I recently started vaping to finally kick my smoking habit. I have been to many vape shops on the central coast. And cal state vape is hands down the best one I have to been to so far. The facility is very welcoming and clean. Great decor, and a fantastic selection of juices and mods. The staff there is probably the most helpful I have encountered. As well as very well informed. They took their time with me to the point that I didn't want to leave. I can't recommend Cal State Vape enough for all your vape needs read more

This has been my all time vape shop that I go to, very nice staff, shelves are always looking full of delicious flavors to try, good music, and very cute dog approaches me to say hello. My experience with Cal State Vape has been excellent!! If they don't have my coils in stock they go out of their way to find my coils, call different stores to bring my coils in also they called me when they were back in stock.. George and I opened the first Cal State Vape in Santa Maria in May of 2014. We were both pack a day smokers until a friend introduced us to vaping in 2013 and we were finally able to quit. We offer the highest quality equipment and the largest selection of ejuice at an affordable price. Vaping should not cost you more than your smoking habit!

I was a pack a day smoker for almost 20 years. I thoroughly enjoyed smoking and I never planned on quitting. My husband, George, was finally able to quit because of vaping so I thought I would give it a try. It's been over 3 years and I never looked back. I grew up on the Central Coast and I am so grateful to be able to help my friends and neighbors quit smoking and start the path to a healthier, longer life.

I always had the feeling like I was being judged by the cashier who used to work here. The cashier used to be a shorter guy who looked like he would be more suited to selling protein shakes at the GNC next door. I did consider it was just in my head, but he never seemed thrilled to help me and would look me up and down. This tobacco shop was one of the very few that closed for a while during covid because it was "not-essential." It's a bold decision to stand between folks and their nicotine fix... other shops were more sensitive to the issue and considered themselves "essential businesses" and stayed open while being safe. Anyway, I saw that Tobacco Mart was open at 8am while I was out and about, and so I decided to go in for a usual product. The cashier was all over the place and basically shared their Narc Anon testimony and spoke very negatively about the product I was buying. They seemed excited at the prospect of products being banned. Awkward is an understatement. It's like going to the liquor store and having the cashier tell you about how alcohol ruined their life and they can't wait until another prohibition. Sobriety is important, but so is the time and place to share. Also, harm reduction IS sobriety, if we want to get in it. Which I don't as a customer at 8am in the morning. So although they are open convenient hours, I will surely NEVER set foot in there again. They also charge 36% more than Wild Side! Wild Side gives fat discounts and never judges. Just go to Wild Side.

Just found my new sweet spot. Being a Bakersfield local I was worried upon my move to the central coast that I wouldn't be able to find a shop to get friendly service and affordable vaping supplies. I was so wrong. Cal State Vape has amazing deals, the juices I love, and awesome staff to boot. I'm so happy I found this place. I was so worried I was gonna have to stock up juice and coils from my favorite shop in the valley upon family visits. Luckily now I don't. Cal State Vape is doing everything right. I was stocked when I saw Cal State had opened up where Lovejoys used to be. I had heard great things about their store in Santa Maria and I was not disappointed. They have a ton of flavors. I ended up getting a bottle of Sweet Revenge by Aloha and Ravers Blood by Higher Clouds. Their prices are really reasonable so I ended up getting a tfv4 tank and a 150 watt cuboid for only $135. I saw the exact same setup at another local shop for over $200. They also offer a 30 day warranty, which is something I haven't seen around here. Stanton was really helpful and that guy knows how to build. Jessica, the owner, was really nice as well. This is definitely be my new favorite vape shop. read more

Went in to get some coils for my Kangertech Subtank Mini and found a beautiful shop with knowledgeable staff and awesome juice flavors! I went home with a tobacco and root beer flavor that I've never found before. And of course the coil.
