My husband had a haircut a few weeks ago and the gentleman that cut his hair did an amazing job. John used to get his haircut from Sportsclips but it was always inconsistent and the prices kept going up. I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness they showed him. He will be going back today. Unfortunately we don't remember the name of the young man that helped him last time. We just remember how he looks. This place is whack! My guy just needs a place for a basic dudes haircut. His is almost Military style... High and tight. He is treated so poorly here. They change the price of the haircuts everytime he goes in. First it was $15... Next time $17 then today it was $20. What the hell. It's lame and feels disrespectful. Make a price and stick to it. These dudes are top notch. Ernesto is my main Barber, but Javi steps up whenever Ernesto isn't available. They both do amazing work. I've been to tons of Barbershops in the southbay, and never trusted any of them with my beard, but both these dudes pay so much attention to detail that I trusted them with my beard. And let me tell you, it always comes out flaweless. The shop is very laid back, you will always find good music and will usually be offered a beverage. Eventhough they like to have fun, they stay proffessional and take into consideration what content they play at all times, especially when I bring in my 8 year old son or my brother thats as tall as an 8 year old. When I first walked in first thing I noticed was the barbershop was empty, nobody in there besides a single barber sitting on his chair on a phone call who sat me walk in and didn't even bother to ack the fact I was there, he carried on with his phone call. long story short I give him the instructions as to how I want my haircut in Spanish due to his english not being too good, I figured he'd understand me better if I spoke in Spanish. He had a very heavy hand with the scissors and not too good with the clippers. He nearly chopped off all my hair with scissors, I didn't think that was possible. I stand corrected. His fading technique was not what I was expecting, for the first time in my life a barber cuts the top of my hair with scissors prior to giving the fade. I asked for a low taper fade, my right side indeed has a low taper, my left side on the other hand has a mid-to-high fade. I decided to not even worry about a line up, I did it myself. This is a place I've been coming to for some time now and for great reason. The guys there are friendly and there is great "guy atmosphere " every time I'm there. For me it hasn't just been a place for haircuts only as I've been dealt with health issues and surgery in July I was beside myself but a visit for a haircut helped me forget for the time being what I was going through. Besides giving me a great haircut I got away from all the stress I was dealing with at the time. I don't think these guys even know what they did for me that day. I sincerely appreciate it though!! Danny is a lifesaver consistently doing a great job even on Sunday, most of the time the only day I have time to go in. Javier has also cut mine and my sons hair and does an outstanding job.
