Stemtree in Diamond Bar is so different and stands out by doing just that. My kids go to Stemtree afterschool and they do homework, enrichment such as math and English, then Stem hands on activities such as science, making light up lantern (physic), make crystals (chemistry), slime, 3d printing, build legos that move, code (robotics) and more. The stem portion is very structured and organized with different activities planned out each week. Kids will move between different modules. My kids don't particularly have strong interest in stem initially but I choose Stemtree for exposure to science and hands on activity to build creativity. Also they try to prepare kids for future and just started testing reading comprehension with Star test for their AR level monthly. My school does Star AR test quarterly, but it's nice to have it monthly here to see the progress, help them see results and also improve on test taking skills. During the last school holiday (no school) they have a Columbus theme day where kids builds boats and have a competition of see who's boat floats the best in water and kids got prizes. They also have many othe events.

Just when a child enters, they get occupied from the time they come in with activity after activity which is so engaging and interesting that the excitement keeps going on all day. The after-school program is really well-organized and balanced with learning and fun. The staff is very knowledgable and enthusiastic, which increases interest in kids beyond measure. My kid would come back home daily, having made new discoveries, always looking forward to the next day. The afterschool at Stemtree far exceeded our expectations and will be a really great way to spend the summer here. We would recommend them to all!

I thought my 4-year-old would cry or have a hard time.. but he didn't at all. As soon as he saw the classroom, the kids, and the teacher, he went straight in and started playing and socializing. It gave me so much peace of mind and made the whole experience stress-free. I was even able to enjoy some "me time" nearby since there are lots of shops, coffee spots, and places to walk around while waiting. When I picked him up, he was so happy and didn't even want to leave. On the way home, he excitedly told me about what he learned, especially writing and letters. I also loved that they did a planting activity, so perfect for spring and such a fun, hands-on experience for the kids. Thank you so much to Ms. Maria for being so warm and welcoming. The staff at Circle Time are great, and we hope to be back one day.

My older son has advanced significantly in his math work and is now excelling..he even scored two grades above his level on the state test! The confidence and deeper understanding he's gained have been incredible to watch. My younger son, who has a disability and was previously behind in his math, has also benefited tremendously. The instructors have been patient, supportive, and attentive to his individual needs. Thanks to their help, he has not only caught up to his grade level but is now performing at or even above it. The personalized approach and encouraging environment at Mathnasium have made all the difference. I highly recommend it to any parent looking to help their child build strong math skills and confidence!

That transparency made a big difference for us as parents. A special mention to Moses, who leads the center. He is extremely humble, patient, and takes the time to explain things in detail. He has also been incredibly flexible with scheduling. Anytime we needed to reschedule or asked for extra help, he was more than accommodating. He even offered makeup classes over the weekend, which we truly appreciated. The teachers are amazing. Whenever I walk up to them with questions, they are always open, approachable, and happy to explain where my kids stand and how they are doing. Most importantly, my kids come out happy and give very positive feedback about their experience. Overall, we are very pleased with the program and the people here. It is a great place to enroll your kids, and I would highly recommend it to other parents.

The space is very new, clean, and has many classrooms, including a dance studio, art studio, music room, and plenty of space and materials for kids to learn, do homework, or take extracurricular activities. Emily and her team of educators are very caring and attentive to each student. They help with school homework and offer a huge selection of classes and activities each day, including Chinese, English, math, dance, and art. Emily is very flexible about the times that my son attends and is incredibly accommodating about which classes he takes. They keep the classes purposefully small to ensure individualized attention and safety during COVID times, and they offer transportation from nearby schools. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of care, education, and attention given to each student. I can't rave enough of about this place and I can't wait to see this center grow! (P.S. My son was previously in Emily's Busy Bees preschool for almost 2 years and my daughter is a current student - just another testament to the amazing quality and care of Emily, her team, and the Busy Bees program!)

I think the current and prospective students deserve to know about the kind of environment they are…read moregoing into to guarantee whether their needs will be met or not. Last but not least, Life Pacific University has hidden true colors and intentions. Coming from someone who has not entirely left the school to transfer to another institution or made a commitment to return as a second year I was flabbergasted when I heard one of LPU's lead during a tour tell the prospective student and their parents lie about several things leaning towards what they would get out this school. The school is very very tiny so the administration and the key staff will know what goes on with the students because nothing stays hidden. Therefore, LPU is HIGHLY selective about who they allow into their student leadership positions on campus in order to protect the school's (un)-reliable representation and reputation. This means there is a lot of favoritism involved rather than truly seeing the student's value, passion, integrity, AND CHARACTER. Instead, it is only about fitting the brand name and looks of LPU. Especially, when it comes to the chapel's worship team, R.A. position, and admissions team. It is really sad here to see what this school would do to increase its profit rather than seeing the true needs of this campus. No coincidence that the graduation rate is low (LOOK AT THE STATS). These facts are true so don't let dull words at the student previews try to trick you into going into something that isn't being held to the standard they are convincing you it is. On the other hand, dorm life and student life aren't TOP priorities. Education is the only thing best so far. Besides the majority of staff and faculty who leave this place, they quickly come and go after realizing this place isn't what they thought either. Faculty tries to keep everything under the surface to convince a different story of how staff really act. I can't tell you enough or the exact # of staff that have left or been replaced before I enrolled here and until the end of the semester. Whatever the main cause of leaving is left many faculty members are overworked and underpaid as they are filling in gaps as dual/adj. positions. If I failed to mention, allow me to apologize but Life Pacific Univeristy is far from a private Christian higher education, it is by no comparison different from any other secular/non-Christian university. They use it all for the brand name to convince you otherwise. Last year before the holiday break, we had a security man named Bruce who would often give off weird vibes to women on campus by starring for estranged time of minutes from afar distance without suitable reason and was reported as being overly friendly which distracted him from his original work. Numerous complaints got him fired and replaced by a new security team.

It was 3 days of intense training and technique. The head coach Arson, is very knowledgeable about wrestling and the mind of the wrestler. That makes all the difference. One of the days I came in early and over heard a group discussion. The current LPC wrestlers were encouraging the high schoolers about the importance of prioritizing your life and putting God first and that a good wrestler needs to keep his grades up for scholarships. They also had the financial counselor come in and talk to the high schoolers about college applications, financial aid, FASFA etc. All of this information was helpful and above and beyond our expectations from a wrestling camp. Thank you! Great things are happening in the wrestling team at LPC.
