Other than the spot of the suede that got ruined from me walking on it, I literally cannot tell the difference in the heels. I wore them twice with no issues. Michelle showed us an Instagram post from just 9 hours earlier and tipped us off about salmon fishing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through exactly what to do (I didn't totally follow but my husband did luckily). After already paying $$$$ for a guided fishing tour with no luck, we were honestly both excited and weren't sure if it's something we could do it on our own. But she was absolutely right!! We rented waders, fishing rods, and everything we needed right there, and followed her rod set up instruction and all the boys had an amazing time--ending up catching a large salmon (we could have caught more but we got to the river so late..) ! The rental process was easy and they had all the gear on hand. It was our first Alaskan trip and what could have been a pretty average trip turned into something unforgettable, thanks to Michelle and Dave. If I could leave no stars, I would. I had a wedding in August 2021 and brought my dress to be…read morehemmed and for straps to be shortened in June 2021. Rose had me put my dress on and she started pinning the needles on my dress telling me what I needed to do. She was the professional so I trusted her. She wanted to take in the sides of my dress as well as shorten the straps. I told her I didn't want it too tight and she assured me it wouldn't be too tight. She charged me $380 and I had to pay that day, which should've been the first red flag. The first time I went back to try on my dress, it was tight and the straps were so high my V-back was a U-back. I was mortified and asked if she would be able to restore to what it was before because I really just wanted my straps shortened about an inch and for it to be hemmed. I went back and forth to her shop for a total of 8 times. One time she didn't want to let me try on my dress after she had taken the sides out because I didn't have my shoes. She made such a big deal out of it in front of customers but I told her I was trying it on. It wasn't even ready for a hem yet, so I'm not sure why she made a big deal of the shoes. I walked and said "hello Rose" and she said, "hello Rose" back mocking me in a child's voice. Pretty rude. The 7th time I went back to try on my dress, I noticed a little stain on the back of my dress and the inner lining had partially a new material in it. I was not notified that she would be putting in new fabric to my dress. So that day, I was tired of her messing up my dress and I've given her way too many chances. She would always say that she could fix it and I believed her, so shame on me for believing in her 8 times! Anyways, I wanted to take my dress home and try to sell it and buy another dress because it was beyond repair by that point. My winter…read morecoat had a zipper malfunction and the store where I bought it would replace it, but I knew that my jacket would end up getting tossed. And since I couldn't have that environmental unfriendliness on my conscience, I took the broken jacket to Soon's. She said she wouldnt be able to match the zipper exactly but she had a zipper that was close enough. I said great and a week later when I picked up the jacket I couldnt even tell it wasnt the original zipper. $25 is a much better price than a new coat. She has a small shop on Fireweed near the One Hour Dry Cleaner in a 2 story blue building. Slow down or you'll pass it.
