My semi annual cleaning went well, and always done very gently(thankful again),followed up by a new wellness procedure(RBD is always bringing new technology to their practice) that scanned my teeth. My kiddos love the PAC Man game in the waiting area, and mom loves the coffee/beverage station. The staff greeted us immediately and they knew our family by name, which is so appreciated when most places now are so impersonal. I made my appointment a few weeks in advance and they got me in no problem. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and all of the staff were wearing their masks properly. The assistant taking my teeth scans was kind and professional but I'm drawing a blank on her name, sorry!! Dr. Keith came in shortly after and was welcoming and so easy to talk to. He was really thorough explaining the process and all the necessary steps we would need to take to reach my desired smile. I really appreciated his attention to detail and answering all of my questions. He gave me a timeline on when I should receive pricing and the next steps. I also have to mention how comfortable the dental chair was that I was sitting/reclined in. They even have a TV mounted above for while you wait- especially cool for distracting kiddos! Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and hope that everything works out to choose this spot for my Invisalign journey. Keep it up team!

They gave me a 3 page document showing all the work I need to have done along with an estimate of cost for each procedure needed. I paid the $199.10 they said I owed for the day. Another tooth has developed unbearable pain. I called to get some help and was told I have a balance that will need to be met first of $128. I said, I paid in full at my last visit and she said I had paid an estimated amount but the actual cost was $325. That is a difference of 63%. 63% off on the cost of services they provide every single day. 63% error from a woman whose daily job is working with insurance. I get not everything is the same cost and I get that insurance coverage is different for everyone. But any other financial agreement with any other industry, 63% off would be unacceptable and cause for termination. So the cute little 3 page paper they gave me with my care plan proposal is a complete waste of trees because the total on the paper is $5000 for all procedures but according to her math with a 63%+ margin of error, they actually will charge me almost $10,000 when its all said an done, even though the amount on the estimate had me prepared to pay $5000 You can use them if you like. Everyone was VERY nice and friendly. The doctor is knowledgeable caring. But a 63% discrepancy isn't a mistake or oversight. It is ignorance, disrespectful and unprofessional.

I tried calming my "child" down and told him I would take care of it. I called the office and Sara answered the phone and I asked Sara to allow me to make the payment when I wasn't at work and could get my wallet and that it would be make with in a 24 hour period. She said No without thinking, (it's not like we normally don't have a zero balance) after asking to speak to Dr. Z she said fine, she waved her magic wand and my child was going to be seen for his FREE CLEANING THAT HE CAME HOME FROM COLLEGE FOR...but was very Rude about it. By the way, The payment was made before my child left the office that day. When I called the office back after my son's appointmen, the staff must have caller ID because I callec several times being sent to voicemail, (Sara knew I wasn't very happy with how she handled this) but after calling from their website my call was answered immediately. I realized this summed Sara's behavior up, (A mean girl sitting at caller ID sending a Patient she didn't want to talk to sending to Voicemail) very entertaining if you think about it. Today is Monday of the following week and I have called the office 4 days asking for Dr. Z to return my call only to have Sara tell me today he decided not to return my call. It is sad if this is true because me & my Children were some of the Dentists first patients in Alabaster when he opened his practice by Publix in Alabaster. Maybe he hasn't been given my messages, I choose to believe this because I have seen how unprofessional Sara is. Maybe he will get my message today
