I cannot say enough good things about Get Fixed Nail Spa! I came in for ombre French tip acrylic nails, and Bo absolutely nailed it (no pun intended). The shaping, blending, and overall finish were flawless--hands down the best nails I've had. The location is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that fool you--this place is a hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which instantly made me feel comfortable. Bo took her time, paid attention to detail, and really cared about making sure I loved the final result. If you're looking for a spot that delivers high-quality work with genuine, kind service, this is it. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone I know. They deserve way more foot traffic--go check them out!

I had such a great experience here! They did my nails quickly and beautifully, and the price was amazing for the quality. They were also so sweet to my little girl and polished her nails while I was getting mine done, which made her day. While I was there, I realized I actually knew Min from years ago--it was so nice catching up and seeing him doing so well in such a busy and popular salon. I'm really happy with how everything turned out and will definitely be coming back when in San Diego.

First time booking with Minh and I had a great experience! He was super accommodating and fit me in last minute before my vacation after my original nail tech canceled. I was recommended by my sister who also really liked his work. He worked quickly and efficiently which I appreciate. He delivered results just how I wanted. I'll definitely be back!

This was my first time coming here, but not my last! Min was my technician. He is super friendly and made sure I was happy with my set every step of the way. He was able to remove my gel-x set and apply acrylic. He used an airbrush for the French tips which meant a perfect tip on every finger! I've also never had a technician ask me my name, and that helped my experience feel even more personal. I have no complaints! The price for my set was $45 which is way cheaper than most places around. Overall, I'll be recommending this spot to all my friends.

Came to this hole in the wall nail shop that I've passed by multiple times & seen but never gave a chance due to the outside appearance. I was searching for places that serviced children. I wanted to take my son for his 1st time since I didn't have cuticle softener to cut his off. I was also in dire need of a pedi. I called this place & they confirmed they offered children services. A mani/pedi for children is $30. I went in as a walk in. Parking is a bit small/crowded as it is shared with other businesses, but I was able to find one in front. They have their own private parking. The nail shop itself is a bit on the smaller side but felt homely. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by all the wonderful ladies who work there. All smiles, super welcoming, made me feel like family. I advised I was the one who called in. They immediately put my son in a chair, who keep in mind is 4yrs old. The older lady who did his mani/pedi lifted him into the chair & carried him off. My son & I were in the middle of our pedis when he needed to use the restroom. They were so accommodating & went above & beyond what their job duties were. They helped my son put on his shoes & asked if he knew how to use the restroom alone. I said yes, the older woman helped him with using the restroom (which is in my complete view). She shut the door but left it a crack open & had her back turned towards the door until he was finished. Then continued to assist him back into his chair. I truly love any business that treats my son with as much respect as they do me, especially being he is a toddler. They were so patient with him. Natalie did my pedicure for me. She is the besttttttt! I had the most interactions with her. We had a friendly conversation throughout my pedicure. She is so kind & sweet. Made sure that any of my needs were met. She was also ensuring my son (who was beside me in his chair) was taken care of. She reassured me plenty of times to let her know if she was being too rough. Her massage was strong & packed the pressure. Which is what I needed. I also noticed & appreciated that she kept looking at my facial queues for any signs of discomfort. Super personable. Not to mention she gave me the short & square look I wanted on my toes. The lines to her French tip were also crisp. Bo did my nails, which was also great. Quick, professional, friendly! I am super indecisive. So, I appreciated how assertive Bo was. Suggested what would look best for my nails. I was also looking for a nude that matched well with my skin. I chose a color, but Bo suggested another color that would look better. I trusted Bo's judgement & went based off that. Glad I did! My nails look so perfect & natural. For someone who is super indecisive, I love the assertiveness. In total, I paid a hefty $183 for my nails, pedicure (top of the line option which I forgot the name of it), removal of gel on pedi, acrylic fill on my big toes, gel polish, & my son's mani/pedi. We also tipped all 3 employees who worked on us. The bill + tip came out to over $200. The price I paid was overlooked by me for THE BEST type of service I could ask for. They definitely have a returning customer! Also wanted to mention they were NOT one bit pushy, which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Lol. Being pushy turns me away from a business. Money isn't an issue, if I want something I will get it. They asked me once what I came in for & didn't try pushing other services on me. They did inform me of what services the salon offered for future reference, ONCE. They did not bring it up after that & in no way did they ever feel overbearing. Some of the services offered from our conversations were nail/pedicure services, waxing, eyelash extensions, haircuts for men/woman/children. We didn't really get into it more as it was mentioned to us when we were already paying & leaving. Like they say, don't judge a book by its cover! Which is what I did with the outside appearance. But I am happy I gave this place a chance. Love all the aunties there! They also accept Venmo.

I recently this nail salon for the first time, even though I've used Google to find nail salons before, this was the first time they popped up. To my surprise, I learned they've been around for about six years! Natalie did my pedicure, and let me tell you--she got in there! She removed so much from my feet and gave me several incredible massages throughout the service. It felt amazing. Bo did my nails and suggested a cat-eye design that turned out stunning--possibly one of my favorite set ever. Both Bo and Natalie were incredibly kind, professional, and respectful. They made the entire experience so enjoyable, and I really appreciated their sweetness and attention to detail. I'll absolutely be coming back to see these two wonderful ladies again. Highly recommend!

25 bucks for gel removal and to change color. I was in a hurry and this was convenient. They had lots of color options. They had eyebrows waxing and hair styling as well. I believe a full manicure was 35 with gel and pedicure 35 as well not sure. It was a chill vibe they had the food channel and seemed like a lot of regulars would frequent. Small parking lot but enough spaces. read more

I went in last minute, and I had Bo. Bo did an amazing job, I wish I would've taken a before and after picture. I got a manicure and pedicure and my big toe nail was broken, Bo did some magic and you genuinely can't even tell that it was broken. The place is a pretty good vibe and the workers are very friendly and make the environment very comfortable. I do highly suggest calling before hand, thankfully I got lucky and got sat right away, but they do seem to get filled up pretty quick so call in advance! read more

Had such a great experience here with my girlfriend. We got mani and pedi and the ladies are super nice and down to earth. Linda did my pedi and she took her time putting the nail polish on and cleaning up the lines. She takes her job seriously. Evelyn did my mani and she is super sweet and very good at what she does. Manipedi - my hubby and I wanted to treat ourselves and get ready for a family event this weekend. I needed a nuetral pedicure Linda is a lovely soft spoken lady that took care of my pedicure. She made sure she cleaned up my old pedicure and gave me the works on me feet. Her leg messages were fantastic! In the end I have a beautiful French tip pedicure. Evelyn was kind enough to give me a manicure I decided on last minute. I don't usually paint my finger nails but I wanted to for our upcoming event. She shaped my uneven nails to perfection and applied the blue gel carefully and thoughtfully. She did a great job! Thank you for staying past closing to putting my need first. I never felt rushed. I will be back to see Linda and Evelyn again. read more

Good service, great quality work, was able to come within 1 hour of calling. My first time here, I chose it based on their reviews and good prices. Bo did a great job on my full set, very detailed and professional! The pedicure (I can't remember her name) was very good as well. I love the hot stones are included in the basic pedicure. I came in for the deluxe pedi gel, they have lots of regulars that knew most of the people by name. They have a tea shop next door and an eye lash artist. Get Fixed really loves color like when they talk to me or other guests they really like to encourage bold over lapping colors. I think they are just artists and want to use your nails as a canvas. I highly recommend. Call them up before if you can to see if they can fit you in. Easy parking in the lot or on the street. A+ read more

Stopped by this place during our vacation in San Diego. As the wife and our kiddo wanted to get their nails done. I also had a pedicure for myself lol. Great service and fantastic vibe. My friend and I were in town for work and in desperate need of some relaxation! The ladies at Get Fixed were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The bad: TL;DR 4 technicians and 2.5 hours later for basic services and subpar nails. *Made the appointments the day prior with whoever was available. The salon was unaware of who I was in reference to an appointment or what I scheduled when I walked in. When again sharing the services I needed, I also said we're doing nails that may require some experience (which was also mentioned on the phone when I made my appointment). I asked for builder gel with extensions, as they advertise they do and why I selected this salon. *My appointment started with a pedicure about 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. *I told the owner what nails I wanted. I waited another 15 minutes for the next nail tech after my pedicure was finished. When I finally sat down, I showed her the inspiration photo, she started to take my dip powder off, then abruptly stopped. I was told I need to wait another 10 minutes for a different technician. I finally get the next technician, she looks at my nails and my inspiration photo, and walked away within 60 seconds. She says nothing to me. *Another tech comes over (we're at the fourth tech in total at this point). He looks at my photo and is very unhappy. Tells me they'll break, which I know isn't true. So finally, I just ask to give me regular builder gel in a single color. I had to ask repeatedly to make sure my nails were uniform in shape and length. So, I didn't get the nails I hoped for, the nail job was shoddy, and it took 2.5 hours to get it done. And wait until you see the inspiration photo--it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

If you know gel x you know what I mean. - Blotchy clear coat; not one nail has a smooth clear application. - Crooked nail application on my thumb. - No blending of the nail extension edges to my natural nail. - No consistency in size and placement of the extension. I've lived in San Diego for seven glorious years and in this time I've learned to lower and lower and lower my expectations when it comes to nail salons. I can't tell you how many places I've walked into and after being assured they understood what I wanted, I got... not quite what I wanted. This isn't a racist "language barrier" situation - I'm white af and have been to many salons where the nail artist was also white (and English speaking) af. They still weren't able to give me what I wanted. It's honestly about communication. It's also about expertise. Minh has been in the biz for 25 years! We talked about what I wanted and he explained the process to me and was excited when I wanted something not super easy. I asked him questions throughout the process and he answered honestly and understandably. He is smart and talented and professional and I hope this is the last place I ever go to get my nails done. I had such a great experience at this nail salon! I came in for a pedicure and a full set of French tip acrylics, and everything turned out perfectly. The pedicure was super relaxing and clean -- my feet feel amazing and look so fresh. They took their time and really made it feel like a treat, not just a quick service. But the highlight of my visit was Bo, who did my acrylics. Not only is she incredibly talented (my French tips are crisp, clean, and exactly the shape I wanted), but she's also so sweet, funny, and patient. I can be a little picky and indecisive sometimes, but she made me feel totally comfortable the entire time. She listened to what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, and double-checked everything with me as she worked. If you're looking for great nails and a great experience, ask for Bo! I am in love with my nails and I'll be back. I was lucky and was able to do a walk-in and be seated right away, but I would still recommend to call to schedule your appointment to avoid having to wait. The staff was friendly and they abide by Covid safety regulations. Cathy (I might be spelling her name wrong, sorry!) did my gel manicure on my natural nails. She was so sweet, made sure I was happy with my nail length and shape. What I appreciate most about this gel manicure compared to others I've had in the past is she did a dry manicure. With gel, this will help it last longer. For regular manicures, she does wet. They have a large color selection, with a lot of the colors coming in both gel and regular polish. read more

Bo did an incredible job on my nails yesterday! They were super gentle too, which I appreciated so much (since that's not always the experience I've had at other salons). Everyone was so friendly and uplifting, including the other patrons getting their manis and pedis. As someone fairly new to San Diego, I really appreciated that so much. Was visiting the San Diego area and just thought of having a manicure and pedicure. Walked in and they were able to accommodate in such short notice. The wait was very acceptable. My person took time and attention to clean my toes and fingers. The foot massage and scrub I got together with the package was a good addition. Worth it! Due to this whole corona virus thing going on I was having a hard time finding an open nail salon with decent reviews or overall pics on their sites. I happen to find this gem right down the hill from my home. They where able to fit me in and even stayed late to finish my gel pedi/full set mani . They are such friendly staff and needless to say the place was spotless and smelled squeaky clean. Thanks again guys! I love my air brush designs and relaxing pedicure ! My overall experience here was excellent. I called ahead to see if they accept walk-ins and they do but they recommend I set up an appointment that same day. I got my eyebrows and eyelashes done. Miss Lin took care of me and was very kind. Most new places I first go to feel intimidating but they were very welcoming. I also got a pedicure. The nail technician is also very nice. Found my new nail/brow spot!!! Came in as a walk-in, wasn't busy at all, and they took me in right away for my pedicure. Hands down THE best experience I've had! She took her time with everything. I legit almost fell asleep during the pedicure because the massage was so relaxing Also decided to get my brows done after the pedicure and let me tell you.. Linh brought my brows back to life! I went in today with my 5 year old sister for her to get a manicure and get myself a pedicure. Truly the sweetest girls I have met at a nail salon ever. When I walked in I realized my blood sugar was low and one of the ladies offered me chocolate covered pretzels haha, thankfully I had a lollipop on me but the offer was so considerate. I've know Evelyn since 2013. She has been doing my eyebrows for that long. I recommend this place. They do nails and pedicures. They also do eyelash extensions. My friend came her, and got treated right away. They provide good customer service. They do very good job and treat you like family. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. They provide excellent customer service. Everything is sanitize and clean. You won't be disappointed. read more

I got my eyebrows waxed and everything was very clean, Evelyn did my eyebrows and she used a clean stick each time she dipped in wax and also used gloves. I noticed everything because I am very careful with hygiene. I also had my eyelashed done and she disinfected the tools before and after my appointment.
