know what people's problem is, but I had a wonderful interaction with the employee here (maybe there's multiple people and I just got the nice lady?) and I had the most wonderful desert. I chose the dulce de leche cheesecake and the peanutbutter ice cream and both were awesome. I sat out on the porch which was nice and had a wonderful time. The food did NOT taste like "soap" or "perfume" like people have claimed. Probably some of the best cheesecake I've ever tasted. What a great experience. Highly recommend. This shop is cute and has tons of really bad choices to be made. We both got small cake bites served like in the cupcake sleeve - they have little individual cheesecakes in those as well. Super cute! Loads of flavors like chocolate raspberry, lemon blueberry, caramel espresso and salted caramel. They have coffee and lattes and giant cookies. This place has been a favorite stop for a long time. We always pop in for a cactus cupcake and coffee. This time, I decided to look up the reviews and was disappointed to hear that other folks weren't experiencing the magic we had. One review in particular referenced that the cupcakes tasted like cleaning solution. I assumed the people writing it just got a bad batch, but came to confirm that our cupcake also tasted like Fabuloso. Sadly, we threw our $13 cupcake in the trash. Sedona in August is hot. Duh, right? So while walking around Tlaquepaque, I was getting really thirsty and spied this quaint shop. This shop has all sorts of rules, like don't touch, no cash, etc. That's fine. It's a small business establishment, and during the COVID pandemic, the owner has a right to be extra cautious. The prices for the cookies and cakes are a bit high (not sure if its the location or because the shop was on the Food Network) so I just ordered the lemonade and an iced coffee. I asked for "easy ice" but she must have thought " a lotta ice" and filled my cup to the brim. Oh well. Stephen enjoyed his iced coffee, I think. Terrible place for cakes or cupcakes - terribly terribly overpriced and I think it runs only on the fact that there aren't many options for people wanting a good cake/cupcake in the area. The cupcakes were cloyingly sweet and flavored so strongly that it would give anyone an instant headache. The cactus icing/frosting was again too sweet and hard and almost 3/4 the cupcake! We tried about 4 different ones. The only cupcake with some nuance in flavor and not bang-in-your-face sweetness was the carrot cake. I usually don't write negative reviews, but I felt like people shouldn't spend so much money and then have such a terrible experience when they are trying to celebrate something. Didn't think i would ever say this but i would probably recommend going to a grocery store instead and get their cakes/cupcakes instead of wasting 3 times as much money here. One star is only for how their products look - They'll look good in photos for some Instagram likes. read more

Went here for some treats and was left very disappointed. The cookies were okay but nothing special. The cashews tasted burnt and for $9.00 I would think it be better. The cheesecake was so sweet and on the mango cheesecake had pieces of plastic possibly in the wrapping? With every bite more pieces were coming out. Lastly the pecan pie...one bite and it tasted like a strange chemical. To me it reminded me of the smell of fabuloso. So I'm not sure if they were cleaning and maybe something was cross contaminated but I was really sad, pecan pie usually is my favorite. read more
