I'm originally from the Central Coast but recently moved to San Diego. However, I still work out of Paso. I'm a business owner and came back to see over things with my business. I went into Wikd Side to buy some Vape juice. I spent well over $100. The gal behind d the counter with tattoos is extremely rude. I felt the vibe as soon as I walked in the door and the vibe was not a good one. I do not recommend this place at all, especially if you have questions. The service here sucks since management changed. They used to have this super nice staff and were really helpful when it came to suggestions. Now there's just this weird little guy who sits behind the counter. He is rude, and judgmental towards costumers. I went in with my partner a couple of days ago. When I asked for the product I wanted he suggested something different that was more expensive, and when I told him the one I wanted was more potent, he corrected me and d kept trying to upsell. He was really condescending and, asked me "Are u sure u want that". The friends I know also stopped going there because of the bad vibe of that guy. Everyone says it just feels like some corporate gremlin took over and stole all the fun. Will be going to a local smoke shop instead, hopefully one of the old managers got hired somewhere around town. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews on here but I have always had nothing but a pleasant experience here. The workers are always helpful and polite. They always ask for my ID with my card which I appreciate because I've had my cards stolen and used before so I'm not sure why that's an issue that deserves a 1 star review. Best prices even rivaling online vendors. Staff is always welcoming, cheerful, kind, and efficient. I like all of them. I can't believe the ratings are so low for this location. Not to be dismissive of others' experiences by saying "well, they're always nice to ME," but it seems suspicious that there could be this much drama over how to operate vape pens, the return policy, ID checks, and to be frank, it reads like a bit of beckery that is all too familiar round these parts, know what I mean...? Went in a couple days ago. Was helped by a women with tats. She sold me a 5-10 thread battery and said I have 48 hours to return if it didn't work. Walked out noticed the plastic packaging was cracked but battery looked fine so I opened it and it didn't work. I went right back in and she said the packaging wasn't like that before and started giving me attitude. I was very unpleased by her demeanor and asked for a refund. She said I could only do store credit and went back on her word from 10 mins ago. Also saying it was my cartridge not the battery. I said I'd just keep it walked out went to treehouse. The gentleman was great and helpful let me test it out on his battery's and the same battery worked fine. Moral of the story DONT GO TO WILDSIDE. They are very unhelpful and sell you broken shit. Manger RUDE! THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT VAPES!I bought a $50 vape. I asked the gentleman that was working if the vape leaks and he told me no. I also told him I was using the juice with salt. He told me this vape you can smoke both juices. I had it for two days and it started leaking. I went back to tell them. The manger was super rude to me and told me she could sell me a different pod with a 10% discount. The gentleman that helped me before told her it had only been two days. She walked away with out helping me. The gentleman felt bad and said sorry he couldn't help. The manger is super rude and not helpful. They don't know anything about vapes.I will not be going back. For the past year I have shopped at Wildside for many items and have spent quite a bit of money there. Even though their items are a little pricey I thought well they're worth it. On a day that I was in a hurry and not owning a car had borrowed one ran in and bought a $45 torch an expensive one. Since I was in a hurry I didn't have time to make sure that it worked while I was in the store so I waited until I got home. Once I was at home I went to fire it up and guess what broken and did not work. Since I don't own a car it took me about a week to get back to the store to try to either get my money back or another torch to replace the broken one. That is when I was told they have a 48-hour return policy. This means that if you don't own a car and cannot get down there in 48 Hours you are stuck with their broken products and all they can do is raise their hands in the air and say oh well everyone has their rules. Not a word of wow I'm sorry that was broken and you lost money or G I wish there was something we could do for you, no it was just oh well you should have gotten here in 48 hours. If you want to visit a business that has high quality items at decent prices and excellent human beings that owned the store and beautiful customer service simply walk right across the street to the new smoke shop Treetop they will not treat you like wild side does. read more

I went in to the store, as it's my first time being in the store. Excited to get a water piece. The one that I wanted happened to be on a labeled DISCOUNTED price for (15mm-18mm for $15-$20$) shelf. Apparently it turned out to be a misrepresented price which the customer service clerk said it's price is $25.99. Asking if he would honor the misplaced tag, he immediately took it down and said it was not labeled properly. I asked if a manager was present and he informed me there was not a manager in the building. I insisted he call his manager and ask if he will come me the price it was appointed for the sign and he completely disregarded the request and proceeded to assist my friend. I'm not one to ever haggle or even ask, but this was not my mistake and shouldn't have been my fault for even assuming. Because I truly was going to purchase it and multiple accessories, but seeing how I was mishandled by the associate and didn't even ask or honor (what I'm sure is the law) . Fuck that Train your teenage/ young adult employees better and with full knowledge of procedures on the mistakes they make and how it costs you money and customers read more

I visited Wild Side today, and met a young man behind the counter. I had so many questions about CBD oils and gummies, and I had no idea where to start. The shop attendee was fantastic! He was full of knowledge and he made me feel comfortable, no matter how silly my questions were. He made sure I had what I needed to treat my Fibro pain, and made wonderful recommendations that kept me from buying CBD tinctures that were not as effective, or too strong.
